Absolutely the worst customer service possible. First person had an immediate attitude when I asked him when the next version of the IPad Pro was to come out. He claimed he had no idea and Apple never tells employees anything. He the said IOS 17 was coming out sometime soon. I then asked what might change with that re,ease. Again, Apple never tells employees anything. I responded by saying some of which I wanted to know has been released online and also by Apple online. I then said I would like another sales person , to which he made some comments which shouldn't be repeated here. As he walks the new person over he decides to fill her in on our interaction when I said I can handle the history. Again he makes an asinine comment. I ask her the same questions I ask him and get told that whatever the last person said was all she knew. She then, assuming I was ready to make a purchase, which I was prior to walking in, begins using her point of sale device to take an order, with an attitude. I stopped the process and walked out. Bottom line, I drove to Park Meadows, got all of the answers I was looking for, got treated like a person, and I bought a new IPad. The first sales person I talked to was a Caucasian female with short hair and she explained that if you want to take a step away from the phone and how much you use it that the watch is a great option, and she was so right! I love the watch and the freedom it gives me from my phone! Also I'm less likely to lose my phone because I can leave it at home when I go to the store or on a hike! It's so convenient I don't want to live life without it now! The second salesman was a young black male and he almost tried to talk me out of it and said he went with a fit bit for himself because of the lower cost, but I'm glad I still went with the Apple Watch! Worst customer experience I've ever had in my entire life. Avid apple user since the 90s. Bought a brand new MacBook Pro in Dec and it just died over night on my bed the other day. Nothing worked except it still powered USB devices somehow. No screen. No Touch Bar. No startup. No power. After days of troubleshooting by myself I finally reached the point where I had to contact apple support. I started with chat and carefully entered my issue and what I had done to remediate in the problem ticket. Did the chat rep read that? No. Did I have to rewrite all of that again? Yes. Did the rep still make me go through every troubleshooting step I had already done? Yes. Did they help? No. Then I was forced to make an appointment at the Genius Bar. So what happens? I have to type my issue AGAIN while setting up the appointment. Oh and guess what? I have to explain my issue AGAIN to the rep at the store. What is point?! It gets worse. Store employee tells me it will be about 24hrs before they contact me. I get home. Within minutes I already get a call back from a Washington number. I live in Colorado. I screen the call. Turns out it was the apple store. The leave a message with NO details other than they want me to call them back BUT OH GUESS WHAT? the "direct" store number routes you to the call center NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO AND THE CUSTOMER SUPPORT REPS CANT CALL THE STORE DIRECTLY FOR YOU EITHER EVEN WITH THE HELP OF A SUPERVISOR!!! Oh and guess what? The problem ticket just said the store was waiting on me to call them back so the call center rep had no information to give me about the repair... what kind of system is this?!?! Did I mention the store also emailed me and told me to call that same 303 phone number? The one that supposedly gets me in touch with everyone except them??? So what do I do? I drive back to the store because I only trust myself at this point. Guess what the next rep tells me? "We think it's a power issue (gee you think?!?!) and it's going to cost $578 + tax to fix it." Excuse me but you already know what you want to charge me but you don't know what the actual problem is?! That's Half the cost of a brand new MacBook. I ask to speak with the "genius" (laughable) who inspected and told him to explain what was wrong. He tells me the exact same thing then says, with utter condescension, "you can take it somewhere else if you don't like that." Apple is charging a premium on products and only has the confidence to give customers a 90 warranty on their devices. 90 days. Apple Care is a rip off. This might just be my favorite Apple Store in Denver. Aside from the personable and very helpful staff it's just got that vibe that I like and respond to well. What makes an Apple Store stand out? It's not their products because they all carry the same exact ones. Not the design of the store either because having visited quite a few inside a mall and being an admirer of their minimalist approach to almost anything I'll say it's not that because that is a given. It's the people that work there. It's the way they approach you. It's the way they handle your questions. I haven't tried their Genius Bar at this particular location. The employees here (who all seem like nice people) seem to have no appreciation for the fact that there are people who have to travel a really long distance to get to their store for repair. Offering a reasonable expectation of how long a repair is actually going to take would be nice. Or a shipping option.