I got the 3 shrimp dinner...the same as above + shrimp linguini with a loaded baked potato. All really good! This is by far our go to best dining place. The food was decent. I'll be honest, Red Lobster is just so-so for me. It seems like it's very overpriced for the portion sizes. When they have the endless shrimp deal, that is worth it. I ordered some popcorn shrimp and the salmon dish. The salmon dish was nothing special. I loved the popcorn shrimp though. Crispy and satisfying. The mozzarella sticks were hot and gooey. I absolutely love red lobster, it was a childhood icon. All locations where I live closed down so we drove to Temecula to have a taste of the past. The first time we went was exactly 1 year ago. We were almost the only ones in there yet it took longer than it should've to get our food. The food was great nonetheless, just like I remembered. We had a great time. About an hour and a half later I was violently ill. I swore I'd never go back. A year later I'm back again. Hoping it was a one off and that maybe there is new abd better staff. When I walked back to the bathroom there was an unholy smell coming from bathroom area and what seemed like the carpet. I tried to brave iy anyway but then my table was completely sticky, like juice had been a smeared over the whole table. My waitress was really really nice, I appreciate her greatly. The food however took way too long to come out. After waiting an hour and seeing that two tables that came in before us still didn't have their food, we decided to just leave. I wish they'd put the old favorites back on the menu as well, but I'm sure with this crazy inflation their hands are tied. I'm really sad to have to give this place a 3 star. read more

It's a shame you now have to add $3+ if you choose the salad as your side when it used to be free. Come on, Red Lobster -- it's just a salad! Yesterday, I decided to try something new and ordered their seafood boil. I chose the Signature flavor (all the flavors mixed together), and it was okay. I asked for level one spice, and I definitely felt the burn on my tongue and lips for a while. I got two snow crab clusters for around $36. The crab was meaty and cooked perfectly. This location is 100% RACIST. The last time I came here, they sat us in the Black section. Basically, they grouped all the Black people together away from everyone else but I couldn't prove it was truly racism. This time they just flat out refused to serve us... with smiles on their faces. The Diet Pepsi tasted great, really fresh tasting (I'm a Diet Coke kind of guy) Our server was fantastic. We got the bag with lobster l, shrimp and crab legs with Cajun butter. The corn was good, we added sausages ( a little steep for $6.99?) for one IMO. Potato's were cute too big, a little underdone. The biscuits were hot and fresh. It's a little run down; the men's bathroom is an outdoor portable...didn't ask but felt weird to walk outside just to wash my hands. We visited Red Lobster in Temecula after a 45-minute wait just to get a table. Once seated, we waited another 45 minutes and still never received our food. We asked the manager multiple times about our order, and her response was that she had "no idea" where it was. Later, we were told the waiter had left and that the food would come out "when it was ready," even though the restaurant was close to closing and we had already been waiting a very long time. What made this especially disappointing was that I'm pregnant and had been looking forward to this meal as a craving. After wasting nearly two hours, we finally gave up and left without ever receiving our food. To add insult to injury, the manager still charged us for a Diet Coke despite the terrible experience and lack of service. We ended up going to Olive Garden instead and had our food within 15 minutes. Overall, this was an extremely frustrating experience, poor communication from management, and a complete waste of our time. The last time I visited a Red Lobster was approximately 13 years ago. I was curious what they offered for their crabfest and wanted to try their seafood boils. Both the Mariner's and Sailor's Seafood Boil were tasty. If you like garlic, I recommend getting the garlic butter flavored boil. The portions are best suited for 1-2 people. It appeared to be a long wait, luckily I made reservations. Definitively worth the time to reserve ahead of time. Although there was plenty of seating, they seemed to be short of staff unfortunately. I ordered the fish and chips with a baked potato instead of french fries the two pieces of fish were in edible the fish so hard inside you could not cut it not flaky a very strange gummy texture. In a way, it's a bit sad to see an iconic American restaurant like Red Lobster losing its popularity and becoming something other than what it once was. Although our last couple experiences have been disappointing, we came back for the crab fest. The service was not what it should be, losing some of the basics. As just one example, the plate of 1 lb of crab came but Red Lobster had ran out of the crab crackers needed to eat the crab. About 15 minutes later they were able to wash and get us the crackers. By that time the crab legs were cold, we asked for them to be warmed up. After a while, the server took our crab legs, came back with the crab legs still cold but with a warm plate. Asking again to get our crab legs warmed up, the server needed to request special permission from the manager. Eventually, they took and brought back those same crab legs warmed up. What we miss the most, from the former Red Lobster - the cheddar Bay biscuits (once delicious). Nowadays they are semi-tasteless and beyond dry. It's been a while since I've been here but I have to say the service and the food has gotten better since the last time. The table side service was a very nice addition. I would even say the deals have gotten better, especially with 5 dollar drinks and those flights look so amazing. I will be back to try. I will say our drinks were on point though. Deep your meat in that side sauce and it will surprise you how good the boil is... ALL AND I MEAN EVERY BIT OF THE MEAT WAS COOKED PERFECTLY... Train your staff when there are hour changes, nobody should be picking up the phone if they don't have proper info... I called around 6:30 to see if the restaurant would be open the next day (Christmas) unfortunately the girl