Love Earles, great people, great staff and awesome food with great portions. I had the Club Sandwhich which was absolutely great and my wife had the Fried Chicken Sandwich which she said was awesome. You got to go to Earles.

Earles Supreme Burger, Own Cut French Fries, and Yuengling Draught.

We decided to stop because every time we travel by, the parking lot is full. Ashley W. was our Server and she was very attentive, courteous, and personable. We felt like we were locals. Talking with people we've never met before. The Earles Supreme Burger you build. I chose Pepper Jack Cheese and Chipotle Mustard. Quality Meat and loaded and so was my date's Italian Sub. The Draught Beer was cold . They offer Daily Specials. Pub food is always the best! - Tim and Judy

    The burgers were delicious!

My mom and I stopped at Earl's based on the reviews after shopping in Gettysburg. The biker bar vibes were strong as soon as we pulled into the parking lot, but my mom was game. The patrons and staff could not have been nicer! The food was excellent. My only negative is that it was smoky, but it's a bar. I'd absolutely go back.

Couldn't get past the front door. They allow smoking and it hits you as soon as you open the door.

This is our favorite bar/restaurant in Gettysburg. The food is AMAZING and we have never had anything that we did not love.

If you like bar food and don't mind the typical dive bar this place is great. Great burgers etc... but it is a dive bar.

I can't tell you how many times that medium is what I usually get when requesting medium-rare at restaurants. There's a big difference between the two in terms of internal temperature, center color, and texture. This place knows how to properly cook a medium-rare burger, and for me, that's a sign of quality and sets it apart. The sidewinder fries are fab as are the homemade potato chips and either comes with burgers. The dressing on the coleslaw needs some seasoning, but the slaw itself is fresh and crunchy. The Maryland crab soup is pretty slammin', too. I favor the back dining room, not the bar (in front). These 2 areas have different vibes. The back room feels like the way a burger joint should be. The bar is, well, more bar-ish. One of the servers, Brody, provides exceptional service--a shout out to him. This establishment's name is playful and clearly informs the customer as to what their specialty is: hamburgers. I bought one of their T-shirts, perhaps that says it all.

I should've left and found another option altogether. We both ordered burgers (of course), his a bacon cheeseburger with fries and coleslaw, mine a patty melt on rye bread with Swiss cheese, fries and coleslaw. Both medium rare. Both came out medium well, no coleslaw, one invisible slice of cheese on each burger and white bread instead of rye on my patty melt. The grilled onions actually looked more like onion jam and the trays with black/white checkered paper this is served on looks like it's never seen a sponge or water. No, I can't recommend this place.

The pub is in the basement of the Federal Pointe Inn hotel, which was historically a schoolhouse. There are cool old class pictures of the former students all around the pub. (When I was there, someone was visiting whose father had actually been a student and she had fun looking for him in all of the old pictures.) The layout is long and narrow, which gives four options for seating: the bustling bar scene, a more formal dining room with around 10 tables, a private dining room with a single long dining table... ...and an anti-social hallway with bar service and a few tables, perfect for when you've had a long day on the road and don't particularly want to socialize with anyone but still want to know that other people are alive. I loved it... I had a chicken caesar wrap (minus bacon - didn't need it) which was delicious, along with the best grilled asparagus I've ever eaten, and a glass of wine to sip while unwinding. The service from the bartender was friendly and attentive, but unhurried. And he didn't make me feel guilty for not hanging out with everyone else at the bar. I would gladly return. It's the kind of place I could see myself becoming a low-key regular.

We had reservations, but they were so busy that we did not get acknowledged for a bit ..in fact we felt a bit like we were in the way in the long hallway with servers flying by. When we were taken to our table, we found out from our server that they were understaffed. Took a while for our drinks, apps, entrees to come, but again we've never seen the Pub this busy. Unfortunately there were several things they were out of, but we made do. I'm not sure if there is a different chef, but the steak almost seemed boiled - it was tender but just not like I remembered. I wish I had written a review previously for comparison as it would've been fantastic. I would like to return again and suspect the experience would be back to the norm... PS - as a pub where you would just want to sit in the bar area & enjoy some beverages among the crowd ..I'm sure it wasn't a bad night!
