Ok so I know this is Applebee's but I just wanted to write a review because I was blown away by the customer service at this location. My mom and I were shopping and stopped in for lunch. From the hostess who greeted us with an open door, to the one who sat us and asked us how our day has been, to our awesome server (I believe her name was Ysari) the service was 5 star, truly. Bartender Tyler w. Was very unprofessional. Was in there having a beer with some Friends at the bar got there around 10:30pm since they advertise their late night hours! We were drinking tall glasses of beers around 11:40 i order another beer bartender says i will serve you a small Pint because we close in 15 mins, i question him Why! I took my small pint finished it and 5 mins before closing i order another one, he refused he said they were going to be closing! The restaurant was still open he walked into the kitchen to talk to his manager or someone, he came back poured me another one. If you are employed by any company and it says they close at 12am you cant close before, specially if their are people dinning inside he mentioned they wanted to Go Home already! As far as Applebees restaurants go, this one is pretty decent. The food isn't going to knock anyone's socks off, but to be fair, it's not going to drain your wallet either. Honestly, I think it's pretty good considering how little it costs you. Also, their drinks are pretty well priced come happy hour, and they have a great selection on tap. That's good enough for me. BAD SERVICE. BAD FOOD. A couple of my classmates met up here (not my choice fyi) for some happy hour and trust when I say I won't be coming back. My Main Street Margarita (Wild Berry flavor) was waaay too sweet could barely taste any alc. And when our waiter brought out my drink it was the wrong one so I had to send it back to him. ha.. I didn't order any food because I don't like their food to begin with. So I stuck with their chips and salsa which they couldn't get right either. Our first order of chips and salsa were fine, but when we got our refill the chips were so disgustingly salty. I even asked our waiter to bring us another batch of chips and he basically forgot. So i just said screw it I won't eat anymore chips I also ordered a vodka tonic as my next drink which took forever to get. I asked the waiter about my drink and he's like "oh yeah" and runs off to get my drink. I'm like REALLY?! Wow.. got my drink and it was sooooooo strong it was basically one big shot. Please think about rehiring your bartender staff because they obviously don't know how to make any drinks right. Pretty much the manager had to help out our waiter because he was no where to be found. The manager came around and asked how was everything and we said "good" and asked for boxes and to separate our checks which btw they didn't get right either. As the waiter came back and gave us our cards back he apologized for the lack of service and said he would get us on our next visit. I have not been to Applebee's in over 6 years and forgot how great some of their salads are. Had dinner here with my crazy 3 Aunts and sister. Our waitress Chelsea was awesome! She was so patience, because my Aunts are really crazy! They had some outrageous requests and she did her best to honor them. I usually don't eat dessert at restaurants but their blondie and apple cheesecake was SOOOOO good. Our hostess that seated us was kind of cute... I think my favorite part of the evenings is seeing her smile. Then I go on to having Applebees food in front of me. As the famous Charles Barkley says: "Tarrible!" Worst. Food. Ever. From what I understand, *some* of the best-tasting restaurants you'll generally find are usually the ones that give you artery-clogging food. This is only half-true with Applebees, with the exception of their food just flat out gross. I recommend playing it safe and just stick to the drinks, or if you're really hungry the fiesta lime chicken is probably the only thing worth ordering... and I tend to feel iffy just thinking about it. The service? "Tarrible!"... More than once have I heard our waitress having the case of the Mondays, and with all due respect I'd rather not have it rub off on us. I do take in consideration that on many occasions you will be receiving friendly service, however my last experience was terrible. Not really sure why we've given this place so many chances. The food isn't good. I can only remember having a good meal here one time. The portions are appropriate...for a dwarf. If you are anywhere near the average size person, you are likely to go home hungry unless you get something WAY overpriced like the pasta. Don't get the steak here...seriously, it seems like they feel they can call ANYTHING "Top Sirloin" these days. What a disappointment! The beer selection here is terrible. For a place with a wall dedicated to "hometown heroes", it seems odd that they gave the hometown brewery the snub...especially since nothing else they carry has any flavor. Stone Pale would be a much better offering than Red Trolley. Service here is pretty weak. It seems that the clientele consists mostly of people who are waiting to be told what to like. Not a huge Applebee's fan, but not because of the service. Came here for dinner with my Mom and younger Brother. Our waitress was super attentive, got our refills to us without even asking. I asked to sub the rice on the meal I got for a double serving of veggies and it wasn't a problem. I got the Cajun Tilapia which came with my requested double order of broccoli. The meal was somewhere in the neighborhood of 400 calories. It was super tender and actually flavorful. I also ordered a skinny mojito for a meager 80 calories! The skinny mojito doesn't pack as much as a punch as your standard mojito, but it definitely hits the spot and is what you would expect for a "skinny" version made with sugar free simple syrup. Then my Mom trying to blow my being good and ordering healthy streak decided to order a maple blondie for us to split. I had three bites. It was the most delicious three bites I've had in a long while. The blondie is served hot with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, and a side of this mapley, buttery, cream cheesy, type sauce. All in all this was probably the best Applebee's visit I've ever had. read more

