I think I found my new addiction!!! Apola is in the WalMart plaza with plenty of parking. This is a counter service restaurant. Ordering was super easy, customer service had great vibes and there's plenty of indoor seating. Restroom is in the back and is clean. I ordered the beef/lamb gyro with a side rice. The gyro comes with beef/lamb, tzatziki, tomatoes, onion and fries. The combination is amazing! It has so much flavor and I love there's a combination of soft and crunch. I loved the fries and tzatziki so much, I went back to order a side of fries and a side of tzatziki/pita. I'll definitely be coming back!

Excellent and friendly service and a wide selection of foods. I ordered the gyro and fries with a side salad; this is my typical order for trying new Greek spots. The pita bread was a bit too dense and the meat was a bit dry with little flavor.

I was craving a chicken gyro since I had one the day before from an event and I wanted more but didn't want to be amongst the busy crowd. Upon entering the establishment, my friend and I were warmly welcomed by the staff with genuine smiles, setting a pleasant tone for our dining experience. I decided to indulge in the pita chicken gyro with a side of fries, a choice that exceeded all expectations. The chicken was flawlessly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavors that harmonized seamlessly. Every bite exuded a delightful umami sensation that left me craving more. Their chicken gyro definitely exceeded my expectations and was so much better than the one I had the day before. The overall ambiance of the venue was tranquil and inviting, a perfect setting for enjoying a meal without distraction. I even ordered food to go for my fiancé and they agreed that it was delicious. I had a great experience and I highly recommend it if you're looking for a gyro filled with delicious goodness.

Found mold on my red onions in my breakfast burrito. Girlfriend also found mold on her red onions. What a shame. No one picked up the phone (since I was asking for a refund). Not sure if I want to ever come back. What a shame.

Welcomed as I walked in, extremely clean environment, food came in exactly how I asked, ordered online so I received a free baklava. First time ever ordering from here.

FOOD SAFETY ISSUE. Got breakfast burritos from here and the avocado they added was black! No way they didn't see that when they added it in. Maybe they thought we wouldn't notice....see photo

Greek Style Chipotle! This place caught me by surprise, and we really did not have the intention of going here but came as a "last minute" plan type meal. Thankfully, I did stumble upon this place, and the food is great. You get quite a lot of food for the price you pay and also some good quality food! You can see the meat being cooked daily! Highly recommend the beef and lamb or the chicken! They also have some other options, like the Fire Fries, and I would highly recommend those or the Feta Fries because they have some good flavors and sauces that compliment their Greek seasonings and sauces! The garlic sauce and tzatziki sauce are phenomenal with their Greek salad and Lamb! Service is also so quick and the workers all seem to be having a great time and fun working there! Very friendly and helpful with answering questions! I ended up having the works wrap too, and added some spicy hummus and jalapenos! Added some great heat and solid spice flavor to the chicken! It's a great quick option for lunch or dinner! We even ordered this place for the Superbowl because we were craving it and the garlic sauce!

    - Vibes: 4/5 (cute, diner-y) - Crowd: 4/5 (can get busy at lunchtime) - Menu: 5/5 (lots of options, build ur own plates) - Value for price: 4/5 (very expensive but med food often is) - Parking: 5/5 (shopping center) Came here for a work lunch on a Thursday around 11:45, and waited ~5 min in line before ordering. It's a walk-thru build your own plate style place, slightly Americanized Greek food (think fries in your gyro). They serve a good amount of protein in the bowl but as Mediterranean food often is, it was expensive. I paid over $20 for a basic bowl (Aug 2024). The servers worked quickly despite the crowd. I got a Greek salad with the beef/lamb gyro and tzatziki/eggplant sauces. The meat was tender and flavorful, and I loved the eggplant mash- a weird seedy texture but it was smoky and paired great w the pita. The Greek salad had huge chunks of feta which was delightful, but the salad was SUPER oily and ended up making my whole bowl very wet. A solid lunch spot, but not the most superb quality I've had at a Mediterranean place.

Yum! First time-first impressions:phenomenal! I ordered a plate with butter rice (wow! That rice), carved beef and lamb (also my first time eating LAMB!), topped with diced tomatoes Dill cucumbers, and purple cabbage. The female coworker was thoughtful and kind to put the hummus and Taziki on the side. Loved the mini peta breads! Will definitely be coming back !

This place is delicious. I like to come through on occasion for their breakfast burrito. It's really good! But hands down, the fallaphel and the gyros are always on point! I love the added twist of the fries in my gyro, yum! The staff is always friendly, quick, and organized. The establishment is nice and clean. I'm headed there now! Update: I came through this last week after a small absence from my Greek fix. I was super stoked to see Andre' my man and his crew were dishing out some delicious gyros. I NEEDED to get my hands on a gyro done up Maximum with fries and everything. I had the seasoned pork along with a small side Greek salad. It was awesome!! The gyro had their killer garlic spread tahini, hummus, and seasoned pork. I seriously couldn't wait to get home and dig in!! I'm always super happy to see Andre'and his customer service is absolutely on point! If you manage to save any room after your meal, I recommend any of the after dinner Greek sweets such as their baklava or lukomades which are like small freshly made batch donuts covered in honey and powdered sugar. Like Anthony Bourdain says, " you WANT this, you NEED this!" UPDATE I still continue to come here for their delicious falafel wraps. I recently started going through my old reviews and realized that I hadn't posted any pictures. Keep your eyes open for their mailer coupon and the specials on their wraps.

