I went in for the Won Ton Tacos during happy hour. They were delicious as always. I did order a couple of drinks from the happy hour menu. The only problem I had was the menu prices are very deceptive. Just because it's on the happy hour menu doesn't mean it's on sale. My advice is ask how much it is so you don't get misleading information from the "Happy Hour Menu ". For example a dollar more for a double did apply to one of the drinks on the menu. I don't mind paying more but I do mind being tricky menus. read more

Let me tell you how mad I was the first time I came to this restaurant. The manager was a total jerk he came to our table to lecture us about not being able to alter drink options. Our server at the time was also clueless and had to go to him every five minutes to answer our questions. She also never carded me and that manager had the audacity to lecture me about alcohol laws and mixed drinks. Tonight Gaby and Melissa changed our whole perspective. They were absolutely amazing. Gaby was training Melissa but both showed great customer service. Gaby was respectful and carded me and even though I didn't have my ID she gave me great choices to select from. My boyfriend got the Bacardi bucket and he said it was delicious. I got the steak with shrimp on the side and it was so goooooood!! My 10-year-old daughter was treated like a young lady and they were both patient when she ordered her food. Gaby is an excellent example for perfect customer service and honestly deserves a raise for her kindness and compassion alone. Melissa was wonderful as well and is in great hands being trained by Gaby. Additionally, my daughter forgot her backpack and both of our servers ran out to make sure she got it! There is plenty of parking, on the inside it's your typical casual chain restaurants, but I'm not complaining as I wouldn't eat here if it was a problem. This has become my favorite happy hour place. I always sit at the bar and order from the happy hour menu and get a brew to wash the food down. My favorite? They have the best boneless buffalo wings! Better than Buffalo Wild Wings or Wing Stop! And there's enough to fill you up. Their mozzarella sticks and quesadillas are both very good too. As for service, the staff there are all friendly and the people seem to enjoy working there, something you no longer see in a lot of restaurants. After about 30 min they brought our food which consisted of 4 riblets and frys! This took no time to eat because these are so small so we ordered refills "all you can eat"! About 15 min later they brought out a small plate with 1 riblet on it! For every 15 min you get 1 riblet! We sat there for 2 hours and barely ate what would count for 16$ worth of food. I asked to talk to the manager, Sebastian who was the most condescending gas lighter I have ever met! He acted as if he was nice at the same time as being an asshole! I asked him what was the deal with the promotion and that if we would have ordered the regular dinner we would have got more riblets and he confirmed that this was right! The all you can eat is for people who want to come to Applebees and stay for hours on end to get all they can eat! If you want quantity, this is not the promotion for you! It was the most idiotic thing I have ever heard! My mind was blown! Not only was this guy the worst manager I have delt with but he mocked me and my concerns! This promotion is to get you in but they don't want to waste their food to feed you! They bank on the fact you will leave before you even eat the amount of 16$! This place is a joke. In 2000 it was decent but I was also young and dumb. This time the service was good with the host and the server...until it wasn't. She came by and asked how we were doing while we were waiting for our food. It was 30 minutes (no joke there was a football game on) before I decided I needed to be less polite. The server at some point showed us how we could PAY for the food we didn't get or press the button to call her. Well that button was on for one quarter 15 minutes. NOTHING happened. Other waiters walked by and nothing. At some point, AFTER I saw other people get their food who came AFTER we did who clearly complained to get their food. I was finally able to get her attention. I told her how we were leaving bc I SAW our food given to her by the host asking whose it was and she looked confused then took it back to the kitchen. She then said she was sorry for the confusion and that she messed up the order and GAVE IT TO SOMEONE ELSE. Didn't even try to make an excuse. Just straight said she was going to get the manager (who first apologized to the people who came after us). After another 10 minutes the manager FINALLY showed up with HALF the order in a to-go bag. Didn't even try to get us to stay. I told her how I saw our food get taken away when the server was confused. I made it very clear that we are not paying for anything. The manager then said she paid for it. I don't care who paid for it but it wasn't going to come from my pocket. She also went on to say that my part of the order (I was with my Dad) had never even left the window. My Dad's order went to someone else. Yeah, not making me feel better. She didn't stop there, then she said that half my order was going to take another 4 minutes bc that's how long it takes the fries to cook. That she just put the order. I said "ok it's been a minute. Because Google won't post my review I'll put it up here too. I ordered the steamed broccoli for my 10 month old son who has a dairy allergy, we specifically asked the waitress to double check that it was safe for him. She said it was and it was just steamed. We even checked the allergen menu online, on the Applebee's website, and it confirms there is no milk. Fast forward about 5 hours, he wakes up in the middle of the night, screaming in pain. So I call the restaurant to just ask in case of cross contamination is possible, the hostess I spoke to said the manufacturer that the food is ordered from, pre-cooks the broccoli, in BUTTER and then sends it to the restaurants. Completely contrary to your website and what we were told while in the restaurant. My wife proceeds to call the restaurant and is told from the manager on duty that it was our fault and we shouldn't have let him eat it. He also proceeds to tell her that nowhere does it say the broccoli is dairy free and she must be making it up. This is completely unacceptable and disrespectful and a complete lack of customer service and professionalism. I need someone to reach out to me and confirm that this situation has been handled: the manager and the waitress have been corrected and properly trained on both customer service and food handling in regards to allergens, and the online menu has been properly updated to reflect current and accurate allergen information as this could have sent our son the the hospital or worse. No other family should go through what we did because of inaccurate and sloppy information. read more

