I came in for some Thai Tea and as soon as I walked in the stupid female on register already gave me a dirty look. She looked about 22. Anyways, I decide to order the thai tea and pay with card. She says "it's a $10 minimum or else I have to charge twenty five cents extra" I'm like okay whatever. My boyfriend was like yeah it's just $.25. She charges it and I see the receipt and it charged 75 cents extra. Then she says "we never only charge 25 cents" I swear to god I heard 25 cents and so did my boyfriend. I know the money isn't a big deal it's a few cents. However, the customer service here is shit. Best believe I will never step foot back in this restaurant. read more

Food Review Only: Yesterday was my first time here with friends. I was so excited to order all my favorate khmer dishes. Unfortunately, the last of passion in preparing and cooking the cook was obvious when served. I was really disappointed at most of the food I had ordered. Catfish and veggies: catfish was good. The dipping sauce was below par. Need to be improved! Beef Anchovies: I could not for the name of heaven taste the prohok and the beef was over cooked. Beef Larb: Again the beef was over cooked and the sauce was no good. Papaya Salad: The flavor was not fully developed. It tasted like they pour fish sauce and a bit of lime. No no. Chicken curry noodle: the curry broth was cold and I could taste the raw ingredients. Damn !who is chef? Beef Machu Kreung: This was the only dish I like. Avoid this place. The food is horrible. I ordered pad se ew and they brought out meakatang that looks like they blew their nose on it. I had to pick out some of the thick sauce and put it on a napkin. When the waitress came and saw the napkin, she thought we blew our nose in it. Nah it was your nasty food. So unfortunate that I have to give them one star, because their food is delicious, but their customer service is horrible. I'm not sure what changed, but when my family and I used to come here, their customer service was, at least, acceptable. The few times my siblings and I ordered for pickup, they never acknowledged us. No "how can i help you," or anything. Recently went in for dine-in. Again, no acknowledgement, so we sat ourselves. Waited, and waited, and waited for anyone to bring us a menu and take our order, but nothing. It wasn't until we decided to up and leave after 20mins of being ignored that they finally wanted to acknowledge us. I've given them chance after chance, but this time no more. Fix your customer service. An acknowledgement that you see us and will be with us when you can would have been much better than ignoring us altogether. read more

I haven't tried everything here but I had Phnom Penh noodle with soup on the side. It was delicious! This is the hidden gem in Cambodian town. This place is a friendly family and I get a chance to briefly chat with the owner. I recommended all tourists to give this place a try if you are visiting the Cambodian town. Good food, wonderful service and the amazing price that make Apsara Cafe a place to grab a quick bite. This is the few places I come for Kar Koh (Beef stew) noodle...the noodle is a bit over cooked but still delicious. Highly recommended for those in a rush and on a budget. read more

Got there at 730pm. Told us we could not sit down and eat bc they close at 8. Annoying but decided to order takeout. Another customer came in after me to order takeout as he was told also that it was too late to sit down. After waiting and proceeding to pay, i hear one of the workers ask the other customer if he would like some tea while he was waiting. I sat and waited over 20 or 25 mins and they didnt offer me any tea. Totally uncool! Best (steak &) pahok I've had. Better than my moms and other moms pahok I've tried. Right amount of citrus and the fish isn't overpowering. Balanced of flavors and not too spicy. The consistency is spot on. Also like how they use shallots in there. I like to order a large serving of their pahok for pick up and grill my own steak to go with it. read more

Placed an order for seafood noodle over the phone for pick-up. When we arrived 25 minutes later the food was not ready. The lady behind the counter looked shocked when I told her my order, almost like they didn't take it down. After 10 minutes of waiting, she said that the noodle was bad and that they had to start over. My gut feeling told me she was lying. We finally get our meal after waiting for nearly 30 mins and the noodles looked like it was prepared in the microwave. Pretty disappointed and will not be coming back. read more

CONSUMER BEWARE: DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE FOOD ALLERGIES! The noodles and everything are good but they are very negligent toward customer's food allergies. Told them no peanuts in my egg rolls and I felt the taste and residue of peanuts after eating 2 out of the 3 egg rolls I ordered. I asked them to take eggrolls out of my bill since I got an allergic reaction from it. The cashier said she will take it out however one of the waitresses was adamant that I pay for it because they already prepared it for me, despite me having an allergic reaction. However the cashier said it was okay and that I didn't have to pay for it. Now hours later I am having a worse allergic reaction. May have to sue the restaurant if it gets even worse. Will not be coming here again. DO NOT come here if u have food allergies!!! read more

This place is nice. The food is amazing and authentic and so are the drinks and donuts, especially the glazed donuts. Me and my sibling ride our bikes here and they do have a place to lock up your bike. The people there are very nice and sweet. One time, I was 49 cense short and they said not to worry about it. Today we ate at the cafe and I'm still hungry. We ordered over $100 worth of food. We got egg roll, larb, curry soup, catfish, papaya salad. Nothing was remarkable. I don't even want to take it home.
