This location of Applebee's (and most locations) always seem to be on the small side. We came on Veteran's Day for the free meal for my husband. The place was an absolute zoo. We were nice enough to have someone make room for us at the bar since we had a flight to catch out of town. The bartender tried to be both a server and a bartender so we were often neglected. It took a while to get our food due to the backup as well as our final check so we could leave. I don't think I've seen the place so busy before so it must've been due to the promotion they were running. Happy Hour was going on and it was just average. I haven't been here for a while, but I wanted to try the Texan burger. I ordered it without cheese or BBQ sauce, and it came out with both. I sent it back, and I figured I'd have to wait a long time for another one, but they said they'd put a rush on it, and it really did come out quickly. It turned out to be a great burger. The brisket was good, and the chopped onions made it slightly reminiscent of White Castle. I love the new buns - they're really hearty and flavorful, and still slathered in butter and perfectly toasted. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, too. I got the order to go, and I like that they're putting the fries in paper bags now so they don't get soggy in those plastic or styrofoam takeout containers. read more

Before Buffalo Wild Wings & Wingstop, this was our go-to spot!! We could never pass up the happy hour deals! I'm one of those people who orders just appetizers HAHA! No shame. (Half-off on certain appetizers during happy hour) My husband & I usually order bone-in chicken wings w/ sauce on the side (10pc/order), onion rings and the chicken tacos. It has been a year since I last visited. We came in at such busy time (9:30ish) especially with their dollar margarita promo going on. It was jampacked with people! We we're told it was going to be a 45-min wait but it only took 20mins. Our server was very attentive and nice. Mind you, he was running back & forth taking care of other tables but he managed to get all our orders right and served in a timely manner. Today, I visited my local applebee's and the bartender (I think her name is Anara or Anhara?) She literally told me to go sit somewhere else because she refused to serve me. I did nothing but walk in and sit down... I hadn't even ordered, yet. It was grossly unprofessional. And it was during regular business hours... I don't know if it's just this location or if they're all the same but the food can be a big hit or miss. The hostess sat us down pretty quick but the waitress Jenn was so out of it. She forgot several items she was supposed to bring us and it wasn't even busy. I really didn't enjoy her service or the food that much. Just updating my second experience with Jenn. My family and I went to eat here and our waitress Destiny was not really there. When we got there is was not that Business. When Destiny brought our drinks my husband asked Destiny if we could have a High chair and she look at us huh then walk away to give her other table there drinks. The highlight of our experience was our server, Larry the Table Guy! He was amazing! He was new to the restaurant but was attentive, personable and helpful. I hate giving any establishment a negative review, however I can honestly say that I have nothing good to say about this Applebee's and experience... Except that the hostess was nice and she clearly was paying attention to the door and incoming guests. Our waiter was "Jake". He NEVER brought us water or had a busser bring any out. When I inquired the drinks he lacked information and remained disconnected and uninterested in my inquiry. I asked if I could order a margarita with (a shot) of Malibu (knowing I'd pay for the extra shot) and he stated, "margarita's are made with tequila." ??? I KNOW that, everyone knows that, but I may not add to a drink? He continued his rude, "I wish I didn't work here, why do I have to serve this table" attitude throughout the visit. Eventually we were able to make our order. (I stayed safe by ordering a menu item drink with doubles... Still confused him.) My drink sat at the bar neglected sweating condensation as I went to the restroom, much after ordering, returned to my table and still waited. After some time my "double Bahama Mama" made its way via food runner. It was so gross. Tasted like canned grapefruit juice and extra freezer burned ice with a metallic finish. No trace of liquor. Odd! We waited for our food and my husband's water..... And waited. I saw a manager and walked across the restaurant to informed him that we hadn't been given water yet. (In a 45 minute time span). The water came out with only some of our appetizers. The appetizers were shrunk down to bite sized portions... And we never received the third item ordered, which I had to further harass the manager about-embarrassing! My hubby asked for a side of sour cream for his quesadillas the ONE time Jake passed our table, in which we had to stop him on his way to stand by his podium. The reply: "it's going to be $0.50." No