Would suggest visiting other locations of Applebees, have not had great service at this location. Third time that we ordered salad with Thousand Island dressing and were told they were out of thousand island, last visit 4-10-2025 we told waiter we wanted salads before meals, took them 20 minutes after taking our order that they came to the table to say they were out of thousand island. Also took approx 35-40 minutes for our food to come out. Restaurant was not that busy. read more

I ordered takeout this evening; a chicken strip plate and two cocktails, one long island and one vodka cranberry. When I arrived home, I tasted both cocktails and neither had alcohol in them. When I called the restaurant, I was told the "the bartender said she put alcohol in them," but let's be honest. There is NO WAY to not be able to taste any alcohol in a Long Island. I couldn't even smell any alcohol. It was just sweet and sour and a splash of cola. The person who answered the phone offered to get a manager, but I sat on hold for over 15 minutes. The sad thing is, less than a week ago I ordered a Long Island and it was great! Exactly what I expect when ordering a "top shelf" drink from Applebees. I love this location! Everytime I come in here and sit in the bar, every bartender is the best service and great drinks. my fave is Fred, me and my friend come in for Wednesday afternoon happy hour and he's attentive and makes a good drink! My other fave I don't know her name but she's a white girl who cocktails in the bar area and she is just the sweetest every time we have her I will continue to come back to this location just because of the staff I made a mistake of goin to the Lakewood town center location and was disappointed and showed why I can't stray from my faves! Me and my wife took our daughter and her husband out for her early birthday dinner we ordered some appetizers and food. The service was horrible as hell. One of their servers brought out an appetizer that we were waiting for when they handed my wife the appetizer my wife informed the server that the plate was extremely hot and it was burning her fingers, the server looks at us like we were lieing but after she put the plate down she felt the plate and also agreed that the plate was extremely hot didn't apologize or anything of that nature. So when we asked to speak to the manager about what happen to inform him of the situation he came over and was being rude and disrespectful say stuff like "she didn't mean to burn your fingers" when we never stated that at all and after we paid for our dinner the server proceeded to talk crap about my wife calling her a liar not to mention their was hair in my daughters food when she was eating it. Our waitress, Katelyn, was the one who really made our experience wonderful. She was friendly, professional and even helped us make a selection for dinner. Her customer service was exceptional! Fred K earned this place an extra star; he's a great server who is always just caught in the middle. Really cares about his job and providing a quality experience. The restaurant in general, however, could definitely use some improvements. I've lived in this area my entire life, I've frequented this location since 2015 (I use to come in for the food worker industry special when I worked in food service). I always bring someone with me. Every. Single. Time. I've been here in the last few years my order has never been right. I always have to ask for the food to be taken back and corrected. This time I waited for an hour for entrees because they were busy during happy hour, which I get, but why would I wait another hour for another steak? I got offered a free desert for the trouble, but again, why would I wait so long when the apology is for the wait and my items still coming out wrong? At this point, I'm done spending my money on a business that doesn't seem to take the time, care, or effort in making a good experience for their customers. I left upset, had to walk out to my car at one point to cry, and didn't eat anything but 6 boneless wings for my app the entire 2.5 hour stay.
