What is immediately apparent once you walk into ET is just how much every single employee there genuinely wants to help you out however you need. There's zero pushy sales bs, and nothing but genuine interaction. We ended up getting a Ripcurl spring suit, some Sticky Bumps, and checking out their huge selection of boards. I was anxious to get a "real" board, but the guy helping us was kind enough to tell me to slow my roll. My kids are on Wavestormers and still getting a feel for it, and the guy suggested not to rush them past that stage. Much appreciated advice, and it means I am 1000% coming back to ET when they *are* ready for new boards. There's a reason places like ET have been open for decades--they're doing it right in every respect.

AMBIANCE: It's in a random spot down the street of Willow (if you're coming from Long Beach). You might miss it so keep your eyes peeled. The street is a busy street but the sidewalk shouldn't be. The spot itself is a pretty clean skate shop flexing all their boards and gear. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Friendly peeps and community vibes. I like how every Sunday they're watching football. After about a week of using it, I decided it was time to get a high quality longboard and searched for a shop near my area. I found out about Stoked rideshop and continued to browse their site for around 2 weeks until I decided to drop by. The shop was a little hard to find but I ended up finding it. It's a warehouse at the end of a nice business complex area. I was greeted by Chris and Dave. I explained that I am a noobie looking for an upgrade from my Amazon longboard that my son kept taking from me. They gave me a couple options and I ended up buying a Landyachtz switchblade 38inch. While I was there, I ended up buying some bushings and some 85mm Orangutan caguama wheels so I can fiddle around and setup my board at home. They did not pressure me into anything, actually they had recommended another longboard below my budget but I wanted to go for something known for quality even if It meant spending more. The premises and actual warehouse was super clean and laid back. There are so many things to look at and buy. I ended up going back here 2 more times to buy a Landyachtz dinghy and evo 40. I heard great things about their online ordering, shipping, and customer service. Guess what? Going there in person is way better and it you are local of willing to drive, I guarantee you will leave with a smile on your face :) I am stoked to come back here in the future and love the longboards I purchased from here. My nephews, kids, and even my wife love taking my boards out. Sometimes leaving me with nothing to use. I only wish they would open on Saturday, but I understand these guys need the weekend to spend with family and shred the gnar haha

My experience couldn't have been better . they took such great care of me and were very fair with their pricing . if you want to feel what Customer Service used to feel like come here and support this shop. Later that evening (Friday) I received a phone call from a young lady, I believe her name was Betty, she explained to me that I needed more than just cleaning on the wheels and bearings, I even got a video of what was wrong and I thought that was pretty cool so I can visually see the problem. When I went to go pick up my skates I then spoke with Kevin and he mentioned he didn't want to start because I had OTHER issues going on with my skates...once he explained to me step by step what he was going to do with the option I chose, I said ok and waited for like a hour which is not bad at all and then he recommended a different plate which I plan on getting for my birthday in October, OVERALL the prices were reasonable, the WHOLE staff is wonderful, patient, communicative, incredible people who really take care of their customers, I WILL definitely recommend this place and I'll be back soon thank you all!!!!!!

BEWARE: This business sells dangerously defective products and refuses to stand behind them…read more I purchased a bike from this establishment that literally BROKE IN HALF during a simple 10-mile ride. I was stranded and forced to walk home carrying the broken frame myself. When I contacted the owner and provided proof of the damage, he initially refused to issue a refund and only agreed to have the manufacturer send a replacement after repeated complaints. Unbelievably, the replacement bike ALSO broke in half just a few months later. At that point, instead of taking responsibility for selling two catastrophic failures, the owner told me he had already "given me a free bike" and refused to refund me. Selling one unsafe bike is unacceptable, selling two and then blaming the customer is outrageous. This business clearly does not care about customer safety, product quality, or basic accountability. A bike frame snapping in half is not a minor issue, it is a serious safety hazard that could have caused a major injury or worse. I would strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from this establishment to take their money elsewhere unless they enjoy wasting money on dangerous products and being ignored when something goes wrong.
