They work with AHS, which sent them to us to fix the fridge. The technician showed up, looked at the fridge, and said it needed a new motherboard. He said he put an order and will come back within 3-4 days. We haven't heard from them, but they marked their job as "completed." We called them and sent emails- no explanation of what happened to the order of the new motherboard and why they marked the job as completed. AHS submitted a second order for them to come and check again, but they didn't contact us and marked the job as "completed" again. Worst experience ever! Please save your time and money and reach out to reliable companies and not the company that's lying and ghosting their customers. read more

Wish I could leave negative stars! This person was sent by our home twice by First American Warranty. The first time was for our dishwasher that the door kept popping open during the wash cycle. After they left it completely stopped working and we had to replace it, it was 8 years old. The second time was for our washer and dryer, both 9 years old. Water does not drain from under the washer gasket, we have to mop it out after every load, and the dryer shuts off after a couple minutes. He was in our home for 3 minutes, looked at both and said you need new doors on both, I'll place the order & call when they come in. The next day we got an email from First American, the tech filed a report saying the washer was fine, no issues and the dryer had been "abused". We are only adults living in the house and use it daily but have never "abused" the machine or hung on the door. The tech refused to return our calls or the warranty company when we called to clarify the discrepancy between what he told us & the report. The person that answers the phone was unbelievably rude and argumentative and told me they only have 1 tech so could not send another out to verify the report and she could not verify what he put in the report. They refused to answer our questions or send the tech out again when we filed for a recheck because the washer still is not working correctly. These people a scammers, dishonest liars and have no respect for customers. I haven't even mentioned that the tech clearly had not bathed in many days, the odor he left in our home after 3 mins lasted hours (I thought the dogs had an accident in the house, until I realized it was from him). DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE under any circumstances!!!!! Clearly First American has some sort of deal with them to scam their customers based on the other reviews I'm seeing here. We are also canceling our First American contract and going with another company. Look them up in BBB, they have an F rating all for the same things, 9 negative reviews in 4 years and not properly licensed in state. read more

I was set up for a home warranty repair of dishwasher with Appliance Guard Pro. -I was assigned a 2-4pm window -tech comes at 1, and we don't answer the door (but he can see our 4 year old in the window) -Appliance Guard Pro tech calls me and absolutely chews me out, claiming we purposely did nothing answer our door. He offers to do me a favor by coming back at 2 (the scheduled window) -Appliance Guard Pro tech comes, and says our dishwasher needs to be replaced -Appliance Guard Pro tech walks us through the process of getting the replacement through insurance -Fidelity says they haven't heard from Appliance Guard Pro -I call Appliance Guard Pro many times, always going to an overflowing message box -I email Appliance Guard Pro -I have my husband call, and Appliance Guard Pro answers!!! they put him on hold, and then hang up. -Right after being hung up on, I get two emails and two texts saying that they have cancelled our service and that they don't work on our type of dishwasher. Yikes. I was chewed out, so stressed, walked through a replacement process, had the tech inside my home during a pandemic, and then totally ghosted. This was a brutal experience. Had a Tech come out to look at Stove and determined front panel had to be replaced. Said would take 2 weeks so thought ok sounds about right. They schedule to return 3 weeks later. Wellll that never happened. The first time they say they will show up they never show and then claim no one answered the door or answered a call when I never recieved a call and I was sitting in the living room the whole time because most of us are working from home right now anyway. Well they reschedule for a week out and so that day comes and no one shows up during the 1-3pm window. Call dispatch and they said they will look into it and call back. Wait another hour and a half and still no word and now is past business hours so no one is answering. Go take your business elsewhere. read more

They never answer their phone and you can't leave a message because all the boxes are full and if by chance you are able to leave a message, they will not call you back. They should not be working with American Home Shield because they will never respond. It took over a week to get an appointment and when someone finally came, he was only here for about 2 minutes just to say that they do not repair compressors on refrigerators. Now they won't send in the report to AHS so we can get a real company that does repair refrigerators. This company is a joke. read more

Sean did a great job today at my place. He came to inspect my washing machine which was taking a long time to complete loads. Sean was quick in identifying the cause of the problem. He clearly explained it to me and fixed it quickly. We were having issues with the drier too but had not reported it when setting up the appointment. But Sean was very kind to check it too - he dismantled and cleaned the drier, fixed the problem and then put it all back together very nicely. Before leaving he also gave us very useful tips to keep the washer and drier in good condition. Overall we were very happy and satisfied with the service received. read more

So my dryer stop heating and I called AHS, the first company that was sent out said that the dryer was working. I called AHS again to state when I attempted to do laundry again the dryer was not working. The Appliance Guard Pro sent out Luis, and he was brilliant. He figured out immediately what was wrong with the dryer. He took the time to take a video to show me the issue and explained that they had the part in the office and he will be back beginning of next week to fix the dryer. Don't use this company. I didn't choose them, my home warranty assign me this company. On December 23, 2021, I put a claim in on my range/oven. Some came out two weeks later to look at it (had to sit home for 4 hours waiting for them). They said they needed to order a part, so they did and returned another two weeks later to install it. It didn't fix the problem, and said they needed to order another part. 24 hours after they left I got an email saying my range is fixed and they are closing my claim. I called my home warranty company, told them my problem, so they had to reopen the claim. Today February 5, appliance pro was suppose to come out again and never showed up after I waited at home all day. I will be calling my home warranty company again!! read more

They didn't do a good job fixing my microwave (the tech in a hurry missed putting back several screws and now my microwave looks awkward) and my home insurance have to send a different company just to finish the job.
