We stumbled on this place cause it's right near my wifes work. Which is both good and bad. When we bought our house last year it had some lets just say older appliances. So my better half keeps going next door to check out what's available, price etc. In the process gets to know the guys here pretty well. The first I really know about anything is that we're getting a new to us dishwasher. (The husband is really the last to know stuff!) And I must say that for a very reasonable price they brought out and installed a dishwasher so quiet you can't even hear the water filling. They also took care of the old one for us. This is a family owned business and they do good work, stand behind their products, and have some really good deals as long as you don't mind an imperfection here and there. I know the next appliance is a newer fridge, and when it's time we'll be coming here first! read more

I was a bit skeptical about shopping for a major appliance at a liquidator, but we needed a good refrigerator and we didn't have extra money to spend, so we did a walk-through one afternoon. The place was clean and friendly and LOADED with refrigerators, as well as stoves, washers and dryers. The prices were very good, and we ran out of time looking, so we came back another day after doing some research. When we returned, the staff (a family-run business) answered our questions without pressuring us. We picked out a nice Samsung and completed the purchase easily and quickly. Delivery was on time and would have been free if the guys hadn't needed to remove and replace the fridge doors to gain entry to the kitchen ($25 extra, I believe). They set everything up without a hitch, answered questions, and removed our old fridge free of cost. Everything has worked just as promised, and this will be our first shop stop for our next major appliance. Friendly people, great products and prices, excellent service. read more

I had shopped around at other appliance stores, looking for someone who would be able to deliver and hook up a gas dryer. When I spoke with the sales person at the shop, she assured me that they would install AND hookup the gas dryer. We even joked together about how scary it can be to work with gas lines if you don't know what's going on. She assured me that their delivery guy can hook up the dryer to the gas line. Based on that, I purchased the dryer, and asked them to deliver and hook up the appliance. They said they would deliver the dryer that night, Sunday night, after 4pm. When no one called or showed up, I called the store back and left a message. I didn't receive a call back from them until Thursday. When they did talk with me, they assured me that the dryer would be delivered that night. A few hours later, I received another call explaining that they couldn't deliver the dryer that night because they had to fire their delivery guy. They said they would be able to have someone else deliver the dryer on Friday. When Friday rolled around, I got a call from their delivery person, who informed me that he would not be able to hook up the dryer, because he was not certified. I spoke with the owner, and told him that I had expected the dryer to be hooked up when delivered. He told me that the company wasn't legally allowed to hook up a gas dryer. Either he was not telling the truth, or his employees were not telling the truth. Either way, this is not a company who has any interest in working with their customers. read more

I am totally disappointed in this establishment. We bought a used washer and dryer from them in August 2010 and added delivery, which came with a 30 day warranty. Within the 30 days the washer stopped working on all but one setting. I called the company and told them the problem and they said they would look into it. They called me the next day and said they were on their way to my house, but since they hadn't scheduled it I was already at work and couldn't accommodate them. Instead, the dude, R., asked for pics of my washer dials. I sent them the moment I got home...then nothing...After a couple days I called and the woman who answered said R. would call back...then nothing...After a week I asked my husband to call, the woman who answered said she had told me they were waiting on a part for our washer (which she so hadn't told me!). THEN NOTHING. So I email them in OCTOBER (6 weeks after my initial complaint) and NOTHING. EVER. Why am I writing this 6 months later? My dryer just broke. Think I am going to call them about repair options and costs? I'll wait until hell freezes over. read more

We recently purchased a used fridge here. we got the fridge home but it wasn't quite working right. The staff at Appliance liquidators diagnosed the problem, ordered the parts and came out and replaced them for me at no charge since the fridge was covered under their warranty. We were a little apprehensive to buy a used drier, but decided to call this place after seeing a listing for one on Craigslist. The staff were really helpful and friendly, and the drier has been great. We ended up getting a better deal with this place than if we were to have gone with a private party. read more

The quoted me 300 and hoodwinked me for 400 after the fact. The new dryer drum was installed poorly (dented and damaged) when I showed up to get it they were drying oily smelly rags in my dryer! They just recommend that I put some fabric softener in it to get rid of the smell. They are as good as my dryer.... They stink! read more

We bought a washer and dryer set less than a year ago from these guys. The washer barely agitated, turned the water a brown color and smelled rancid. The dryer took twice the time a normal dryer would to dry half the same amount of clothes. We called the owners and were told to bring them back so they could fix them, we wanted to exchange them for a different (more expensive, $300 more) set. We were told they don't exchange. It does not (or did not at the time) state that anywhere in the showroom or on receipt. After some discussion , we reluctantly paid a restock fee and got the more expensive set. The washer has been repaired for leaking and we had to buy a new dryer last month because the drum was bent and the "jimmy-rig" job someone had done to conceal it had come undone. read more