Tasty wraps and love how I can get a side of grilled vegetables, they give you quite a lot I couldn't even finish it. They have a really good special now where you can get The Works wrap with a side and it's really a good deal!

It's a chain and it has that Panda Express/Chiptole set up, BUT the food is good and a great deal in this economy. It's also a healthy alternative to getting junkier foods. It's in the same plaza as Walmart, but still plenty of parking. When you get inside, you get in line, and when you get to the counter you let the employee know what you'd like to order. I usually get the plate and I've attempted to order fries as a side, but every time I do they either don't have any or they have a dinky amount left :( All in all though, it's pretty tasty and a quick meal when I don't feel like cooking.

    Raw chicken souvlaki in gyro
    Evelina R.

Really disappointed writing this review because we used to come here often, and our most recent visit was the last straw. Idk if the ownership changed, but the quality went downhill. During our most recent visit, I placed a pick-up order for a chicken souvlaki gyro. When I arrived, the worker told me it would be 3-4 minutes for the chicken souvlaki to be ready. I was happy to wait. When I got home and opened up the gyro, staring back at me was raw chicken. Of course I didn't eat it and threw it out. I reached out to the restaurant, but haven't heard from them.

Located in a small but busy plaza, HOK is a small, potentially packed restaurant with a few tables outside. About half full mid afternoon on a Saturday, i got a table and quickly made a decision to try the combination plate with a chicken and kubideh kabob, with rice. Next time I'll branch out, but this first sample provided much pleasure and evidence that they can't do anything wrong (except be closed when I'm craving more ;) A few minutes after placing my order the warm flatbread came out with butter. Comparatively, many other Persian restaurants use Lavash sections, so I enjoyed the contrast. The neighboring table of four received their plates one at a time, so I figured the kitchen and grill were probably also fairly constricted like the lobby. Nonetheless, it didn't take long and the generous, colorful portions were a sight to behold! The first thing I noticed was how moist and tender both kabobs were. Not burnt or dry anywhere on either type. That's attributable to the elevated method of grilling, but here the chef has it down to a science. The second observation came later when I didn't feel excessively thirsty, or bloated, ir dehydrated. Some restaurants really brine the meat while marinating, but here it's another level of perfection. Good service and a reasonable price, although the menu prices might be behind current food costs. Still, it was totally worth it. I didn't have a way to keep leftovers in a safe temperature range, so I ate everything. Full, but not stuffed.

A lot of people I trust have raved about it, and I'm glad I gave it a shot. Our server, Leyla, was great. She took orders for 6 people entirely from memory without a single mistake, all while staying kind, attentive, and composed during a busy service. The food was excellent. The tahdig was crispy, and the stews were rich and homemade, easily some of the best I've had. The koobideh kabob was flavorful and cooked very well, and the chicken barg was equally good. For dessert, the faloodeh had a good balance of rose water, and the Persian ice cream was just as good. I really enjoyed everything about this place and will absolutely be back.

Despite a sign saying 'Wait to be seated,' there was no hostess present. After 5 minutes of waiting, a busboy who didn't speak English attempted to seat us without welcoming us. He barely communicated that no seats were available outside, and when I asked what the wait time was, he could not answer. I found the manager, a Persian lady in her 50s, and asked if she could tell me when an outside table would be available. In a surprisingly snarky tone, she snapped in Farsi, 'You're asking me for the impossible, how do I know how long it's going to take for them to be done? Do *you* know how long it's going to take for them to be done?' I was shocked. Obviously, the answer to a question like this is a standard 15 to 25 minutes of wait time, but unfortunately, she chose a much harder and completely unnecessary response pattern. I told her that this is no way to speak with a customer and started to walk away, choosing to take our business to Caspian Restaurant instead. Unbelievably, she then yelled after me, 'Excuse me, I asked you a question, why are you walking away?' to which, of course, I did not respond. I feel everybody should know about this because a restaurant in such an expensive location needs customer service as its foundation to get repeat clients. It's very unfortunate that this happens to restaurants where the owners are silent and hire the wrong managers--managers who can't handle stress well, or who feel their outdated customer support still holds up in 2026. Unless they change their management style and make a visible change, I would strongly discourage anyone from needing to experience the same.

Before you visit, keep these things in mind: 1. This is a ghost kitchen, not a full-service restaurant. It's best for takeout and delivery. There are only a few chairs outside--just four in total. 2. Ordering is entirely self-service via a digital kiosk, with no staff on hand to assist you. 3. There are no bathrooms available anywhere on-site. Regarding the food, it was just okay-- a bit underwhelming, especially given that Lebanese cuisine is typically so flavorful. The chicken was dry, the hummus lacked depth, and the rice was bland. That said, the fattoush salad, one of my favorites, was very good, with a delicious dressing. Overall, I can't say I'd return. The prices were quite high for the portions, and the quality didn't meet my expectations.