-- an hour ago, I actually asked if the computer could just be shipped back to me (I was told just 20 more minutes and it would be done). I could have left and had a nice day wandering around the botanic gardens or at least got a decent meal. Instead, I keep being given totally unrealistic time frames for an update and I've been wandering around a god awful mall for 4 hours and am now sitting in a corner on the floor just trying to escape the noise and the terrible music and gross smells and throngs of people. I've also never been able to talk to the same person twice, though there are tons of employees just milling about. I did find a nice, quiet place to sit in an actual chair in the store and got told it was for demos (none of which were happening). I will preface this with that I ended up crying in the parking lot because I was so frustrated after spending 4 hours trying to get my phone to work. I came in for an appointment to get my screen fixed and it ended up with me getting a new warranty phone. I had to wait 2 hours for them to get me a new phone and I had told the woman that I met with that if I ended up needing a new phone then I would need to know that before they wiped my other one because my phone is also my car key. This message didn't get relayed. I got the new phone and they had wiped the old one, and they had lost my sim card in the process. When I got the new phone, it was only charged to 10%. I had to go to Verizon to get the new sim then back to the apple store to wait another hour and a half for my phone to charge to 50% so that I could set it up. In all that time no one from the store approached me. After all that, I couldn't get my car to pair with the new phone anyway. I understand these are first world problems and I am grateful for that but when you're spending $1000 with someone it would be nice if they would at least have the phone charged enough to set it up. It's a good thing their products are good because I will gladly never set foot in one of their stores again. I'd much rather buy from a third party at this point. read more

Hello, I had an iPhone 14, issues with charging port, tech said the "pins" were bent, didn't know there are "pins" in the port but ok. I didn't have apple care so the cost was over $400 to have it looked at and repaired. OR, I could purchase the new iPhone 15. Apple tech said there was a Verizon promotion that Verizon would pay off my iPhone 14, $400 plus and setup me up in the new 15. OK, let's do that. Got it all done, was over 24 hours before my data plan transferred to the new phone. The following billing cycle I receive a charge on my CC for the payoff on my iPhone 14. Called Verizon, they said there was not a promotion for Apple to go through ONLY Verizon in store or online customers. Apple gave me $370 for the phone and Verizon would have given me the 15 and paid me $870 for the 14. So, DO NOT trade in your iPhone at APPLE. Went in to buy two iPhone 14s. Juan and Jim are the worst apple representatives there. Juan couldn't seem to care about my questions and was rushing us to make a purchase. He then pondered us off to Jim who didn't acknowledged us. We waiting on the table for 30 minutes before he approached us if we needed help. Not once did he check in after until I asked for help. He wasn't attentive to people of color. Instead of helping us he had Natalie help us instead while he helped the rest. Overall bad experience and won't be returning for that matter. Both the sales rep and the manager refused to honor an $80 discount I received from Apple Support for an iPhone 14, saying that such discounts are never provided. If I could give Apple less than one star - I would. I use to be an avid lover of Apple, but after these last three days.... I have realized how much of a shady, unsupportive company this is. I was straight up lied to by an Apple Representative, which I have written record of his misinformation. With this misinformation he gave me, I signed to go ahead with the phone exchange program. The next morning I wake up, and see an email contradicting everything I was told the night before. I immediately contact Apple, tell them I wasn't told the correct information and no longer want the phone sent to me. They still sent the phone. Apple refuses to put anything in writing that they will fix this situation and that they will give me my $750 back, since I was misinformed and no longer will accept the phone. They forced me to call someone just to get information on what happens if FedEx returns to sender. They refuse to put what they confirmed with me in writing - because they want to be able to retract what they say. So now I am having to use my free time to call apple, text and beg apple for what I was told over the phone in writing and they are making me deal with fed ex - even tho this was all a mistake on their behalf. My new Iphone 14 Pro stop working shorter than two month. I booked an appointment, and the associate by the name of Carlos halfway passed me to another associate to handle my case. But she stopped helping after two minutes and told me I had to do the remaining step to update a new version of iPhone 14 software at home. According to her, each associate can only spend a limited time with a customer! And she promised to send me the steps to reload the software by myself, but I didn't receive any email. I confirmed my email address, which is the same as my Apple ID. Took over four hours for my technician to figure out how to back up my Airbook. Then the young, extremely green technician finally figured out how to do the backup. Once the backup started the technician's shift was over and he had to leave so he sent me how in the middle of backup.. The technician closed my airbook with the self powered device in the middle of the laptop and sent me home. By the time I arrived home, the airbook overheated from Terra bite device and I lost all of my data..all my music, photos etc... Another horrible experience at Apple Cherry Creek!!! A rude employee blocked me from coming into the store and asked me who I was and what I was doing there like a security guard. I've had actual security guards approach me like this at casinos, bars, etc.