Purchased a brand new fridge and dishwasher form "The Appliance Liquidators" When they delivered they neglected to remove the protective plastic coating before they left. I have never purchased new wand didnt realize I should have requested they remove for a PROPER inspection (careful to read the fine print on their hand written sales receipt) Immediately after they left & I removed the plastic and discovering several imperfections in the stainless doors I called them. After a little battle they said they wold send me another new one. This one was filthy dirty and scratched so I refused to accept it. After a three month battle, numerous calls and threats to them, the owner simply said "GO AHEAD AND SUE ME, WE HAVE AN IRON CLAD CONTRACT AND YOU'LL NEVER WIN" Since the appliances were new i resorted to contacting LG themselves and after another couple months and many more hours (this took soooo long mostly because The Appliance Liquidators" REFUSED to cooperate with LG and wouldnt even verify the fact I purchased from them. Finally LG's upper level managers stepped in and resolved the issue for me...... BEWARE...GO ELSEWHERE... read more

They seemed nice enough when I was buying my fridge. I made the mistake of not really checking out the freezer very carefully and did not have them plug it in before buying it. It turns out they sold me a freezer that had a 3 in one started instead of the normal device to start the compressor. It turns out this is more of a diagnostic tool and 3 in one starters are not intended for long term use. Even though they had a warranty they did not seem very helpful when I asked about replacing the part. This business seems like they have very shady business practices. When it came time to pick it up, not only was the guy there an idiot with a "I'm not helping attitude" until he found out we were both veterans, they didn't have the racks. They promised to have some in a week or so but these have never materialized. What a sham. These five star ratings have to fabricated by the proprietor. NO WAY can they be real. No way! I went into appliance liquidators looking for a great deal on a Washer and Dryer combo. I was greeted at the door by one of the employees, told him what I was looking for, and pointed me to the correct guy/department. I then talked to Rob and he showed me through a great selection of washer and dryers. He was very knowledgeable of his inventory and helped me select my new washer and dryer quickly. Because I went into the store just before they were closing, they had to wait to install the next day. I gave them a time and they were able to work around my busy work schedule to install the Washer and Dryer. The whole experience was great! They have a huge selection of all appliances to choose from. If you are in need of an appliance, I strongly suggest that you go to Appliance Liquidators for those major needs! I wanted a new fridge, washer and dryer. I did not want to pay retail. This place offered 90 days same as cash. The first fridge we bought from them the freezer died first then the fridge. Called them. They came to get it and there werent any equal fridges, so we had to pay and extra $400 to get another fridge. It came. Within two days the fridge died. They came and got it and gave us as loaner. They never offered to reimburse us for the food we lost. And would not budge on the $400 more we had to pay for the second fridge. I asked if they would at least buy us a new filter for the second fridge. We paid $34 for the fiter on the first fridge. Reluctanly they said they would. When the fridge came, the delivery man said that this fridge doesnt take a filter. They left and I looked on line, guess what it does take a filter. So we had to buy a second filter. These people are not into pleasing the customer. Would NEVER by from them again or refer them even to my worst enemy. read more

HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! I bought a refurb washing machine that consisitently made an awful noise within a month after buying it. After calling several times, I finally was offered to PAY to have a service tech come out AND pay for the new part which would equal almost the price of the washing machine! When I asked if this is the best they would do, they say "yup" even after informing them that I would not come back again. Awful. I would think they would stand by their products better than this and attempt to keep a customer, but NO MORE!!! I will not be back and don't recommend it to anyone. Save your money!! read more

Horrible experience. They sell crap and do not stick by their word. They will say and promise one thing and not abide by their own statemenets and agreements. I even took the time to go through the whole BBB Complaint process to find a mutual solution with them. Appliance Liquidators refused to come to an equitable agreement, and would not even allow BBB to offer mediation services. Not happy. I purchase a refrigerator, stove, and dishwasher from these guys 3 years ago. When I got the fridge, in the house, it was too big for the hole. They wouldn't take it back, so I had to CUT OUT THE WALL, to make it fit. Then, just a few months after the appliances were purchased, the stove quit working. Had one of their repairman come out and fix it for almost $200. Now, The dishwasher has quit working AND, their store is "closed for construction", so I called another repair company. This repair company called me and told me that the serial label has been removed from the dishwasher and they can NOT work on it. So, Here I am stuck with a dishwasher that can't even be worked on. Ohhhh. And I called the store again today, and their mailbox is quite conveniently full! read more

We just bought a refrigerator from Appliance Liquidators.... it's a scratch 'n dent ... which is just fine by us for the screaming deal we got on it. It's new, never been used, just has a couple scratches and dents, and comes w/ a 90 day warranty. Sales staff was super friendly and knew their products well. We'll be coming back here to purchase our stove later this summer for sure. There's no reason to pay full retail when you have this as an option. read more

Purchased a Electrolux Icon from here at a price of $1800.00, the fridge only worked for 6 months, and then stopped working. I left 3 voicemails, but nobody returned my call about repairs (they only offer a 3 month warranty anyways). I tried to have a serviceman come repair it, but he couldn't because there was no model number on the unit. This is because the unit we purchased (to find out much later), was actually a unit that was pulled from electrolux to be replaced, and when they pull the unit, they remove the model number and serial to ensure the product is out of their inventory and NEVER resold. It was however somehow sold at auction, repaired in some capacity, and then sold to me. So now we have a broken fridge with no resale value, and no ability to repair it. I would have left zero stars if I could, because now I am out $1800, with no options to salvage ANY of my money. THESE PEOPLE ARE SHADY, DO NOT BUY HERE!!
