Hello My name is Ben i purchased an iPhone x less then a month ago and the phone is giving me a lot of problems. The battery is always ding quickly i barely use the phone like that. The phone shuts off on its own and always restarts on its own. When i called apple to purchase the phone they picked up right away took my credit card info and told me go to the apple store in queens mall and you won't have to wait just pick it up. When i got there they couldn't even find my order in the system and i waited for over an hour and half in the store. Ive been trying to reach out to apple for the past 2 weeks and always waited over 45 min each time and got un patient and hung up. Today i called apple back and spoke with a supervisor after 30min her name is brandy. I told her my problems and instead of being professional and trying to make a customer happy she decided to tell me they are busy and that i should understand that.Then i said I'm very upset with the service and the way she's talking to me and that i would leave bad review so she hung up on my face. This is not professional you don't hang up on someones face. I was never so disappointed in my life. SWITCH to samsung less headaches with customer support and product!!!!!! My visit was a month ago but I just wanted to leave a review. The staff is nice, but I had a horrible experience. I set an appointment time for a battery replacement because my iPhone 6's battery was basically consumed. Besides the battery, it still ran quickly and could be used so I didn't want to spend more than $700 on a new phone. There is a slight bend in the frame that looked rather insignificant and when I brought it to the genius bar, AFTER a forty-five-minute wait past my appointment, they told me it was "significant and irreparable damage" and that I would have to buy a new phone. Totally ridiculous. I ended up just going to an independent phone repair place and got it fixed with no issues for half the price. I would've liked to get my phone repaired by Apple because I'd be much more confident in a repair done by a reputable company and had no qualms about their repair price. Instead, I was just totally frustrated by their slow service just to tell me something that wasn't true. read more

The staff here seemed unhappy about their jobs and had been very impatient to answer our questions. They kept everybody who needs technician help outside even when you already known what you want to do.(for us we have visited Apple Store early this week and just decided to get a new one). The single worst Apple Store I've ever been to. Inattentive staff that do not know what they are talking about. Asked an employee about a model of MacBook Pro I wanted and the individual knew less than me about the model. Waits are shocking since there are so many employees seemingly doing nothing. I love this store and it's instructors! They are knowledgeable and attentive. They are also very flexible in answering questions people have about the devices other than the subject of the class. The place does get very crowded in the afternoons. So it's better to get there early. However they can text you when your turn comes up, so you can go take care of other things instead of waiting in line. read more

I came to this apple store because I broke my iPhone screen. A guy took my information and told me I will received a txt when a tech genius available to see me. I waited more than an hour and still no txt received. I went to the store and wait inside. There's more staff like 20 getting people information for appointment, and I think there's only 5 staff working in Genius Bar. Obviously people are waiting for more than 2 hours now. iPhone staff are not genius enough to hire more person in Genius Bar than staff who are just wondering around the store. Hate that all Apple stores give you the same perception which is that you are over staffed for no reason. There are more associates on the floor than technicians which is pointless considering the fact the majority of their customers that walk into the store are to repair something since apple products are not the most durable thing. I came in telling them my SIM card was stuck and just needed them to take it out, he informed me it was about a 40 minute wait. Fine. Then he tells me he will text me when they are ready to see me, I looked at him and said "how are you going to text me when i just told you my phone is not working". He said "oh, so just come back in 40 minutes". As a customer and as a retail manager I hate to feel like you are not even listening to what my problem is. This review is about Employee 1236071166 I believe his name was Eric. I have owned my I-phone 6+ for a little over a year. This was my first I-Phone. One afternoon my phone just went black. No reason, just died. I called my carrier and they basically told me that my warranty was up, I had no Insurance and they could do nothing and that I needed to purchase a new one and Oh by the way I wasn't done paying for it either (still had about 280 left on monthly payments.) I took a leap of faith and decided to go to the apple store first before i splurged on a new phone. Upon walking in, I had no clue where to go. It was crowded and there was people everywhere. I walked up to on employee and asked him to direct me, which he did. I ended up on Eric's line. He was SUPER nice. He was helping another gentleman but also tried to multitask and trouble shoot my phone as well as the other man's phone. He was so knowledgeable. He went above and beyond to help me. I just switched from using an Android to iPhone. I came to this store to have an issue with my iPhone connectivity with the internet. While it was an interesting experience going through the motion of waiting for my reservation spot to be called, what I went there for was resolved in no time by a very competent guy (Johnny Yip). YES. They finally opened one up in queens and now I don't have to go all the way to fifth avenue just to get something repaired. I came here to see what they could do about my iPhone 5 that I had. The screen popped up and battery was so bad I couldn't even turn it on. Even after 48 hours of charging. I got a battery replacement at fifth avenue before this started happening because same thing happened before this incident. I came here to check and the nice helpful lady said she could give me a replacement, free of charge. This was great. I also bought an iPhone 6s Plus gold online but after a week of use, I wanted to exchange it to rose gold. The staff was really friendly and helpful and were more than happy to help me. I left the store after 20 minutes of examination and preparing the iPhone. However, it isn't that big. Big enough to showcase all of their phones and accessories but not big enough to showcase everything, just like in fifth avenue. The staffs are limited and you have to approach one to be helped. My apple phone was just power off and dead during charging, I bring the phone to this apple store first day, they said they are too busy, appointments are full, come another time, I need to make appointment; second day, after I made appointment, they said it's about 1 hour15-30 minutes waiting time, but instead I waited 3 hours there! Meanwhile they keep saying somebody will come up to help shortly! When the "technician" finally come out, they start to diagnose what's wrong with the phone, after all kinds of ways, they told me "sorry, your phone does not response at all, it's totally dead, you need to replace the phone." They can not do anything from their end. I ask what's the reason cause the phone just dead, they said they don't know. I did not give up my phone just like that, I called many sources, one of my friend ask me did you try to recharge your phone? After checking the serial number on my IPhone 6 plus, I made an appointment for 8:20 pm on 9/15/15 for the Apple iSight Replacement Program Recall for the Apple 6 plus since accoding to the Apple website, my phone was eligible for a replacement. I wasn't accommodated until 8:55 pm. I've never waited more than 5 minutes in Manhattan and Westchester. I told the technician what I was there for and he just looked at me and said that he'll take a record of my serial number. He doesn't know about the recall and pretended to do some tests on the phone. At this point, I told him that the phone works, the recall is about blurry pictures. I've already wasted 50 minutes at this store and decided that perhaps I'm better off in the city. Do yourselves a favor and do not patronize this store unless they train their staff. Clearly upsets the Apple image. I've never encountered such incompetence in my Apple experiences. read more

