It had been many, many, many years since I've been to a TR. I forgot how much of a "hoot" it was, even though we no longer have the freedom to spit peanut shells all over their floor. I had a failed attempt to dine at this location a few months ago with my extended family of 9 for my dad's birthday. The thing about TR is that they don't take reservations. When my brother and I got there, the hostess had to call a manager, only to tell us that the best they'll be able to do is to put us on the list and when the time comes, they'll have to possibly split us into two groups because they don't have large enough tables to fit the 9 of us. We were quite disappointed and had to take the business to a competitor across town. Needless to say, we didn't enjoy our experience then, but I also fully understand that we were a large group and that's just not their MO. Fine. Letting bygones be bygones. The most recent visit was slightly a smaller group of three, just me and my parents for Mother's day eve lunch. I can imagine it would have been slightly more difficult to get in during prime hours on the day of, but we managed to dodge the stampede this time around. Because of it, it was quite a pleasant experience. The thing that I'm sure everyone knows and appreciates about TR is the affordability. A nice steak plate with 2 sides and plenty of dinner roll refills only costs a couple dimes. I definitely see the appeal for a couple retirees like my parents to come when they're craving some beef. While not your top-tier fine-dining cut, USDA Choice cuts they serve are nothing to sneeze at. Both my parents and I had a great time there. When I'm out on a date, or an event that requires a bit more poise, I probably would opt for one of the other competitors. But for casual occasions, I think I'll give TR a bit more chances, when available. I say that because the closest one to my house is an hour away... lol read more

It has been a very long time since I have eaten here because I have been wanting a discount. Well the right discount finally came in an email. Buy one entree get second entree up to $15 off. So it was like $10 an entree. I dined in to eat a 5 oz. (wild caught) salmon, fresh, steamed broccoli & carrots, and a baked sweet potato with cinnamon. The carrots were a little white so I asked that with my second entree that the carrots would be steamed a little longer. I enjoyed my meal esp. the complimentary toasty rolls with cinnamon butter. For tomorrow's lunch, I ordered portobello mushroom with grilled chicken and the same 2 sides. Delicious. Not only do they give a 4 oz. bag of salted and roasted peanuts with to-go orders, they also now have moved to the same bag experience for dine-ins instead of the buckets which you throw shells on the floor. I have been to this location multiple times and it has yet to fail me. Customer service is great from the time you walk into the restaurant all the way until you leave out. My favorite part about this place is their rolls with the cinnamon butter OMG it so delicious. Prices for the different items on the menu are very reasonable. The only issue I have is parking. When I came the parking lot was full and it was hard to find a spot. I had to circle around a few times before catching someone leaving to get their spot. The restaurant is clean especially now that they give you nuts in the bag instead they used to put them in a container. My meal that I ordered was delicious and had satisfied my appetite. read more

We decided on dinner here last night. Texas Roadhouse is always busy so if you are in a hurry this is not the place for you. There are some things you can do to help it go a little faster and the online check in is one of those. You check in and it will tell you the wait is 20-40 minutes and to text back here once you are in the parking lot. I recommend staying in the car until they text you to gather your party and head to the host stand. Otherwise you will be crammed into a small space with others trying to get past you. Once seated our server came and got our drink orders. Love the sweet tea here. If you are a cocktail person they can only put 2oz in each drink so you will be drinking mostly overpriced mixers. Now if it's beer or wine then you are golden because you know what to expect. I got the 12oz ribeye and ribs, they were okay, but I've had better from this place. I got loaded mashed potatoes and those were phenomenal and always are. Usually the sweet potatoes are great but I have a feeling they were running out and flash baked the one I got because it wasn't completely done. My better half got the road kill (hamburger steak) with mashed potatoes and chili. No problem with that. They do have some good chili but be warned it's spicy. Our server was wonderful and attentive. It does annoy me on super busy nights they still do the yelling and screaming for birthdays and such which slows down service and adds to the noise of an already noisy place. Per the website it said if you have more than a party of 6 to please call to get on the waitlist. We had a party of 11. The person who answered the phone said they would have to talk to the manager. They said we won't be able to sit together. We asked if they could at least try to put the two tables close to each other. They sat us on completely opposite sides of the restaurant even though there were tables across from each other that opened on both sides. We asked them to move us and they wouldn't even attempt to accommodate us. The manager was not understanding, friendly or helpful. Food and serve: usually, the steaks are seasoned right on but tonight they were extremely bland and the service was subpar. We asked for extra gravy and didn't receive it until our meal was almost gone. The rolls were smaller than what they used to be, the salad was smaller, and they don't give you as many