This was the worse service I have ever experienced. With my family working in the food service industry for over 15 this by far is the worse we have ever seen and experienced. It had taken more then 20 minutes to receive drinks, 3 waters and 2 sodas. As the table after us was seated they got their orders taken, drinks served, and FOOD served all before we even had our orders taken. They legit made me wait for 30 minutes which wasn't a problem, and after the notification i came with 1 minute and about 15 seconds and they said your gonna have to wait for another 20 minutes. Me: table of three please Hostess: that will be either 20 minutes or 40 minutes It's impossible to tell Me: ok well do you think it will be closer to 20 or 40 minutes? Hostess: it depends on if the kitchen blows up. If the kitchen blows up it will be 40 minutes Me: are you expecting the kitchen to blow up? Hostess: yes After our 40 minute wait during which there were several open tables, we were greeted by our friendly server. I ordered a small plate trio: quesadilla, sriracha shrimp and crunchy wings. Opening thoughts -- Unless you're going here to drink (which I don't do) or as a last resort to "hang out," you're better off going most other places instead. Been here an unfortunate amount of times with my friends and rarely am I ever pleased with the food or the service. Service -- It's really hit or miss. Doug is good people. He doesn't suck and is usually on his game. And maybe a few other servers. But Ryan SEEMS like an arrogant, miserable douche. So unless you are likely in your 30s or much older, he's probably going to be less than delighted to be your server (and it's pretty obvious) since he anticipates getting tipped poorly. It's gotten to the point that not only do myself and friends plea with the hostess to not sit us in his area, we often hear from various other workers that we're far from the only ones that don't want to be around him. It's a shame for him, because we usually tip very well, even on small orders. I've even tipped when all I've gotten was tap water. As for the food -- I don't know if it's the fact that we usually go after 10pm (typically for the discount appetizers), but the food is just edible and forgettable almost every time. Unless it's really bad, which is never forgotten. They make a pretty decent burger and chicken sandwich, but generally the fries they come with are not very good. Most other items I've tried on the menu are... ehhhhh. The desserts are also good, but it's really hard to make a dessert taste bad. Almost forgot to mention -- if you ever, EVER plan on going here on a Friday or Saturday night (and likely Sunday for that matter), be prepared to deal with an obscene about of ignorant, annoying high school and middle school students. It's pure agony. I'm only 24 and I feel like murdering myself as soon as I walk in there on those nights... but I suppose it's somehow better than sitting at home doing nothing. read more

Good neighbor! My wife and I went in for the 2 for $20, which was tasty and served in a very friendly way by Dominick. The chicken wonton appetizers are out of sight good. My wife had a quesadilla burger, which was good but a bit peppery for her taste. I had the 9 oz steak which cost a couple dollars more, but there was not one scrap of waste. The garlic spinach was right on. To top things off, the next day I went to use the debit card I had used to pay with, and it was missing. This was me and my family's first experience at this particular Applebee's. Only reason we rated it a one star is because that's the lowest you can go. Right from the moment we walked in, my fiance playfully said something about the Jersey the host was wearing she rudely kept saying to him she didn't care. After we were sat at our table we had odd glances at our table by most of the staff and our server took very long to at least come to the table and introduce himself. Then when he finally came we gave him our whole order and he didn't write anything down, which usually is a sure sign that your server knows what they're doing. But... He had to come back to the table several times to confirm our orders. When we finally got our food, I am not able to eat as much as some others so I asked for a box and he asks me," That's all you're going to eat?" I responded with, "I can't really eat that much." And he followed that with, " Yeah but you practically ate nothing...." So I explained that I had surgery which he tried to tell me he knows all about...you don't know all about it unless you had it which he in fact didn't. Everyone there is extremely rude. Will never go back to this Applebees. We went on a Friday around 6:30 for my grandfathers 93rd birthday to keep him busy on his birthday not thinking about his wife who passed away 2 years ago. The waiter was very friendly, helpful and tentative and the food was delicious although small portioned. The problem I had was the atmosphere and experience of other guests. Every table surrounding us was filled with high school kids screaming at the top of their lungs, standing around us and bumping into my grandfather! One kid even said to the waitress "yeah b****, it's about time", when she brought their drinks out after telling her they have little money so she shouldn't expect a tip. Management