The setting is idyllic and the B&B itself is a beautiful, sprawling house with 4 guest bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. Two of the rooms have private, in room bathrooms. The other two room share a bathroom that can be accessed by either room. If one couple occupies one of the rooms then the other room is left empty so that the bathroom can be private. However, if 2 couples wanted to occupy the two rooms they could share the bathroom on request. The rooms are meticulously clean and well-appointed. Each room has it's own theme and all rooms have charming views. There is a great hot tub outdoors under the stars. It is always surprising how many stars you can see when you are not surrounded by light pollution! The proprietors, Alicia and Guy, are very friendly and welcoming and make your stay just that much more enjoyable. Alicia is a fabulous cook and the breakfast is so good you will be talking about it for weeks. Sierra Sun Cloud Inn is a great place to go on a honeymoon, anniversary, romantic retreat, or just for a fun night away!

It can be noisy with the freeway and train nearby but we weren't bothered by it. There is a huge fountain outside the window that helps. This would be a great place for a small wedding or family reunion... the whole place is inviting and cozy. I am sure the grounds are gorgeous in the spring! They do not offer breakfast so we brought some muffins and fruit and enjoyed our coffee in the parlor... you do have full use of the kitchen so If you want to cook, you can.