I am not going to try and convince anyone that Applebee's is the finest food in the area. But, I can compare it to Friday's or Chili's. I really love the chopped steak and all of their burgers. The ceasar salad is great, too. The servers are almost always nice people that seem to try to deliver good customer service. I have been to other Applebees whilst on vacations/holidays previously including one in the Las Vegas area and previously LOVED the food. I had really been looking forward to eating here. However I found myself to be really disappointed. The meal I had was a steak dish. This was my error I guess as the only way to have a decent size meal is to get a burger in this kind of place. This was one of our favorite restaurants but the food quality has really gone downhill. Either they need a new butcher for their in house steaks or a new cook that knows how to cook them. I realize they are not prime rib or rib eyes but they are tougher now than they have ever been. Tonight was terrible even the ribs my husband had were tough and barely warm when they came to the table. I have had a favorite steak dish and have ordered it several times and they have always let me change out the roasted tomato for a different vegetable. Tonight Jennifer told us that they can't do that because the tomato is cooked in with the onion and gravy and can't be separated but she did leave the tomato out when served. I ask for a side of gravy, never saw it. Had to push button for server just to get a refill on iced tea which had been sitting on edge of table, hint hint. I'm really tired of these restaurants that brag about how wonderful their food is and then you walk out after $80.00 feeling like you have been taken for a ride. To top it all off, when we went to pay our bill it seemed much higher than we had expected. Our server had charged us for a second steak because we had returned one that was way beyond well done. When questioned we got an, "oops, excuse". Again we had not experienced that any other time an order was not cooked correctly. By the way the second steak was very tough as well but brought home for the dogs, I'm sure they will be able to chew it. Wow. Never actually thought I would be leaving a 5 star for an Applebees. This is our last place that we usually like to eat. However, it was 11:30 pm and there was not much to choose from so we chose it. First of all, my dad loved his meal, and he said he was thoroughly impressed. He had a skillet plate and it came hot and sizzling! Our waitress was very nice. I had the riblet things, and I would next time spring for the ribs. I am a very regular costumer at this location cus i live by the area and usually i enjoy my visit, speciatly when there is a final game like the dodgers vs boston one tonight. Last time i came Jackeline the server made me feel discriminated and embarased me infront of my hole family in my birthdate for asking for a substitution on chikn wanton tacos for a stake ones, i asked her to bring the manager afeter we had a loooong struggle by she telling me i didnt order it and that they dont do it that way, i explain her i usualy get them that way and that i was goi g to pay any amount for make it happen but she asked me constantly if i was feeling ok (made me feel as if i was drunk or stupid) and when i asked her for manager asistance she start fighting againg telling me: you look like you are not right , i replied just let me speak to your manager and she laught and walked away, i needed to ask one of her cooworkers pkease to bring manager and finally he showed up, all he did after all my explonation in the issue was a suggestion for a different server asistant with i agreed but when i paid check i asked new server whi was goong to keep tips and said same rude Jackeline was going to, i paid close to 80 dollars that night and left extra cash tio for new server. Took a break from work with my boyfriend and decided to try and catch some of the game on Sunday, chose Applebee's because the food is relatively good and they have tvs, so naturally we assumed we could watch the game. Upon being seated we asked if we could have our game on a TV and all the people who worked there said that they could not change just one TV because it would change about 5 more. We ate here a couple of nights ago and I can honestly say I was underwhelmed. It was late when we came in and we were very hungry, this created the final result that we never complained about the final results. We decided to order something from the 2 for $20 menu. We ordered the 7 Oz steaks with baked potato's and steamed vegetables. The house salads ended up being the best part of the entire meal. First, the vegetables came out under steamed and too crunchy and swimming in saltwater. The baked potato was warm but didn't melt the butter at all. The steak was ordered medium rare and was closer to rare based on the amount of time it took it to cool off after a few bites and it was also so salty I needed mass infusions of water. Had we not been so hungry we probably would have complained and walked out after the first bites. I just didn't want to deal with having to have our meal re done, waiting again and eating even later. So, anyways, I had a gift card to Applebee's. I didn't wanna waste it because you know, the best things in life are free. Here's what I ordered from here (all of them are to-go) Sriracha Shrimp- pretty good stuff but they definitely did not use the real sriracha on here. This would compliment beer quite well Boneless wings- have been eating this stuff since I was a kid and it still taste just as good Wonton tacos- sounds like an awesome fusion dish. Chinese and Mexican? Sign me up! However, I don't like this one here. The flavor is terrible. Texture is weird too Hot shot whisky chicken- I like this one. Very flavorful. Before I continue, I should provide a disclaimer that I am not, have never been and most likely will never be a fan of Applebees. Now I am not a food snob and I love the simple things in life. Cheap food does not need to be bad food however bad food should be cheap. I'm not sure if that made and sense but if you read it a couple of times it might grow on you. I've been here for lunch a few times only because I was in the minority with my group and this is the place they chose to go. The unfortunate thing is that their food tastes like bar food. Now I LOVE bar food typically when the price is right. However, when it is overpriced, that is where the problem occurs. I've been to HH at a different location and the prices are a bit more reasonable so if anything, I would probably go back for HH on my own without being prodded. Unlike other reviews, I've had no issues with the service as it has always been decent. This particular Applebee's location needs help. I had come to this location about a year or so ago because a co-worker bragged about their late night happy hour. Our bartender, who's name was Gio or something, was inattentive and complained to us about "being tired." I came back recently only because my boyfriend had a giftcard. This time we had a female bartender by the name of Mara who was just as outgoing as the bartender I had the prior year -__- To sum our experience up: -Bartender didn't know how to pour a beer; every beer she poured was about 4oz short. -My red apple sangria tasted like apple juice with a splash of red wine. -Food was inconsistent; my salad had plenty of dressing and my boyfriend's hardly had any at all. -Food and drinks were expensive for the quality.