--I know the move. She was incredibly rude, even a little aggressive, before sending me away. Apparently they don't let you into the ''store'' without scheduling an appointment. I both needed a replacement battery and I wanted to browse the products since there are a couple I wanted to possibly buy. The Apple website says they have drop-in shopping and drop-in service, which obviously is not correct. And of course they didn't have any appointments available until the next day. All while several other employees are standing around doing nothing. I've never heard of needing an appointment to shop at a retail store. I wasted my time driving and walking all the way to the store just to be turned away immediately. And the worst part is that I still had to pay for this experience because the parking isn't free! read more

Why I don't get it. The store is a cluster mess. Came in with a friend to do a battery replacement. They had notified him to come in to get it taken care of. We were greeted promptly and than sent to a section of the store for someone to process him. A half hour later they finally take his info and take the phone to the back. I bought an iphone mini 13 online and decided to pick my phone up from Cherry Creek Apple store. I really wish I wouldn't have. Each and every time I have ever gone to this Apple store, it has been a less than great experience. The last time was around March, I had a dispute in-store regarding my trade in amount. Instead of providing options i.e. different model, corporate discount/student, the sales person just stood there and looked at me. I spoke with a Manager later over the phone and she apologized and said let us know next time and we will take care of you. I took that as, we will provide better service. Fast forward to September, I walk into the store to pick up my phone and stand in the front 5-7 minutes waiting with three sales people just hanging out in the back standing around. I approached a salesperson named Andrew, I asked where do I check in to pick up a phone. He said, " he said like an online order, or what? "Do you have an appointment?" I guess I expected, Hi, welcome to Apple, did you order online? I asked him if he was having a tough day, he said, " We'll we just announced all our new stuff and it's been crazy." He asked me if I wanted help setting up my new phone. I told him no because who wants help from someone who really doesn't want to help you and makes you feel like you are bothering them. I asked for a Manager and I explained the entire situation. She did not apologize however just agreed with my feedback that after a purchase even just a pickup the staff should attempt to convey gratitude and or excitement on behalf of the company. In short, expect this type of service for a company who knows that it's customer experience isn't important anymore because they are a household name and then some. Wowwwww-- I cannot say enough great things about Apple at Cherry Creek Mall! My laptop randomly shut off while I was working remotely during the COVID-19 shutdown and a dreaded flashing question mark on a folder popped up. It wouldn't boot and every forum I had read said they couldn't find a solution. After researching and troubleshooting for 7-8 hours, I finally got it to boot through my external hard drive. Being that this was a pain to carry around a USB port and external hard drive connected to my 2017 MacBook Pro and all Apple stores being closed, I took it to a local certified Mac repair shop. They charged me $95 for just running the diagnostics and then quoted me an almost $1300 repair with 4 week turnaround time. Ever since, I've just decided to boot through my external because that price was outrageous for a 3 year old MacBook Pro model. Now that stores are open again, I set up a Genius Bar appointment with no expectations after working so hard to try to revive my computer myself and then get that very intensely high quote from the local repair shop. Zach helped me and he was kind and personable! He ran diagnostics to find it was a software issue in minutes and let me know that they would take a couple hours to get it fixed up. I waited and relaxed in the lobby area of the mall and got a call a few hours later saying that my laptop was ready to pick up! Diagnostics AND repair were free for my repair because the issue was software related. Oh my gosh. I could've hugged everyone there (air hugs, of course). From entering upon arrival to leaving-- I was beyond satisfied and my expectations were greatly exceeded. Everyone was so nice and I am completely elated and relieved after almost losing all hope for my MBP. Thank you guys sooooo much! I could cry! read more

Admittedly, I've been extremely disappointed (while still loving the products) with Apple and was thinking of switching my devices slowly over time. This is partially a review for Apple in general and partially based on the best experience I've had at an Apple store (the newly located Cherry Creek store) The relatively recent (not that recent at this point) lawsuit preventing Apple from outdating your phone within a few years from software updates helped, but the credit does not lay with Apple there. Anyways, I was a little reluctant a few weeks ago to update from the first gen iPhone SE to the 2nd gen. I do credit Apple for finally releasing another phone with a smaller screen, the original iPhone button, and a reasonable price ($400). If they had not done that, I would have swayed away from Apple when buying a new phone. This was the first time I replaced a phone because I genuinely wanted to upgrade and