thanks! Not very redeeming. The food was scarce, service nonexistent and all together awkward. I left HUNGRY. We had to flag Jake down and request a bill. (Our table's tablet thing was dead.) And we over heard a table behind us ask for sour cream and the response from Jake was, "that will an additional 0.60." Why would it be 10 cents more for them?!? Did I mention it was NOT at all busy? Even if you didn't get yo'self all drunked up at (before) the Yelp Elite party the night before you should NEVER eat at this Applebee's. Bleh. The oh-so-helpful host had to look around the joint for oh, maybe two full minutes to check to see where he should seat our huge party of two in the half empty room. Great start already. We decided to go with house salads and a couple of appetizers - the potato boat thingies and hot boneless wings. Oddly enough, our salads came first - not too shabby actually...But the rest was totally mediocre. The wings were almost disgusting and the potato skins came with maybe 2 tablespoons of sour cream piled on top of shredded lettuce - it was almost impossible to separate the two, not to mention they sucked a whole lot as well. Even with the sour cream they tasted like bad potatoes. The most annoying part was when our meal was done we sat there for a good 15 minutes with our server nowhere to be found - he must have taken a break and decided that even though we may have places to be (I had an appointment on the other end of the business center) that we could afford to wait for him to get back. All in all, not a great first impression, Applebee's - I don't think I'll be back, even for your delish looking desserts. read more

Had lunch with a friend and her six year old son. The booth we sat in was very spacious. I'm not a tiny person but I felt like one sitting in that booth as the table was about a foot away. It makes eating your food less enjoyable as you would have to sit on the edge of your seat to reach the table. The service was friendly but slow. My friend's son had chicken nuggets and fries and my friend and I had the brunch burger. It was actually a really good burger. It had a beef patty, cheese, hash browns and a over easy egg. I would order this again. My complaint about this place is that the food comes out very slow. We waited for our food for 30 minutes. We got refills for our drinks and that again took 10 minutes. My friend's son then wanted a milkshake and that too seemed to take forever. It wasn't like the place was packed so I don't know why our orders took so long. It was pretty aggravating. I'll give it another chance but if it is just as slow, there are other places to eat at. read more

We hadn't been to Applebee's for a while because it was not that good the last time we were there. Well, we decided to give it another try tonight. We got seated right away, our server was very attentive but not too much so. Our water and my wine were served prompt. I had the Chicken Parmigiana, John had fish and chips. I have to say both dishes were very good. I can say mine was exceptional --so good, John enjoyed his too. Our waiter Volcan was the best, so super nice. I've got nothing against Applebee's, my boyfriend and I go to the one by my house all the time. The, one time I decide to venture out with my friend, we end up hating the experience. The only thing we enjoyed about this place was the dessert and that was because it meant we could leave right after. I won't say the issue was the wait. We waited for out table for a long time We waited for our glasses of water for a long time. And we waited for our server for a long time, many times throughout our dinner. He, if I remember correctly, would leave in the middle of us asking for something like extra napkins or for sauce or anything and then not bother to return until later when we aggressive had to flag him down. I get that weekends are busy and he had plenty of of other people to serve and that's fine. It is hard to divide your attention? I'll be fair about that. The real issue was that my friend's meal was delivered to her uncooked to her liking and when we addressed our server, the manager came out and gave us attitude. Luckily, my friend remained polite enough to finish the dinner so we could leave. But, trust me, we haven't returned since and we certainly don't plan to any time soon. Came in for meal for two, but got a bill for a party of 5! How the hell does that happen. The waiter didn't even think twice about fixing the matter and asked if I was ready to pay. I told him to get me the manager and will not speak to anyone else and I will not pay this ridiculous bill. The food was ok but not satisfying. This is probably the worse Applebee's in a 15 mile radius. The servers are slow and do not like their job. We had a very large group so I can understand the running but not the attitudes. One person in our group ordered a Caesar salad and when they came with it the Roman lettuce was browning. Not good at all. Our orders were brought out wrong about 3 different times to where we just said forget it stopped eating the food and left. Applebee's food