Love this shop! On two occasions over the holidays while in town visiting family, Joey had exactly…read morewhat I needed in the price point. I was looking for. Joey helped me find a versatile Cabernet Frank from the south of France on one of those visits. This was a particularly memorable wine because I was able to pair it with poultry and beef dishes for the same dinner. Joey's deep and broad why knowledge and his contagious passion for wine was obvious and invigorating. Highly recommend this shop right on the main drag in Normal Heights for your cellar, special occasions, and gifts. There is convenient street parking for two cars right in front of the shop. The shop is clean, well lit, well organized, and has great vibes. Joey loves serving his customers.

He said they only had 2 from em, I was looking for the pine berry and I asked if he had it and he said ya but it's almost gone. I asked to save a pk for me and he said he couldn't. I was willing to pay over the phone but still it was online only. I said I can be there in 10 mins can you please set one aside. He said no. I rolled the dice n raced down there only to find more selections from that brewery along with what I was looking for. I don't understand why y'all have a phone if one can not set one aside for pick up or to check availability of what's there. Carlos told me that peep would have things set aside only not to pay, so they stopped, but I was willing to pay. I get y'all are a mom n pop but show some mom n pop supporters the love a mom n pop shop would sheesh. I'm going to mcilhenney on Wednesday so I don't have to deal with Carlos again!

How have I lived here my whole life and only just now popped into Bottlecraft? We came on a Friday…read morewhen they were doing tastings from a Sonoma winery (wish I remembered the name!). The guy pouring was so nice and knowledgeable. We liked the wine so much we grabbed a bottle and decided to drink it there. Added bonus: since it was one of the featured wines, the corkage was free. Bottlecraft is a bottle shop, bar, and cheese shop all in one small, perfectly curated space. They have a lovely outdoor seating area and some indoor seating as well. There are TVs inside, so we were able to catch some exciting March Madness moments while we hung out. When we paid, the host was super friendly and brought us a little ice bucket to keep our chilled wine cold, along with two glasses, and let us choose any table we wanted. They have a wide selection of beers on tap, plus tons of bottles and cans to go. I also appreciate the large section of canned mocktails and NA beers -- love seeing that. They carry wine, beer, vermouth, and more. In the back, tucked away, is Venissimo Cheese, which is amazing. You can order cheese plates, sandwiches, and other goodies to enjoy with your drinks. Definitely check out their website for upcoming events and their current tap list. Such a fun, easy, local spot -- I'll be back.

They now have both indoor and outdoor seating, which makes it a great spot to actually hang out instead of just grabbing something to go. You can order beer or wine from their draft list and enjoy it there, or grab a bottle off the shelf and have them open it for you. Of course, you can also stock up and take everything home. Their beer selection is always impressive, with a wide range of styles and hard to find bottles, and the wine selection holds its own too. The staff is super knowledgeable and friendly. Bonus: Venissimo is inside the store, so you can order grilled cheeses and enjoy them with your drink. A solid beer and a perfectly melty grilled cheese is hard to beat. Great selection, relaxed vibe, and now an even better space to enjoy it all. Definitely worth a visit.

Been living in the area and I finally decided to check this place out! 2 times in a week! They got…read moresome great selections on craft beer! I love that they sell it by singles so I can try different ones to see if I like it or not! They also sell it buy the packs. Other than beer and alcoholic beverages, they also sell snacks and non alcoholic beverages. This place won my heart when I saw the people's choice beef jerky while checking out! I love that they also sell electrolytes here lol. One stop shop! If you're looking for puff bars, they got it here also! Very friendly staff, check them out! I didn't get a chance to take pictures but I will my next visit!

They have a friendly neighborhood vibe that I like-a lot of regulars kept popping in to play Powerball or some Lotto game. I'd only been in once or twice and it had been a while but I had time to kill before grabbing the kiddo and I'm trying to build up some alcohol reserves at the hizouse so I wanted to see what they had. It's a bit overwhelming considering I don't drink beer at all but I gravitate towards the fruity beers and found a peachy delish sounding bottle that I can't wait to crack open along with a 2 for $10 on a pomme lambic Belgian Apple beer that I imagine would be great in a beer bread or beer batter for frying up cheese curds, too. Yum, the possibilities! But, I digress. Anyway, I checked out and the guy said he was gonna get me a cup and I said ok cuz I don't turn down free. He came back with a beer glass that came with the lambics and put my two bottles on either side, called me a special customer and sent me on my way! But, before that, the other cool dude that had been singing Red Hot Chili Peppers with no shame was getting the info from me on some Cruzan rum drink I was asking about and letting me know that he would see about ordering it if possible. He took my name and number and I left a happy customer. I was thinking 'man, if he gets that drink for me, that would be really cool'. But I didn't think he would put much effort into it because I had only been in there once and we were only talking about a couple of bottles of inexpensive run here. Lo and behold, guess who leaves me a voicemail the very next day - Jon from Boulevard saying he found the Velvet Cinn and I could have it the next day if I want. I called him right back and found out it's only $5 more than in the desert and that's because he's only ordering a single bottle for me! I feel so special, lol. Anyway, I will definitely frequent Boulevard for my fruity craft beer and out of the ordinary spirit needs. Thanks for being so cool, guys!