not because the software was malfunctioning severely. I also figured my iPad and MacBook both had a few years left before replacing them, and I could make that switch then if I felt I wanted to. Well, my MacBook has died a horrible premature death this week, making me think DAMN this would have been a good time to switch over. I set up an appointment through the Genius bar to get a diagnostic and see if they knew some tricks I didn't. Of course they did, which concluded what I feared: it was a hardware problem and the screen would need to get replaced. It's an 8 year old computer, and I was hoping to update around the 10 year mark. While I am not opposed to doing the repair myself, it's an expensive part and makes enough sense to just update it now instead of repairing. Back to my experience at the store: Charles helped me. Extremely knowledgeable, pleasant, gave excellent advice, and catered directly to my admittedly very unique questions. Because of his upfrontness, honesty, knowledge, and ability to read exactly what I needed, I chose to buy a new computer directly through Apple and am ordering today. Thank you Charles! Guess I'll be an apple customer for at least another 8 years! Partially because of the products available, but also because there are still good people working there that will cater directly to my needs. EDIT: Just wanted to add that if you're looking for accidental/theft protection, Apple Care is far from your best option. I just added it on as a separate coverage on my USAA renter's insurance for $3 per month and $250 deductible. It covers it worldwide and all your laptops/tablets are included (up to $3000 for the coverage I purchased and I forget if smartphones are included). Multiple damaged devices=one incident/deductable. I can also chose to keep the coverage and get rid of it whenever I want. Apple Care charges you $250 up front for 3 years of coverage for a single device, doesn't mention theft coverage, and then charges the same $250 deductible ($100 for a screen replacement). Easy access since they are one of the biggest stores located in the Cherry Creek shopping mall. Staffs are not always available since it is a busy store, but if you try to drag their attention they'll eventually come for you. We went in here to repair the broken iPhone screen and found out that we were supposed to have made a reservation for a service... But they were not that busy since it was Monday afternoon so we got helped out pretty quick. Large space to hang out w/ apple products, they pretty much have everything related to apple devices. We were told to wait 30 mins but it eventually took about an hour. Without my knowledge or permission, they shipped it via Fed Ex with a required signature and delivery on weekdays only. Apple Repairs was 3 days late on my repair for "diagnosis" (which had already been done) and now Fed Ex is holding my $4,000 laptop hostage since I missed signing on the first attempted delivery. As of 9/19, it has been held up as "delayed" without reattempting delivery and no pickup option. Absolutely abysmal service, cost $600 when I could have taken it to a neighborhood repair service for only a few hundred and had it back in my hands the next day. read more

My husband had a Genius Bar appointment today to get help with his iPhone. He checked in and waited in the back as instructed, but after about 20 -25 minutes he had still not been assisted. I asked 2 male workers I saw standing together if they could check how much longer it would be until it was our turn. They looked and realized something had gotten messed up during check in and my husbands appointment had been cancelled, not checked in for, which explained the long wait time. One of the male workers, Blake immediately apologized for the mixup, and said he would be happy to help us right away, even though he was technically waiting for someone else's Mac repair. Blake did a wonderful job of immediately redeeming our experience, he got my husbands iPhone issue handled swiftly and with ease. It was a pleasure to have been helped by Blake today. read more

I own a business and have over 30 apple devices and in the past year or so was contacted by the business team at this store to start a business account. I optimistically started working with them thinking that I would get better pricing, service support etc...WRONG!!! The business team has managed to mess up every order that I placed with them and cost me more time than it's worth to get things straightened out. They forget that apple makes products to help stay organized, communicate are and supposed to make life easier, but the business staff only complicated my life. Most recently I sent an employee to the store to make a trade in on a new device with apple care + in January...DISASTER! They rang it up wrong and had to charge and refund the item twice and then didn't get the apple care added on. I communicated with the rep abt getting AppleCare added in the week after the purchase and I thought she was going to do it...little did I know it was never added and now they say they can't add it (after having to replace the phone for other mechanical issues) Don't get me wrong, apple makes great products and if there was a similar option, I would buy it based on the interactions with the people at the store. There is no attention paid to the relationship or needs of the business or owner and it is easier to purchase the items online without any human interaction...and the order is then correct the first time! I'm 13 years old and I've had to replace my headphones 4 times now.I take the lime scooters here and it cost about 8 bucks there and 16 bucks back to the lower highlands ( where my home is).
