I placed an order online. DoorDash kept saying later times for delivery and I was very confused. Turns out the DoorDasher stole my food and canceled my order somehow. Be careful if you order online! I called Applebee's and the man I spoke to was very nice. He remade my order and made sure that the next DoorDasher would not steal it lol read more

I have never refused this Applebee's in Greenfield although I have had lunch and dinner here many times. A couple of weeks ago I stopped for lunch as I work close to here. This Applebees gets a bad rap sometimes but I have never had to pour service in here and this visit was no exception. I was seated immediately upon entering the restaurant and they made sure that I liked where they seated me. My waitress was at the table and a couple of minutes to take my drink order and let me know about their lunch selection. I saw some new things on the menu and thought I would try something new. I tried the Tex-Mex Lime-Grilled Shrimp Bowl: Grilled shrimp served over cilantro rice and salad, topped with guacamole, pico de gallo, salsa, tortilla strips, and a drizzle of chimichurri sauce. I definitely did not care for the guacamole as I do not like my guacamole the consistency of baby food. I really liked everything else. This bowl also fit in my diet plan. I will definitely continue to patronize the Applebee's in Greenfield. This is also a good spot when a group of us come to lunch. read more

We had a kind waiter, but my Bourbon St Chicken & Shrimp was a tad bit too hot when he brought it to our table. The platter was sizzling so hard that it spit grease on me about 3 different times. I feel a sore spot on my calf, that is probably going to blister from the hot grease. So I ate my brew pub pretzel sticks and half my salad, and waited til my food was done sizzling to eat the shrimp. We sat at the bar yesterday for lunch. Lee you need to take a MAJOR chill pill. The way he talks to his staff, and the customers can hear you I promise. I was embarrassed for the employees working. Lee you need to keep in mind your guests can hear you, there is a right way and a wrong way. Your running a restaurant, this isn't bootcamp. We almost got up and walked out. I'm sure that wouldn't have hurt your feelings. It would have only pissed you off, and the employees would have had to pay for it. Our food was ok. The grease needed changed, badly. We went to Applebees for a Sunday lunch with a group of eight people (with a variety of personalities). We received excellent service. Ashley W was very patient with our group and was attentive, quick with drink refills (we never had to ask), and was able to answer all our questions. She was friendly and kind and positive. She cleared out plates quickly but not too quickly. She was also good at upselling- suggesting other items. We smiled when she asked us "would you just love some..." and described some of the desserts. Really charming but not pushy at all- great balance! Our food came out quickly with enough time between the appetizers and meals. We thought the onion rings were excellent - perfect! The potato twists (like curly warm potato chips, lightly seasoned with a side of sauce) were also good and something you'd find at a street fair- not something I've seen on a restaurant menu. The nachos were also great (my cousin ordered them but it was a huge order so we all shared)- spicy and great warm chips. My chicken caesar salad was really good. Only one complaint- the menu said "basket of garlic toast" but what I received were actually bread sticks, which I probably wouldn't have ordered if I had known that. Everyone was really pleased with their meal. The service we received was really top notch from everyone, starting and ending with someone opening the door for us. My wife and I come there all the time. I took her there for her bday 5/21/20, and I don't know the waiters name, but he was a young black guy with a beard, he was the worse waiter ever. I asked him to bring some lemon for my wife's water.....that never happened, I had to ask a passing by waitress for it. He served our food, I asked him for steak sauce, NEVER brought it, I was finished with my drink before he served our dinner, he never asked if I wanted another drink or anything!!!! Terrible terrible service, this waiter needs to be in another career, because he doesn't care about giving good service. As a rule, I love Applebee's , but our service was so slow, the fries were limp and I didn't finish my Quesadilla Burger. On the other hand... my French Onion Soup was delicious. My hubby's tenders were good. We will be back, but I'll order the Chicken Tender Salad. Always great! read more

Their new bowls are actually very good, a nice change when you are tired of burgers and salads. This particular store has great staff who always treat us very well when we dine in; and, since they are the only thing open late in Greenfield, it's a great place for a late night meal. read more

We were seated right away in the dining room. Greenfield is open a lot more due to the fact that it's in Hancock County and not Marion County. Very few people are wearing masks in the three places I went into. We were quickly greeted by Heather who was very nice and she remained very attentive throughout our entire meal. The steamed broccoli was good, but I should have asked for a little butter or margarine. We both ordered the Fish and Chips. The chips are French fries of course. They were hot and the perfect amount of crispness. I was eyeing the three pieces of fish. I wasn't sure I was going to be able to eat all three, but I did! They were very hot and crispy. Too hot for me to eat. By the time I got to fish #3, it was cold and oh so greasy and mushy on the bottom. I took a napkin to absorb the grease as much as possible. That's just fried food. It was all good and I would get it again, but I would definitely take my own Tarter Sauce. I love Tarter Sauce, but not this sauce. It wasn't good to me at all. Service was good. Food was average. We wanted to go out to eat so we figured we would try Applebees. We haven't had it in a long time and we wanted to see what had changed. It seemed like the menu was way different before. It was my wife and son with me this time. My wife and I split the 2 for 20 meal she got a quesadilla burger and I got riblets. My son got the easy mac with mozzarella sticks. The service we had was excellent. Always refilling drinks and making sure we had everything. But the food tasted like it had been reheated in a microwave over and over. The riblets tasted like they had been warned my someone sitting on them. The taste was something I would expect from a TV dinner not Applebees. My wife said the same thing about her meal. Nothing special just kinda blah. My sons meal was Mac and cheese. And it was nothing special just Kraft easy mac you can make at home. So our Applebees experience was much like being at home but with good service. read more

Gave Applebees another chance tonight and was yet again strongly disappointed! First I ordered a white peach sangria which was brought out promptly - with a fly floating in the middle of it. Yes, talk about disgusting!! I asked the server to replace my drink and he did but never took the beverage off my bill and I'm sorry but if u bring me food or drink with DEAD ANIMALS in it then I do not expect to pay for that item. The service was slow as it always is - our server kept chatting w someone he knew sitting at the bar while I stared at him hoping he would see we needed refills, to go boxes, and a check. The food was decent - I love the wonton tacos but as I mentioned in my previous review, it really is best to get it to go. Horrible experience. Brunch burger didn't have bacon on it, which it should. Waiter said "it was infused in the meat"....WHAT!? No it isn't, it's supposed to come on a breakfast burger obviously. Came here with my family for my daughter's birthday. The service was subpar and everyone's food was fine except her grilled cheese. The bread was toasted on both sides (sandwich was not grilled) and had no butter, therefore making it very dry with a rubbery piece of cheese in the middle. It tasted even worse than it sounds. She did not take more than one bite. I told the server that we didn't need a replacement, but I wanted to let her know that we received a dry, toasted cheese sandwich, and the only thing she said was "Is she done with it?" Uh... yeah.
