A friend and I went here for apps and drinks a few weeks ago. We sat outside and were somewhat disappointed in the service which was friendly but inconsistent. It seemed that there were not enough staff to handle the weekend rush. This spot is definitely more cocktail-centric and it seems that the food here isn't the priority. We were ultimately happy with the drinks but overall I wouldn't recommend coming here for more than that. read more

They are always busy because the food is so delicious. I get the Dutch baby, which, unfortunately, is served only on Sundays. My husband usually gets the special and it is always tasty. The servers work their tails off and treat you to "honey" and "darlings." read more

Great bar, love the atmosphere and the service! Came with a big group and was served drinks for 12 people within 5 minutes! I got the art basil and it was super delicious and light. My uncle and I stopped here for drinks because he said I must try the peanut butter old fashioned. Apt 9f did not disappoint. It's a strong drink because it's bourbon or whiskey. It sounds like a weird combination but it's actually very delicious especially if you like peanut butter. I don't care for peanut butter usually but this was delicious. The ambiance is casual and hipster but the drinks are upscale. I have eaten here before and loved it. A friend of ours stopped by and had a cheese plate with prosciutto. I tried the cheese and bread. The bread was crunchy in the good way and the cheese was delicious and I'm not a big diary person as I just don't care for it. However this was delicious. Great place to stop by for dinner or a drink. It's privately owned right on Wilton Dr so it's within walking distance of everything. read more

Every time I vacation to Ft Lauderdale from NYC I make it a point to eat here at least once during my stay. The food is always top notch along with the service. Last week while visiting, I was invited to a wine and food pairing event here. Each wine and food was selected by the staff which was done to perfection. Carol, the owner, was absolutely amazing and made the night even better with her funny and witty personality. She made sure everyone always had extra wine in their glass! Right now they are doing a great job considering that they are short on staff. Everything was homemade goodness. Loved the jalapeno muffin tops and the Dutch baby. My friend had the bacon, turkey, something else wrap and really enjoyed it. More of a bite place than a full menu place but don't let that fool you, that doesn't mean small portions. They have all sorts of specials during the week and the bar was such a fun area to hang out at. They treat everyone as family here and it really did feel like no one is a stranger. A mixed, fun crowd that knows how to have a good time. Street only parking here and remember not to make reservations by leaving a message..they are super busy and won't have time to get to you until possibly too late. Been living in Wilton Manors for a couple of years. Not sure what took me so long to try out Apt. 9f. So glad I stopped in this week with a friend. The place is clean, and the staff was very attentive and friendly. They have a "small bites" menu with a great selection. We ordered the charcuterie board. They offer a variety of cheeses, meats and condiments so you can create a board of your liking. We chose the brie, smoked gouda and Wenselydale cranberry, so delicious!! I should have taken pics of the small plates- think tapas- we ordered. They were all exquisite. The hot brie under a blanket of peppery confit was wonderful. The flat bread was savory, the meatballs were flavorful. Four plates for three of us turned out just fine, but really, we could have sampled everything else. Next time. Great service. This is one of my wife and I's favorite local spots. Cute and cozy! Awesome wine list , inventive drink menu and tasty bites! They have a shrimp dish that comes with a sauce that's to die for! (ask for more toast) Yummy meat and cheeses, and the baked goat cheeseeese! :::drool::: And a must try is the sweet version of their Dutch baby during brunch! I received an email from Yelp in March pertaining to women owned businesses, Apt9f came up, as a restaurant with cocktails (I'm a big fan) so I was interested in checking it out. Made plans with my hubby and we went tonight. I was thoroughly pleased! The staff was pleasant and my cocktail "Miss Understood " was delicious!! I met one of the owners (Carol) and I only thought she might be the owner because she was relaxed like it was "home" and I mean that in a very good way! She was down to earth and made you feel comfortable and she was easy to talk to. It was just an all around nice experience and the place is great! Inside it's cozy and chill. Another great brunch at apt 9F. We were fans of the owners' previous bar/restaurant in Wilton, 13 Even and visited whenever we were in the area. We were sad to hear it had closed until we discovered they opened 9F! We've been here several times, for dinner, drinks, and brunch, and are never disappointed. What happened to this place? It used to be one of the friendliest places, we went in tonight and were ignored. I finally went up to the bar to ask if I could put my name in, was given the most confusing response, I said, I'll wait at the door, could you let me know. No one ever connected with us. Two chairs opened in front of us, we were about to take them, only to be told they were for someone who's been waiting an hour. Interestingly, the people "waiting an hour" walked in right before us. I will say it was busy, but a little communication and making us feel welcome would have gone a long way. Any from the staff, maybe we would have stayed, got nothing so left.
