    Guava

I have been a long-time customer (ordering all the Indian groceries online through apnabazaar). Unfortunately, the produce quality has gone down considerably and recently we had a horrible experience with our order. The guava was clearly spoiled but the store refused to issue refund and asked us to place another order instead (claiming that they will include it for free ?!)

I am regular shopper at Apna Bazar in Bothell, i went to Belleuve on Saturday and purchased snacks came home and found that it was packed on May 2019 and expired beginning May 2020 ... they are not cleaning and removing old products... concerning. PLEASE REMOVE OLD ITEMS AND CLEAN your SHOP.

    Expired masala packet

This store does offer variety of Indian products right from veggies to frozen Roti's/naans and any seasonal specials. Includes masala varieties from MTR to Aachi brands, some maharashtrain brands too. However the important point to note is most of these masala packets are expired ones! I experienced this twice with these folks. They are selling expired or close to expiry(1 month left etc) products. Worse still most condiments sold here don't carry a mfg date and hence no expiry labels. So be sure to check your stuff before putting them on your cart. Has some Indian medicines and cosmetic creams too. Indian snacks and sweets are also found albeit varieties are not too many.

7 out of 11 Alphonso mangoes rotten in our box. Purchased on 6/10.

Absolutely bad quality of customer service. Really terrible. I wish they would train their employees to behave well.

This is our go-to store for all of our Indian grocery needs (outside of meat). They recently renovated the store and it looks great.

That said, after today's visit, I stand corrected. The exterior is run down and the lighting inside is depressing, but the place is clean, the staff is nice and the pricing is competitive. If this place had a robust meat selection, I think they could give Uwajimaya a run. I didn't find everything I was looking for, but the dry spices and vegetables were exactly what I was after. I didn't see cabbage or celery, but the selection was still more diverse than any other store I've visited. My singular knock was the two guys stocking the store. Both were kind and polite, but they also had radios blasting music. I'm sensitive to sound, so it made it hard for me to focus and I'm sure a couple items I was after I missed, because I couldn't stay in the area where they were stocking merch. Bulk spices tend to last, so it may be a minute before I find my way back here. That said, this will be my go to spice store.

Found boxes of instant noodles that we liked on sale, got some Milka chocolate, fruits, fresh vegetables, Indian Naan and Paratha bread, spices, Asian sauces, etc. It was a great shopping experience since we hadn't visited this store in a long time.

While it's…read morenot my primary grocery store, I'll come here occasionally to pick up items like Japanese eggplant, Kabocha squash, sesame oil and dried shiitake mushrooms. The Japanese eggplant can be a hit or miss... during my most recent visit, they looked completely fine, but another time, I remember they were spotted brown and wrinkly. The store is clean, organized and always appears fully stocked. Of course, I can't leave without visiting my favorite aisle - the snacks! I'll typically pick up a couple boxes of Pocky since they have a wide selection with special limited edition flavors that you don't see just anywhere. My other favorites are the Koalas March and Asian-inspired Kit Kats. I will normally also check out the prepared and hot food items in the deli area. They used to offer bentos which I didn't see last time, but they had things like popcorn chicken, bibimbap, etc. I've gotten their fresh kimbap a couple times since it's a pretty good deal at $7.99 for ten substantial pieces. The beef kimbap was the perfect light lunch with savory ribbons of meat, cucumber, radish, carrot, egg and fish cake. A staircase near the liquor section (and nearby elevators) leads to an upper level containing houseware, beauty supplies and miscellaneous cute items. I loved browsing the dishes, Sanrio items and skin care products. On top of that, there is a Tous Les Jours attached to this H Mart, making it super convenient to purchase a sweet treat on the way out! I have come to this location several times over the past couple years and despite most customers having a cart full of items, the employees are very efficient with scanning and processing payment. They don't make much conversation, but have always been pleasant at the checkout. The parking lot spaces are a little tight, but there are plenty of them, so I've never had an issue finding a spot. See you again soon, H Mart!
