Happy hour is amazing yes, but the service sucked. By the time she brought my ranch my wings were cold. I came with my family and they sat us in cocktail. We did not ask for that. Due to graduations they were not letting anyone sit in the dining room I'm guessing. But overall food was great just the service really sucked. She forgot everything!! Amazing service!Went here with a family of seven the service was very quick and everyone was very friendly. My Chicken tenders took maybe 5 minuets longer to come out of the kitchen than the rest of my tables food. I had no problem with the wait but the manager Anna W. took amazing care of us with so much hospitality she was definitely the sweetest woman. I visit Applebees on Madison, in the City of Murrieta, during the end of May . I ordered the quesadilla burger. The presentation was beautiful, but while eating the burger I Bit into it to bite down on a piece of metal. I am too done, I would say it could have happen to anybody, but I am the victim, I went to the hospital and dentist where they found Applebee to be at fault for my injuries. I say right under a camera in the restaurant for them to see it was their negligence. They are so giving me the run around. I hope everybody's checking their food at Applebees and wherever their eating, it's an unfortunate situation, but they need to take care of business. They need to know it's not alright to serve metal to someone, and get away with it. read more

Never again!!!! When I eat at a restaurant with a wait-staff, I expect to be waited on. When I handed the waiter my credit card, he told me I could pay the bill myself at the table. I told him I preferred that he take care of it. He then proceeded to use the little console at the table and make me enter the info. WTF??? What part of "I didn't want the do-it-yourself experience" did he not understand. Perhaps I'm old fashion, but when I have to be part of the "service", the tip will go down. Had a bad experience last Friday. Waitress got attitude towards my kids. We asked for refill of drinks, after 20 minutes , gave us the billing statement instead. Did not fully explain where we suppose to sit for happy hour. Ended up not giving her tip...this psycho waitress waited for us in the parking lot and questioned my wife if she did bad service and why we did not leave her tip. Very threatening voice on a dark parking lot. Scared what this bitch can do.. Ended up reporting her to the manager on duty. Hopefully she's fired or we're never coming back. read more

Well I heard about the dine for two special. You get an appetizer and two meals for two. Started off with the chips and spinach dip. The chips were really greasy and the dip was too. I cant remember what I had for dinner but I'm sure it was okay. Its very similar to Chilli's, which I am not a big fan of. I don't think I will be going back. Food is decent, but far from exciting. Service here, while not horrible, is not good. Always takes a long time, and once the order is taken, never see our server until they bring the check (someone else brings out the food). The one in Temecula is much better and actually worth the drive. read more

We have been been to this Applebee's on Madison in Murrieta many times before with mediocre to fantastic service, but sorry to say we had the worst experience this evening at this location. We were seated immediately, the hosts were friendly and cordial and said that our server, Henry, would be serving us. Within about 5 minutes 2-3 tables cleared around us. A group of three were seated about four tables away near the windows and were greeted by a server (not sure if this was "Henry") who took their beverage order. Clearly it was not overly busy for a Saturday night around 6pm and Henry had not come by our table to acknowledge us or offer beverages. Fifteen minutes later, still no Henry, and no beverages. Another seven minutes passed and we decided to leave. As we started walking towards the door a gal, who may have been the manager, asked if everything was okay. We told her that we had waited too long and no one came to our table. She offered to comp our dinners but we declined - it would be too uncomfortable to eat and digest food after all this. Needless to say, I really do not like leaving a bad review. The food is good but they will need to step up their service and get all their servers on the same level. We will not return to this restaurant for a very long time. read more

This is one of my favorite places in the Murrieta/Temecula area. The food is always on target. But what really puts this place ahead of others is the staff. On every visit we've been impressed with how friendly everyone is and their ability to make us feel welcome. Getting back to the food -- I know this is a "chain", but somehow they seem to make the meals something special. Not just the presentation, but the combination of ingredients as well. For the money (and they are reasonable in that regard) it's my first choice for food, service and a nice cozy environment where you can actually share a conversation. read more

Went for lunch with my stepmom and sister in law about a week ago. Our waitress was great and attentive. The food tasted great as always. The only problem was the sharp two inch PACKING STAPLE from the box the salad is packaged in that my sister in law pulled out of her mouth after a bite of her salad. Luckily she only had a little cut on her gums but it could have been much worse! Especially considering she was sharing her plate with my 1 year old nephew. The first moment I walked in I noticed the wonderful aroma. Good food, service and atmosphere. I had cedar salmon with spring veggies and red potatoes. Very tasty and just the right portion. Just waited 40 minutes for our food order. I complained to the manager who was very apologetic and stated they were down a cook. Stuff like that happens and she accepted full responsibility which is rare these days. Also the Texan burger which I waited for was really good. I will definitely give them another shot. It's okay. We came in before the dinner rush on Saturday. The service was actually pretty bad but I think it was because they were understaffed. Food took a good forty minutes to come out and the soda tasted flat and unsweetened. I'll be back, I'm sure they just had an off day. But beware of slow and inattentive service. read more

Worst experience I've ever had we were there 2 hours never got food but yet we were seated immediately. The server forgot to put in our order and after letting us site for a hour he tells us this then the " manager " comes over laughing and tells us the same thing. Then they said we put a rush on your food not the case because it took almost another hour and still no food so we decided to leave so I flag a different server because we can seem to find ours and tell him we want a check just for the drinks and cancel the food so a different "manager " comes over and apologizes and take my card to pay for the drinks after getting the receipt back I realize I was charged for 3 drinks when there was only 2 of us. So needless to say I'll never return and I advise everyone to stay away. read more
