    6 oz sirloin with corn.

We visited Texas Roadhouse today for Father's Day. My adult son and I drove down to visit Dad (80), and we took him and his wife (79) for lunch. They chose the place, and I certainly was willing to go along because I had been to a different Texas Roadhouse and really enjoyed it, so I thought this was a good idea here. It was extremely loud, and I think that might have played into part of the things that went wrong. However, my Dad's wife didn't help things. She had a coupon for a free appetizer and kept insisting it meant a free appetizer for everyone at the table, not just one. I understood it was for one but she was argumentative with the server and a manager. It was ridiculous on her part but I think it flustered the server. Anyway, we ordered. I picked the small sirloin, rare, with Caesar salad and corn. When it arrived it was perfectly rare and quite good. My son ordered the country fried chicken with mashed potatoes. He asked for brown gravy on the potatoes but the regular country gravy on the chicken. When it arrived they had put brown gravy on the chicken. He was disappointed but didn't send it back because he didn't want this outing to drag on. Dad had steak tips with a house salad, enjoyed everything. His wife ordered steak kabobs with mashed potatoes instead of rice. They brought it out on a bed of rice but included the mashed potatoes in a bowl on the side, and she complained about the rice being on the plate. They had bread when we first sat down. I don't eat bread right now so I didn't reach for it, but apparently they didn't include the butter which started another round of complaints. Her free appetizer and her free add-on of ribs were packed to go. Was the food good? I thought mine was. My son was disappointed. I think Dad enjoyed the food. No one can ever tell with his wife.

We recently came here after work on a Wednesday evening. We got there around 530pm, which was the perfect time, as we were able to get a table right away. I love that they serve you fresh warm rolls with cinnamon butter. These are so delicious. The highlight of the menu here. Can't eat to much though as they will fill you up lol. For our appetizer, we ordered the rattlesnake bits. This was another great choice. Loved the jack cheese filling inside them along with the diced jalapeños. Now for our main meals, we tried the sirloin steak and ribeye steak. The steaks were good, but nothing spectacular. They were cooked medium, seasoned well, and tasted great. Exactly what I expect from a chain steak restaurant. We had a few different sides with the steaks. My favorites were the chili and steak fries. Overall, a solid steak house here.

This is my favorite Texas Roadhouse location. It's always clean and the managers go around to every table to see how things are going. All the workers are visible and working all over. It can be very loud but they are always busy so that can be expected. The food is cooked to however you ask for it and they have amazing steaks. The shrimp are also great! I especially love the chili. I ate it so fast I didn't even take a picture of it.

Came here on a Friday night and had a short wait to be seated for a group of 4. As always, the bread and cinnamon butter were delicious and several baskets were polished off. We appreciated our server bringing us extras so that we could take some home. I always get the chili and it hit the spot. My cousins felt it was very heavy on the salt and pepper, but it was still satisfying. Unfortunately, my pulled pork entree was horrible. It was not "pulled" at all and resembled large chunks of meat. They didn't have much flavor and the only sauce provided was a small container of BBQ sauce on the side. The meat itself was dry. I could only take a few bites before giving up on it. I might come back, but this is definitely an entree I won't be ordering again.

Place was hopping so we sat at the bar, which had immediate availability. The bar tender was excellent. Ribs, bbq chicken, shrimp with salad and sweet potatoes. The house salad is one of my favourites as it has chopped egg and cheese. The food was really great. Shrimp were delicious but just a little salty. Great experience and definitely will return.

This was my first time ever going to Texas Roadhouse. It was decorated very cute which I appreciated. We got to watch the birthday song and the bull you get to sit on that was very cute. For appetizers we got fried pickles which were addicting. I wish I could have endless amounts of the fried pickles. I got 7 oz sirloin with corn and mashed potatoes. The mashed potatoes were amazing. Our server Evenel was very sweet and friendly. She went above and beyond. I will ask for her again the next time I go!

We ordered medium rare Hand-Cut Sirloin, Ribeye steak, Rattlesnake Bites with fries, mashed potato, chili, and beans on the side. The steaks were juicy and tender just the way I like it. Service was alright. We waited quite a while for the person to bring us the forks and napkins... It's packed at night, best to make a reservation. Overall, I enjoyed eating here and their food was well cooked.