isn't really all that good btw. The spinach dip was gross. I was here on 5-28-11. Sooooooooo where do you end up when your date plans a 10:00AM date?? Apparently in Applebee's. Despite me still being half sleep I ended up at Applebee's early in the morning. Alas I guess women do have alot of pull. I was here as soon as they opened (10:00 on saturdays), which nescessarily wasn't a bad thing. The place was rather empty, so me & my date actually enjoyed our meal in peace. Albeit in an Applebee's of all places! Ok so we sit down, order our food, The waiter service is very quick. John I believe was our server if I remember correctly. He was very prompt, courteous, & professional. Or maybe he hadn't quite had the chance to be pissed off by a customer yet? I had the breakfast scramble & hot cocoa, which was a hit with me, but apparently my date didn't like hers too much. The place is kept clean, & service was fast. What else can I say? Went here with friends after a long flight and can honestly say the food was not good. Our waiter was friendly, but was confused by our order ( we asked for some substitutions). Upon ordering we asked that all food came at the same time. Two entrees came and then the other three took another 15 minutes. Unfortunately, once they came, two of the three were wrong. They were returned to the kitchen and came back wrong again, but I didn't realize it until after the first couple notes. I have a mild allergy to one of the ingredients so I didn't get too sick but I also wasn't feeling good afterwards. This upsets me because I explained in advance that these were allergies. If another person with more severe allergies were to have this happen, the results could have been highly detrimental. Rather than return the food, we just didn't finish our meals and asked for the check. It's not worth it if you have to return your meal twice. To compound the situation, both myself and one of my friends felt sick for the rest of the night. I'm guessing it was the food. Friendly waiter or not, I wouldn't recommend a restaurant that serves allergens to people who clearly state it up front. read more

I've been coming to this location since I was in junior high. Staff has always been friendly although there's nothing special really about this location for the normal Applebee's goer. Applebee's is a decent restaurant if you're willing to wait an hour for your food. I usually come on late Saturday nights with several of my friends and I'm amazed at how many people are still in the restaurant. That might explain the wait time ^_^ The best thing about Applebee's is the good Happy Hour menu. They have food such as Wings, Nachos and Sliders for a reasonable price. Although their regular menu is pretty good, they lack in quantity which might leave you hungry and force you to leech off of your friends/family. The overall atmosphere of Applebee's is nice and dim. They have several TV's in each corner of the restaurant which is a plus for sports fans. Their waiters are always nice and always check up on you. The only real complaint I have about Applebee's are the lanterns placed above the tables. I'm around 5'7 and I find myself hitting my head on them. We had to wait a while to get seated. When I ordered the wrong thing, they replaced it for free. The nachos were lacking toppings. We asked for salsa but it never came. Bah. I think this is one of the busiest Applebee's I've been to. It's your standard Applebee's. I'm not saying it's "A-OK" as far as restaurant establishments go...I'm saying it's "A-OK" as far as Appleebee's goes. Regardless, nothing makes this location stand out apart from the rest. The food is fine and the service is usually fine. I don't know what makes me keep coming back here from time to time. This location can sometimes be better than the Renton one. They are nice and friendly but can sometimes forget things. I don't really care to review this franchise because it's nothing that will blow you away. I will say that their food is great for HH. However, I heard that this place just reheats their food and it's not fresh food. But they have the BEST salad dressing of bleu cheese I've ever had in my life. The best hands down. This place is okay. Their hot wings are the bomb actually. Their prices are affordable but it's not really great for kick it spots. More like cheap HH and sometimes cheap drinks. Applebee's is a weird place for me. They have a good menu with variety but every time I come here nothing ever pops off the menu and is like I have to have. Also nothing becomes a favorite. The food is always good, never anything wrong. Just nothing amazing. The staff is great for the most part, but I think now since putting in the table machines the staff kinda expects you to do some of the stuff yourself. Seated, greeted, food and bill all came out quickly. Which is what I expect at chains. The only thing memorable about the food to me was the dessert, but that could be pregnant women talking. One particular highlight.. last Mother's Day I brought home a hefty order for the fam only to find out an entree was forgotten.