mushrooms and onions when you ask them to smoother your steak. Texas Roadhouse is a really good establishment with some great customer service, a fine atmosphere, and some great food. I've had their burgers, shrimp, corn, fries, and steaks and they have always been very good. I will say though that the wait is always tedious, the establishment is a little messy, and it can be very crowded. But if you go in on a day where it isn't busy then it would be a great time. I've been coking to Texas Roadhouse for 15 years. We ordered 4 meals this night. We ordered our steaks smothered with cheese. My roadkill comes With it. When my sons came out it didn't have cheese or crazy. So I asked. The waiter told me They don't do that on steaks just on the roadkill. Funny thing is the poster saying otherwise was above jour table. I pointed it out and he just walked away. Also order a side kick of ribs with my meal. It never came. I asked about it and was told someone dropped it. They would be bringing it asap. It never came. I had to grab a manager and ask her. I told her about the smothered issue and the ribs. Of all the restaurants I've visited in my life ... this is one of them. I'm not the right person to ask about Texas Roadhouse, because I don't like steak, and I don't like domestic beer, and I don't like modern country music, and I don't like restaurants where they sing to you when it's your birthday. But all of these things happen at Texas Roadhouse, and if you're a fan of these things, then you'll probably enjoy this location. This Texas Roadhouse in particular was poppin' on a Friday evening. There were lots of people here, and even more waiting to get a table. This location is set off a ways from the main road, and even still, it was very busy. My salmon was pretty good, but a little salty. Everything here is very salty. It's expected. Oddly, my salmon came with a side of tartar sauce. I've never in my life thought to eat salmon with tartar sauce, but bless their hearts. I was a sport and tried a bit of tartar sauce with my salmon, but then I put it aside because salmon and tartar sauce don't belong together. But like I said, bless their hearts. I also got a caesar salad, which was fine. It was very cold, which was nice. They have these little tablets at the tables with games on them that kids can play. My kids were ecstatic when they saw the tablet -- they played a golf game and trivia game, and it kept them occupied until I needed to take the tablet away so I could use it to pay. That's another thing that's nice about Texas Roadhouse: You can just pay on a tablet, and you don't have to wait for your server to take your payment and run it and bring a receipt and blah blah blah. They forgot my shrimp with my steak but that's alright, not holding that against ya'll. Overall, just take from this review that y'all need some VARIETY! If I could give them a zero I would. We had a large gathering of 11 who wanted to sit together (obviously) and per their sign in store and website they say that they will accommodate large parties with an extra wait time. We called ahead to do this but were met with very rude customer service and told we would likely have to break our party into two groups to which we said we would be happy to wait for a table or two tables near each other. When we check in at the hostess desk we were again told we would have to wait, which we were totally fine with and after much frustration on their end they told us we could not sit together. After speaking with the manager at the end of our meal I learned , from her that despite their sign and website saying accommodate large parties they do not REALLY but could give me zero actual explanation as to why. We were clear in what we needed. Called ahead of time for them to accommodate our large party and still they did not. The food was so under seasoned. The music was so loud. Overall it was a terrible experience and I can't even believe after the many conversations the didn't even offer to comp even a meal. Worst customer service I have EVER had. We had a wonderful waiter named Isaiah. He was very attentive and saw to our needs very efficiently and proactively at times. We also had several other helpers that came and helped. There were also very friendly and helpful as well. The orders were fried pickles with an extra side of ranch Tonight pickles were thinly sliced as opposed to the thick slices that are usually usually there and I liked these so much better. The breading was nice and thin and they tasted really good. Then I got a 12 ounce ribeye with cooked perfectly with that little bit of marbling and a little bit of fax. I had a side salad with ranch on the side and a loaded baked potato. I did have leftovers, but it will make an amazing lunch tomorrow so I'm looking forward to it. My daughter had the chicken breast with barbecue sauce, a salad and the green beans. We did not decide to have dessert because we were already full and satisfied with the meal that we had. I was meeting some coworkers for dinner, something we had planned in advanced and were COUNTING down the days to when we could have Texas Roadhouse. We talked many times throughout the week about how we couldn't wait for the rolls and how we love everything TRoadhouse. The Friday came (April 19), and we couldn't have been more pleased with our experience. Morgan was our server, and she absolutely went WAY above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed our time. She let us spew out our drink orders/food orders in excitement as we apologized for moving too fast and excitedly because we knew for days what we were going to order. Mainly the rolls and she kept our baskets full without having to ask. She was friendly and personable and attentive, the exact waitress we needed to top our evening off to being such a great Texas Roadhouse experience.