It had a side of roasted elephant garlic, which my husband absolutely loves, so I couldn't NOT save it for him.But the thing is, they took it away without asking me if I wanted to pack it or not. And I brought this up, not once, not twice but -- 3 times-- with the wait staff. When I asked one of the waiters what the manager said, He replied " I'm not going to lie, I don't remember" Before I left, I asked my server if I could speak to the manager-- The manager finally met with me. He said that he was "trying to find you to give you my card" because "he did hear about the incident and he feels really bad." Mind you, even after I spoke to the first person about this incident, we were there for close to another 30 minutes (at least). Sitting at our table, having dessert and drinks . No one came back to address the situation, no one offered to make another plate of food for my husband to make up for the food they accidentally threw away. He offered his card, but I declined because I will not be going back. Honestly, poor service and optics for a high-end restaurant, at best. If you're used to high-end haute cuisine and have an eclectic palette, I'd skip this restaurant. If you want "the usual" nice-enough restaurant with good with a decent-enough ambience-- this is a good-enough place. For me, a place like that-- with "standard fare" cuisine, should have above average service. That's where they fell short.

We ordered the porterhouse, creamed spinach, calamari, baked clams, the jumbo baked potato, and some pasta. The porterhouse was perfectly seasoned, and it was enough for three people to share. Whatever sauce the baked clams were doused in, I need that recipe. I used the complementary bread to soak up some of that juice and it was amazing. Their espresso martinis were also really good and strong. The only thing I did not like was the jumbo baked potato. It just felt like there was Velveeta cheese slathered on top, so if there's an item I would pass on, it would be this one. Just get regular mashed potatoes. The service was amazing. The owner came out to meet with us multiple times. Our waiters were very attentive and gave us ample time to order. They literally cut our meat and served it for us. The ambience was really nice. A Steakhouse With History, Character & One Seriously Good Steak!…read more We recently visited Strickland's Steakhouse in Woodbridge, and now I completely understand why this place has earned accolades in both 2024 and 2025! From the moment you walk in, it's clear this isn't your typical steakhouse. Strickland's is located inside the former Woodbridge National Bank, and the restaurant has done an amazing job preserving that old-bank feel while turning it into a sophisticated dining experience. The décor is fantastic, with plenty of memorabilia and nods to the building's past--including some fun pieces highlighting the era of old-time bank robbers. There's something interesting to look at everywhere you turn. The main level features a full bar with plenty of seating, including booths if you prefer a more casual dining experience. But make your way upstairs because the second level is something special. There's plenty of room for larger gatherings, while still having an intimate feel that would be perfect for a date night or special dinner. Let's Talk About the Bread Service! We started with the Bread Service, and honestly, had I known what was involved, I would have taken a video! This is more than just someone dropping a basket of bread on your table. The server actually prepares and smokes the specialty house butter right at your table. Talk about dinner and a show! You can customize the butter with different ingredients, including brown butter, bourbon, and sea salt. The presentation alone makes this worth trying, but the butter was also absolutely delicious. The Star of the Show For our entrée, we went with the Elite Prime Dry-Aged Filet Mignon, an incredibly tender 8-ounce cut served with truffle shiitake butter. WOW. The filet was cooked beautifully and incredibly flavorful, and that truffle shiitake butter took it to another level. Tender, rich, and absolutely mouthwatering. This is the kind of steak you take your time eating because you don't want it to end! Sides We ordered two sides to share: Bourbon-Glazed Brussels Sprouts -- with diced bacon and Parmesan. The bourbon glaze added a nice touch of sweetness, while the bacon and Parmesan brought plenty of savory flavor. Creamed Corn -- with crispy chorizo, chives, and panko. Creamy, flavorful, and definitely not your ordinary creamed corn. The crispy chorizo added a fantastic little kick and texture. Dessert Of course, we had to save room for dessert! We finished with the House Bread Pudding, served warm and topped with ice cream. Warm bread pudding + cold ice cream is a combination that never disappoints. It was the perfect way to end an already fantastic dinner. Shout-Out to Henrique! A big Kudos to our server, Henrique! He was fantastic from beginning to end--super friendly, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations were spot-on, and the way he described each dish made you want to order practically everything on the menu! Great service can make an excellent meal even better, and Henrique definitely helped make our experience memorable. Final Thoughts Strickland's Steakhouse is more than just a place to grab a steak. The historic setting, unique décor, creative presentations, quality food, and excellent service all come together to make this a really fun dining experience. Whether you're looking for a great date-night destination, a place to celebrate a special occasion, or somewhere to meet up with friends, Strickland's is definitely worth checking out. And now I understand those accolades from 2024 and 2025--they're well deserved! Great steak. Great atmosphere. Great presentation. Great service. Highly recommend Strickland's Steakhouse if you're in the Woodbridge area!