said they are from 12-9pm, she did have to go ask... I say unfortunately because working on a holiday sucks... but anyways, during this call I said "Ok I'll need it sooner than that so I'll just pick up tonight. You close at 10pm correct?" My experience with Red Lobster is going downhill each time I eat there. This time I only ate here because I had a $10 gift card to use. ON this day, Nov 1, I ordered the two lobster tail (you can substitute the tougher rock lobster for another Maine lobster tail), and two sides. First of all, I live in San Diego and Red Lobster closed the only two locations in the City of San Diego. So I stay at an AirbnB sometimes in Temecula and have people to eat with in Temecula. Last year I ate at this Red Lobster with my property manager Eddy. He paid for about 5 people(his family), and myself. But in fall 2024 I bought Lobster Lover's Dream for an employee in his office because she just passed the exam for her real estate license. It cost me $71 for Lobster Lover's Dream, including tax and tip. On top of that she got fired 4 months later. In paying for Eddy's employee's dinner, and ordering my own Lobster Lover's Dream, they no longer include the Caesar salad as a free side, you have to pay a premium for it, on this date Nov 1, 2025 $3.49. You have to pay $5 MORE if you want lobster in your fettuccini, otherwise you get shrimp, when before the lobster was all they had and it was included free. An THEN, the Maine lobster tails USED to be 7 oz, but today Nov 1, the server apologized that they are only 6 oz. Eddy gave me his receipt for that night, totaling hundreds of dollars, so I could add the points to my rewards. But I did not know, that Corporate Red Lobster at that time 2024 told me that" I can never accumulate 125 points, because upon doing so, the 125 results in a piece of chocolate cake". I was shocked that Red Lobster Corporate spent my points immediately (when before I could have a choice of 3-4 items that I instigate the time and choice I pick) for each 125 points, and forced me to have the chocolate cake reward. I am diabetic and do not even eat dessert and can't eat chocolate, so Red Lobster blew away my points spending hundreds of dollars for 3 pieces of chocolate cake. Also I get same for my birthday, so I never come in to eat that. After that, I no longer try to get 125 points. Later, 2025, it turns out they offer 3-4 choices again, 3 savory items and 1 dessert. Well it turns out it isn't MY choice to pick, it is Red Lobster's choice, and they always pick the cheapest, and FORCE the dessert on met, and I don't eat dessert. So you can see to ME, I am NOT rewarded for eating at Red Lobster. The lady I ate with at this Red Lobster last night, told me her father just ate here a week ago. When she asked her father how was his dinner, she told me he said not so good, because Red Lobster made so many changes that make you pay MORE for items that used to be included in your entree price, and all the prices were soooooo expensive, already. No wonder Red Lobster closed both San Diego locations, so no more Red Lobster in one of the largest metro areas in the nation. Red Lobster also closed my favorite location which was about 1.5 miles from my Scottsdale house on Scottsdale Road and Obsorn Rd, next to the Olive Garden, years ago. They built apartments there now. So sad. The first set of dinner rolls were stale and overcooked. The salmon and shrimp were okay, not great, but okay. The lobster was cemented to the shell and would only shred out with a fork. The coleslaw was soupy and swimming in dressing (I didn't touch that). The broccoli was mush. That was just my meal. My husband's mashed potatos ball was dry and starchy along side of his coleslaw soup. I got the feeling that all of the cooked food had been taken out of the freezer and put in the microwave. It was a good portion, but the Cajun butter flavor needs improvement as it doesn't compare to Boiling Crab or CrabHut. The chocolate wave dessert was a surprise! I really enjoyed it! The chocolate was delicious without having it be too sweet, which balances out well with the side of vanilla ice cream. My partner really enjoyed the crispy brussel sprouts. They were crispy on the outside and had a sweet and savory flavor to them. The restaurant is outdated and needs a revamp. The wait times for the food took some time as well. We got seated right away but it took awhile for sometime to come by. It also took awhile to receive our food. We waited around 45-50 minutes in total until we received our food. The clam chowder cup (forgot to take a picture of it) was okay, didn't really have much flavor to it. The Parmesan crusted chicken was just okay too, the chicken was good, but I think would have liked it better without the sauce on top of it. The baked potato was bland even though it had the butter, onions and sour cream on it. The brussel sprouts were good but to rich, I could only eat a few of them and they were an up charge of about $3.49 more for them as my side dish. We walked in about 10-15 min early and the hostess told us they would sit us closer to our time. That was fine and we looked at menus while we waited. I was pleasantly surprised to find the food has improved. We ordered the Ultimate Feast for husband and I to share. It was a LOT of food! Lobster was a nice size and very good. Filet was tender and juicy, though a bit salty. Coconut shrimp was crunchy, cooked perfectly. Enjoyed the loaded baked potato. Their ayce shrimp deal is great! I was eating that deal when it was 20$, now it's 25$. I suppose losing 11 million in 1 quarter immediately requires upping the price, buy even at 25$ their still losing a ton of money. My fav of the shrimp has to be the asian themed ones. We were greeted by a friendly gal, sat accordingly and waited on by Jen. She was a great waitress. I loved this place because of her. Both of us had the Shrimp (all you can eat) for $27. It was $7 extra for the clam chowder. The linguine with the Alfredo and shrimp, was amazing and my favorite. There was also, coconut shrimp, Asian shrimp, shrimp on a skewer, and shrimp scampi. I ordered a fish and chips and fish looked and tasted like it came out of the frozen box and it was overcooked, the fries left a lot to be desired. But the service was really great. This is my second bad experience. The first was in Oceanside. Will not be back to a red lobster. read more
