We agreed and, after paying for the parts, we were told that because of the winter weather, they would come out on April 8th to do the work. April 8th came and went and I texted to see what was going on. At first he claimed that we didn't have an appointment, then I sent him a screen shot of the exchange. After that he came me the runaround telling me they could not locate the screens that I had already paid for. After weeks they came over presumably with screens that they found in the warehouse that didn't fit. Finally I told them I was able to source the screens from...wait for it...the manufacturer and suddenly we had an install date. That was on around May 23rd. No I have reached out to him and he is not responding. Absolutely appalling behavior. And before I get some stupid response from the owner about the truthfulness of this review know this, I have every text and I will add them to corroborate everything I've written.

I reached out to Adam at Cobalt Pools explaining that we needed a little "hot tub 101 for dummies" and he was very responsive and quick to schedule an appointment within a few days. Rolando was the service man who came out and he was excellent! He drained, cleaned and filled the tub and allowed me to watch how he did every step and explained the entire process. We inherited the hot tub when we purchased the house this summer and hadn't used it yet. He was so thorough and we appreciated his knowledge and friendliness to answer all of our questions, as well as explain the chemicals we would need to maintain the tub. We are very happy with our experience with Cobalt!!

They were given preauthorization up until a certain amount and because we asked them to fix something, they charged the amount to fix it without any kind of authorization or discussion about what it took to fix and how much it would cost. Communication was for the most part non-existent, a response to an email regarding the preauthorization took approximately a month to respond. The only reason that it was even responded to was because of our cancellation for their bad service.

Cerulean has done big jobs and small jobs, from installing new pumps, heaters and control system and fine tuning the pool water clarity. A mixed review. $70k in ground pool and concrete installed in Gurnee. Initial installation was…read moregreat. Pool was put in level and exactly to specifications. Concrete work looks great. Follow-up wasn't great. Pool went in at the end of fall. Workers through a tarp on a left dirt and rocks for the spring. I had to call several times for them to come open it, then they workers complained about how the pool was left. Eventually it got done but a sticky residue was left at the water line. They sent someone out to clean it but he gave up and said it would wear off. They are also some minor scratches I asked about but the office manager ignored my email. Also when using a chalk line to mark out the cover mounting holes in the concrete they used red chalk which is permanent. Blue chalk washes off. Now I have a faint red line around my pool. No one ever explained how to run or operate the system. I had to figure it out myself. Basically, good initial work but no follow-up. Once they get your money they are done.
