I went in looking for a used washer because mine wasn't working properly. The guy said before you buy another, let me take a look at it. He told me it would be a $75 service call. He was able to come over the following afternoon and discovered the water supply to the washer had been turned off (while we were trying to fix a faucet leak.) No charge! Our newer "all the bells and whistles" dryer broke after only 6 years of use, so we were looking for a used dryer from back when they made things that last (I know, I sound like my father). Checked yelp for good places to get used appliances and saw that these guys have a perfect set of 5-star reviews and now I know why. I went by and the owner, Renee, was amazingly friendly and answered all my questions. Their prices are great and they delivered right away the next morning for FREE (even over in North Portland) and removed/disposed of our old dryer for FREE. Great news after I saw that other used appliance places were charging $50 each for delivery and removal of old appliances and some places even indicated on their website that they wouldn't deliver if they had to deal with stairs (cuz, right, most homes keep their dryer on the main floor?!?) We bought a used freezer from Pacific Appliance Center about 5-6 years ago and have been very pleased with it ever since, and appreciated the prompt free delivery and setup. Something quit working last week and they sent someone to check it out within 30 minutes, then advised us it needed new parts. They took it away after providing another freezer so our frozen stuff didn't get ruined. A few days later they reversed the process and we now have the old freezer back, apparently in new working condition. After being disappointed with Standard TV and Appliances selection, and condition of their refurbished machines, I went to Pacific Appliance, and found the perfect front loading Maytag washer & dryer. The owners were very helpful and even suggested a less expensive more basic model might be the way to go for our rental, as renters are hard on appliances. They explained what parts on the machines had been changed, & have an amazing home warranty: if an appliance you buy there breaks, they charge for the replacement parts, but not labor. How can you beat that?! And they delivered them that evening. I wish we'd bought all our appliances there!! I have recommended them highly to several friends already. read more

Needed a dryer ASAP. i called and asked about their used inventory that may not have been on the website. Within 1.75 hours of my first call, i had : a model number, several pictures of the dryer text to my phone, a new (used) dryer delivered, installed, and my old one removed. 1.75 hours from start to finish. they are on halsey, im near 82nd and foster. thats impressive! It gets better though. Rene was extremely friendly and professional, their prices were lower than anywhere else i could find, delivery was free, AND i have a 6 month warranty. Finding reliable and inexpensive repair people can be daunting but I feel like these guys are A GEM. I had a short timeline to fix both a washer and dryer. Previously someone from Standard Appliance had told me they weren't worth fixing and I should just buy a new set ($1000!), but I hoped to be repair them instead. These guys came out to my home and within a week had inspected them, fixed the dryer and replaced the washer with an used but updated model, and did an extra favor for me and took a look at my dishwasher, all for $350. I am so pleased and will call them again for any appliance issues in the future. read more

In a nutshell, Francisco and his customer service team are some of the most courteous, friendly and helpful folks out there. They took the time, very patiently, to answer all of my nit-picky questions in detail, without seeming the least bit annoyed with me! Their appliances appear to be in immaculate condition,with all new parts visible to layperson's eye, and are very reasonably priced. After having a less than pleasant experience at a used appliance store closer to my house, I found myself taking a trip out to Pacific Appliance. I had a dryer in mind but after spending some time talking to the owners brother he convinced me that I could get more bang for my buck from a different model. Free same day delivery, installation and removal of my old dryer- I could not be happier with this dryer. So happy we recently went back for a washer. Pacific Appliance once again exceeded my expectations- they worked with me in my price range, and delivered my new washer in a matter of hours. Unfortunately there was an issue with the washer (hey it happens) Pacific Appliance came back out right away and worked for 2 hours trying to fix the issue. Since it wasnt working perfectly, they came back out again and replaced the Washer with a newer model- not only were they prompt and professional, they offered to replace my (now way past their standard warrantee) DRYER with a newer matching model to go w/ my washer FREE OF CHARGE. I could not recommend Pacific Appliance more. Don't bother with the rest- go straight to THE BEST! I'll be back for sure. read more
