I have been here twice now after my sub-standard experiences with another nail salon and I'm very happy with my switch. It's definitely not high-end but it's more than what you'd expect from a local nail salon. It's clean, spacious, has plenty of TVs for entertainment, nice massage chairs, staff is friendly, prices are competitive and service is pleasant. Anyone that has been to a nail salon knows the massage is the best part and they actually set a timer when they massage you here! I did feel significant pain from the filing and I think they could have been a little gentler but nothing crazy. If you're driving there may not be parking in the plaza but there is a shopping center across the street w parking and also residential parking but just make sure to pay attention to street cleaning signs ! read more

Apple Nail ruined my fingernails I am not one to really get my nails done often and I never get acrylic. I got engaged so I wanted to have nice nails to show off my ring so I started doing gel manicures at Apple Nail. They drilled and drilled my nails each time to remove the gel, never let them soak long enough to remove properly and they damaged them SO BADLY that my finger nails detached from my nail bed. Not just one either, every single one. The gel was never actually off from the time before and it put so much trauma and damage to my nails. I had to get the dead parts of the nails cut down to the quick (which was so painful) by an actual professional and am currently treating them with medication and hoping and praying they grow back. I'm absolutely devastated they did this to my nails and I'm getting married in 8 weeks. I would NEVER return or recommend them to anyone, EVER. read more

They helped me about 25 mins after my appointment but it was worth the wait. My nails look great! I believe the lady that helped me was named Kim and she's exceptional. Giving some stars bc my nails look good and I generally don't like leaving negative reviews but this place is terrible with appointments. I called to see what availability my preferred technician had for later today and tomorrow and was told he was available at 3pm. It was 2:15 - I say great and take that, rushing to get there by 3. At 3pm I call and say I'm going to be a few minutes late - they say no problem. I walk in a few past 3 and am greeted by the receptionist and say I have an appointment. She has no idea who I am which is fine but proceeds to seat me at the pedicure chair and tell me she's going to be doing my nails - the person I've only known as the receptionist. I tell her I made an appointment with a specific person and would prefer to see him. She says he's running behind, I ask how long but she won't say. Someone else comes out from the back and I ask how long the person I made the appointment with is going to be and am told 30-45 min. I say ok I'll just leave - I really wanted to see this specific person - why did you tell me he was available if he wasn't? And why didn't you tell me he was 45 min behind when I called to say I was running late?? She apologizes and says they messed up, so I agree to stay because I thought it was big of her to say they made a mistake, a lot of people have a hard time doing that. I sit down with the woman who again, last time I was here was acting as the receptionist. I figure hey maybe she was filling in that day or maybe they switch off who answers phones etc. - no problem. I was very wrong as this was not her day off as the receptionist. Throughout my appointment, she stops to answer the phone, take appointments, greet people coming in, lock the door because there's a weird guy lingering outside, she must have stopped to do something in the middle of my manicure no less than 6 times. I was so annoyed when I was finished I declined to get the massage. Also, the guy I originally made the appointment with was still working on the customer he was with when I came in. I highly doubt he was never available to do my nails, they just wanted to get another customer in. Manage your expectations if you take appointments seriously because in my experience they do not. Also the pillow they put on my lap had stains all over it. Will not be back. read more

I went to Apple Nails One at the recommendation of a friend. I live on the west side but was over in weho and needed to get my nails done. Elle did a hard gel fill for me and did an amazing job! I prefer my nails more natural and thin and she nailed it! My nails before were pretty thick and lifting and she fixed them all and was also so quick. My boyfriend got a regular manicure after me with Elle and he said it was the best manicure he's ever gotten. He's a nail biter and she cleaned up his nails and cuticles so well. Patricia is my girl!!! Every 2-3 weeks I come in with intricate nail designs for my acrylic set and Patricia flawlessly brings my visions to life. Her work is not only beautiful but strong as well- my nails never break in between fills. Ive come in close to closing and they always insist they have time for me and even when it's been past closing, they take the time to make sure my nail are absolutely perfect. Price is fair compared to other LA nail salons. Parking is kinda a pain though - basically only valet for $2.50 unless you find street parking, but their work is worth it! I am not one to leave bad reviews. But, I am doing so now. My husband booked an Indulgent Spa Mani and Indulgent Spa Pedi for me on 7/16/23 - 2:30pm. He did so on 7/10/23. He was told all was set an even captured the screenshot. He was told he should call on 7/16/23 in advance to provide his credit card as a treat for me/my birthday. My husband went the extra mile and called on 7/15/23 to confirm the appointment. He was told it was confirmed. Then, he was told there was no way he could pay in advance. When he drove me there, there was no parking in the lot and I didn't want to bother him with a parking ticket. I walked in well before the 2:30pm appointment on 7/16/23 (@ 2:13pm) and mentioned my name and my appointment time. I was told to sit and wait. Fair enough. I waited until well after 3:15pm to be seated - while other walk in customers were served before me and even folks who arrived late for a 2:30pm appointment were served before me. I had to show the screenshot of my appointment confirmation and that didn't matter. There is worse in this world for sure. But, I will never go back there again. I got rushed service and a day later, the polish on my mani is peeling off. read more