Extremely bad customer service. Makes no sense for them to refuse apple returns from online order. I only had 1 phone bought pre-order. Took them almost 4 weeks to deliver. The website clearly indicates returns are valid for 2 weeks after delivery date. But guess what, the store manager told me it must be 14 days from the purchase day. How in the world does that make any sense at all, i didn't receive the phone until almost 25 laters due to apple shipping!? They were almost pushing these online customers out the store, acting as if they are an entirely different company. And that online apple store is not part of their company. The manager even said "the online customer service are wrong, they do not know what they are saying". I have done enough research, all stores should be able to process refunds. Apple company really needs to monitor this Queens mall Apple, they are really damaging the brand in many ways. Stay away from this location. They only care to take money, and no love for any return and gives you grumpy attitudes. They would lie straight to your face and make false statement. read more

I've been to this location twice and each one was a waste of time. The employees that work in this particular location are poorly trained and managed; and I say this with over 10 years of retail experience, 6 of which are in management. The employees are extremely over confident and don't answer any of your questions. For example, I came in because I had switch from T-Mobile to sprint (the cut your bill in half deal) and for some reason my phone was not recognizing the sprint SIM card. So I went to apple just to hear a 20 min lecture on how it was impossible to switch from T-Mobile to sprint using the same phone. How would his be possible if sprint has this specific deal, which he "had never heard of", now anyone with a tv or smartphone knows about this deal because of the barrage of commercials they show. Needless to say I went back to sprint and they fixed the issue in less than 5 min. The next trip was because my fiancé's home button stopped working, of course it was going to cost him a ridiculous amount of money so the employee began to try to sell him an upgrade that would cost him $35 extra a month, but my fiancé told him several times no it's ok because of he upgrades in the sprint store it's only $7 extra a month... To which the employee actually began to do the math out loud.. Are you kidding me?! So all in all if your in the mood to waste your time and be snobbed by their obnoxious employees by all means go to this store. read more

Was sold a iPhone 6 with a faulty battery. When my ph started dying on me at 30-50% charge left, I called Apple to let them know and was told according to the serial number that the battery was faulty. I asked for a reservation and was told that I didn't need one that I could walk in and have it replaced. I went and checked in and they said 45 mins tops. I waited for 2 hrs and some, then they took my ph into the back room and came back 30 mins later with my ph saying they didn't have the battery and it had to be ordered. Complete mess up of a place. Only a few that have a clue as to why they're even there and what has to be done. I then returned 4-5 days later and waited another couple of hours and left with my ph with the faulty battery as they said there was a problem with their internet service. Still not resolved 1 mth later. Just spent another hour on the ph with more of the same. Now they can not replace or give me a reservation because they're busy with the holidays. I have to wait 4-5 days for a slot. No satisfaction whatsoever. Dont waste time there just by pass this location and go to the 5 th avenue store. Never had any headaches there.
