Sometimes its a hit or miss with the staff there, but today we had the nicest waitress named Iman. She was amazing! Polite and friendly from the very first moment we were seated. Took our orders promptly, was super friendly, got our food served extremely quick and regularly checked up to see if we were doing okay. Hands down best service I have gotten at any Applebees! She even made sure our french fries were the crunchiest just like we wanted. So nice. highly recommend this place..if you get her as the waitress. Honestly Im only giving it 3 stars because my husband loves their greasy nasty food but I dont like burgers and fried stuff like he does. I would give this place a 2 star for their food or maybe 1. I let her know when she finally came around to give us our bill and never offered to to get a manager and take it off the bill. I only took three bites so a majority of the food was thrown away. Not a great experience. We just stopped in to get something quick before the movies. We came in sat at the bar waited and watched another couple sit down and about the time they did the waitress walked right by us and straight to them to get their drink order... By the time she came back with their drinks she noticed we weren't helped yet... Then the wait time for our simple order of wings took forever. Ordered takeout for lunch a few days ago. Got to the restaurant to pick up my food and was not acknowledged by anyone for almost 5 minutes despite staff walking around the restaurant. If Apple bee's didn't have such good happy hour prices I really would never go here. Servers really don't seem to ever be on 'top their game'. Drinks usually take some time to come over to our table, even when we sit in the bar. The only people that really act like they value the guests are the managers ...and maybe the server we had for awhile every time we came in and remembered us as his customers - unfortunately he no longer works there. Then a couple other times, I have seen servers sitting at tables talking with customers (looked like family/friends) but I still think it is very unprofessional especially when I see her other tables being neglected of their needs. I haven't been to an Applebee's in a while, but can someone please tell me what happened to their Neighborhood Nachos? They used to be so delicious and the portions were really big, but when we ordered ours yesterday what was presented to us was very sad and not enough for two grown adults as an appetizer. In addition, there was no flavor and the chips were so hard you could easily break a tooth. The rest of the food was good, but the nachos again were a big disappointment. read more

Aside from my favorite bar tender leaving, this location has had the best customer service I have experienced in along time. The waiter staff is friendly and interesting to talk to. While the wait for to go orders is a bit longer than I would like, the quality of the food is still smiling ectacular. I give only three stars because of the wait time for food. Also, I give three stars because while I understand one cannot control the quality of the customers that wish to be served,the quality of service shown to them can be. A few nights ago an incident that could have been handled quietly ended in the manager yelling across the restaurant to call 911 because a young man refused to do something. The whole place did not need to k of there was an issue. I was sitting right across from the customer I question. He posed no threat to anyone or himself. There was no reason for the yelling. I ended up feel very uncomfortable and left without first is hang my meal. Focusing more on my present experience, bar tender Ryan is not only cute, but also funny and very helpful. The mash potato was just a whole baked potato that looked like they used their hands to squish it flat. All the other parts around it was really dry and not good at all. My handheld "Triple Hog Dare Ya" was missing any pulled pork.So instead of re-making they just brought out some on a plate.Then the server said he maybe can take something off the bill for the mistake. The server came out from the kitchen 3 times and told me three different items were out of stock. So of course I pick something I didn't want. I've only been here maybe 5 times? After we were seated, we weren't offered a high chair for our daughter who's 1. So she sat on the bench next to us. The mashed potatoes seemed to be the boxed flakes that you add water to, because they developed a hard coating over the coarse of me eating the rest of my meal and became rather spongey and weird. I couldn't eat them. The shrimp was gummy. I ordered a happy hour bloody Mary and it was okay, but nothing to write home about. No complaints about it, though. We had 4 people in our party and they brought out the first person's meal a good 5 minutes before bringing the second. The third arrived, no joke, 10 minutes later and the fourth meal shortly after that, but what the heck is that about? Bring them all at the same time. A woman sitting next to us was goo gooing over our baby and introduced herself to us and opened up conversation about her business. The manager came over and asked her not to do that which I understand, but thought was rude given the fact that she actually had been talking to us a long while about our baby and had clearly wanted to make casual conversation as a friendly person. In a restaurant full of empty booths asked for a booth and was cut off while asking to get told no it would 10-15 mins wait for a booth . Though seconds later a couple came it that was taken right to a booth . She said they needed to be clean which was bs the the table we were sat at was filthy . She just didn't give a damn . Next I would make the mistake of going in the bathroom I work in construction and the bathroom here would give a honey bucket a run for it's money in filthiness . Wish you could put ZERO stars because they deserve NONE! My friend went to Applebee's LAST WEEK and used her government issued I.D to purchase some drinks. Obviously her time there was as fun as it can get at Applebee's. The following week, we return for cheap mediocre drinks. This starts out with trying to stuff 6 people into a small booth with a chair at the end. Great start. Then, when asked if we'd like to purchase drinks they asked for our I.D's. The same friend that was there last week, handed her I.D and was refused drinks because the corner of her I.D was bent. After closely scrutinizing all of our I.D's my friend was singled out. I could not believe this. He said it was policy. We asked him to show the I.D's to his manager and we were STILL denied drinks. The waiter's name is Antonio and the managers name was Paul. My mom and I were Christmas shopping at Southcenter so we stopped here on the way home. We ordered the onion rings as an appetizer, I ordered a Pepsi which was very weak. My mom had ordered a diet Pepsi and there was so little flavor I thought hers was mine. I ordered the BBQ brisket tacos which came with seasoned fries and coleslaw. The menu said the BBQ sauce would be spicy although I thought it was very mild. The tacos were delicious, and in my opinion is the best thing on the menu. I couldn't cut it and I took a bite of it and it hurt to swallow. It took them 20 min to bring two waters and a Margarita. The manager had a little attitude with me and it's like seriously.!?
