Good basic food, and nice, quick service. Nice that they work as a team. We like the owner and it seems he has had a great team for a huge long time. Breakfast is good and nice variety to choose from. Never tried the lunch menu. They tend to get busy quickly so there's often a wait to be seated. They don't have a hostess so the servers handle that as well as cashier so that tends to hinder their table service. read more

We stumbled upon this place because we didn't feel like waiting forever for food at keke's and not finding parking at First Watch. We don't like to really try new breakfast spots, but I think we found our new go to. This small diner is fast and the food is great! It was packed, but we really only had to wait about 5 minutes to get a table. We never had an empty coffee cup and the waitress was always there when we needed something. The ambiance had a family vibe! You know a restaurant is good when people are waiting outside to get in. They are so right, the food was homemade delicious. Nice small town feeling local mom-n-pop type diner. Breakfast is large portions and prices are as expected. The place is small inside, so there may be a bit of a wait as the tables stay full. Excellent food and Excellent service. We were on our way to the airport and we're a little tight on time. "No problem" the greeter said.... The waitress was on the ball. She took our order right way, offered coffee refills frequently, and brought our check knowing we needed to get moving. The food was DELICIOUS. While they do not make their biscuits....I WOULD RETURN JUST FOR THE BISCUITS!!!!! Oh my goodness!!!!! They were so fluffy and light! I ordered the veggie skillet and it was delightful! This is my GO TO breakfast place several mornings per work since moving down from Atlanta. I love the omelettes and my little ones love their cheese eggs and Mickey Mouse Pancakes. The new owner is turning this place into a new Apollo Beach gem! The fact that it's so close to my neighborhood doesn't hurt either. This is our favorite Sunday breakfast place but you've got to get there early because it fills up by 8am. New owners took over in May 2019 and remodeled the dining room. Food is great and reasonably priced. Service has always been great and Virginia is our favorite server. They're on open from 6am-2pm every day.