walked around multiple times and said nothing to the kids. This is my first one star review but I think it's appropriate. After waiting at a table for more than 10 minutes without being acknowledged by three servers walking around the empty restaurant, we decided to sit at the bar. We sat there for more than 5 without being offered an appetizer or drink deal and after asking for just waters, we got the dirtiest looks from the bartender. i wish i could give this place 0 stars it's so bad don't bother. i got food poisoning from just eating the pretzel sticks with beer cheese and a mac and cheese. Are you kidding me? They forgot an item after paying 28$ for my full meal and then gave me food poisoning the next day. i was throwing up all my insides and ended up having to skip my day trip to PA drive all the way home just because my stomachs would not let me stop throwing up. The doctors said it was definitely from what i had over at applebee's. Eat at your own risk. never coming back this place is gross and disgusting. Also i came in with a group of 8. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GO SOMEWHERE BETTER. Went last night with my mother. We didn't plan on going there but I had heard good things so we went. Boy were those people wrong. We get there and are told to wait 5-10 minutes (which turned out to be 25). Right off the bat after being seated we notice 2 tables around us were very unhappy with their visit and were complaining to the manager. One even told us goodluck when they left. Lol. We kept a positive mind set and the night continued. We ordered the combo appetizer, we never got plates. I had to ask the bartender for some when he brought my drink. We finished out apps and had the plates piled on the table. (We had a small table for 2 people). When our dinners finally came a young lady came and shoved them on the table with no room and rushed away without taking the old plates. How rude. We then noticed they forgot the sauce my mother had asked for so we flagged down out waiter and told him. He as well went to rush away without taking the dirty plates that were clearly taking up the room on the table. But we caught him before he could and asked him nicely if he could take them. To wrap it all up, we watched him do 10 other things and forget the sauce. Never came to check back up on us. I understand being busy. But when it takes 1 minute to go grab a sauce you would think would prioritize that over taking the orders of the table of 13 that JUST came in and other tables continuing. Eventually came back and we asked for the check which took 20 minutes then he went to walk away after placing the check on the table. I will never be coming back to this Applebee's ever again. First off, I put my boyfriends name down and they say 15-20 minutes. Okay that's fine, normal wait on a Friday night. When people start coming in after we've been waiting for 15-20 minutes and get seated before us that's ridiculous. I went up and asked where our name was on the list and multiple parties of two below us were seated and crossed off below ours on the hostess's list. I asked if it was because my boyfriend and I looked young and the manager didn't know what to say but storm past us and the girl at the front couldn't give us a reason as to why parties of two after us were seated. It's amazing the service you receive when you "look young". My money is just as good as anyone else's. We finally received seating and the manager tried to apologize and we were explaining back to him why we were upset and he just walked away. I didn't know you treat customers like this. I should of just got up and walked out honestly. Giant waste of my time and money overall. The food was horrendous. Mozzarella sticks tasted like they were cold and from the microwave. But tonight my family was eating there and I imagined the soup cup would be filled. What a harsh disappointment when my soup was brought home. There was barely half a cup of soup inside and the nacho pieces had been thrown inside. Two almost empty cups of soup. Had it not been 11 pm, I would have gotten dressed and returned for soup owed to me or a refund. Your store was paid and your staff must have not been trained in measurement of you rip customers off who trust you are doing the right thing. No more orders without checking first. We have been here a number of times because its local and Applebee's has a good name for food and service but this location is not living up to its standards. The quality of food is just never the same some days food is great others it horrible and Someone has to get in there and run that kitchen I order wings all the time mainly because Applebee's makes a great hot sauce but they cant cook basic chicken wings! Some days they are ok but most of the time they suck. Over Fried and Chewy! Chicken is not there strong point at this location I have also ordered grilled chicken dishes and it comes out the same over cooked. That said the management and service is very good always taking my complaints and remaking my order, Which I hate to do! Mainly because it never comes out any better the second time! We are over going to this location for awhile maybe they will improve on the kitchen staff and improve the quality of food being served. We shall see. read more