I've been to this place a few times now. They're not my favorite but they are close by and therefore convenient. It's not a place I enjoy coming to because they don't honor price quotes on the phone or yelp ads, so it's hard to communicate or trust them. It feels like they don't appreciate their customers as long term relationships and only see us as one time ATM machines(speaking of, they charge extra to use card but don't tell you this on the phone). West Hollywood in the high rent district next to the seedy vitamin store and impossible-to-park-at-Trader Joe's, Green Apple Nails (hereafter, "GAN") is just what the cosmetologist ordered when it comes to undoing the damage wrought by a three hour essay on how Lady MacBeth is a modern-day feminist taking a stand against Scottish misogyny. For $28, you can get a full manicure and pedicure, and if you play your cards right (*cough* ask nicely and play the "you have such beautiful eyes" card), you can get comped on the hand and food massage. Otherwise, it's just an extra $5, which is like one drink on Tuesday night at the club no one goes to anymore. Waxing and facial services are offered as well, and there are private rooms available if you're skittish or afraid that the other guys from your running club will see you and finally figure out the reason why you have such pretty legs compared to the other young men. Anytoomuchinformationway, the staff are Vietnamese and related, so if you speak Vietnamese -- and even if you don't -- you can have a lot of fun talking about Saigon and Pho and whether or not Vietnam is more humid than Thailand. Cash only, though there is an ATM on site -- it's $2 to use, but you already knew that, didn't you, sexy... GAN will take your personal check if they know you, and they WILL eventually agree to dig beneath the sales counter and "find" their credit card reader if you haggle long enough and insist that your plastic is your only method of payment, precious. As for skill? WeHo's GAN is good, but not great in the "Gatsby" sense. Speaking of sense, I don't know if that made any, but well, there you have it, honey. -- Hey, at $16 for a full manicure, you won't find work this good outside of Koreatown. And if you DO go to KoTo, you're more likely to get mugged. Out in WeHo, you're more apt to be whistled at, gorgeous. Love coming here with my girlfriend and my mother. This is our regular salon, we go every 2 weeks or so. Everyone knows us here and we always get the rejuvenation combo. The ladies here are so friendly and nice, they really make you feel welcome! They do great work and they make sure you are feeling relaxed and happy. I get my eyebrows done at Salon Republic across the street. I always wished that there was a nail salon that was in the same plaza so I can get two errands done in one. I consulted my good friend, Yelp and realized there is a nail salon in the plaza across the street. Parking is a little difficult because the plaza parking lot is tiny, but I was lucky enough to find a spot. The valet guy will ask how long you're staying there. Just let him know that you're getting a quick manicure and you'll be out shortly. He will let you stay. I did not make a reservation and I was able to walk right in. It was early afternoon and there was only a few other girls in there. They had great polish choices. I was able to get my manicure and pedicure done at the same time. I love when that happens because I am in and out. I sat in the nice, comfy seat and got my chair massage while I enjoyed my manicure and pedicure. I also paid an extra five dollars to get a shoulder massage. I always hope that the salons are not too busy so I can get my shoulder massage, I would prefer paying five dollars over $75 for an actual massage. Most of my stress is from traveling and in my upper shoulders. In an hour, I got a beautiful manicure, pedicure, and shoulder massage. The prices were very reasonable and the service was outstanding. I want to shout out a few names because of how awesome everyone was! Vincent who did my pedicure, Susan who did my manicure, and Tracy who is the manager. She took photos of my mani and pedi because she loved them!Unfortunately, because I have been traveling so much - I have not returned in a few months, but I can't wait to go back! I loved my first time here so much that I came back for seconds!!! Huong did such a meticulous job and pay so much attention to detail on my gel nails that they stayed intact (no peeling, no lifting) for almost 4 weeks. I have no idea what the other person was talking about when they rated this place. The staff is so nice to everyone and the environment is very welcoming and upbeat. This is the only place I will go to have my nails done! I arrived a quarter to closing and they were kind enough to take my walk-in. Valet parking is free if you let them know you are going to the salon. They accept credit cards but prefers tips in cash. Not a big deal in my book. The prices are also very reasonable in comparison of many other nail salons. I highly recommend you go here at least once to check it out!! read more

Be prepared to waste your time. Do NOT go here if you don't have hours to waste waiting around. Every time I book an appointment it is always at least a few days ahead of time. I always make a point to note I want my hands and toes done at the same time. The first time I went in, they acted oblivious to the fact that I had an appointment, they switched 3 different nail techs. 2nd visit I waited 30 mins to finally be attended to. Last and final time I will ever step foot in this place is when I booked both at the same time. 1 1/2 hours later (she was almost done with my hands), I ask her when they are going to start my pedicure then she proceeds to tell me they are short staffed and tells me I should come back tomorrow.
