Peter came for an old galvanized pipe leak in this 1960s home that we just purchased through home warranty. He saw that it was leaking due to flushing the toilets, using the sinks and showers. Got it approved and came the next week. They changed the old piping to new black PVC and now there are no more leaks! My main sewer line was clogged. I called my warranty company and they sent out Aqua Fresh Plumbing to service it. I have an outside clean out and the plumber was not able to clear it with his snake after mutiple tries or so he said. I was then told by the warranty company that he would need a camera and hydraulic to clear the clog. It would be $1500 and not covered by my warranty company. I have lived in this house over 30 years and have dealt with this issue with clogs due to roots in the pipe. There has never been a problem clearing the line. Since I know it didn't need this $1500 service, I called Roto Rooter and they had it cleared within minutes with their snake. This plumber is either incompetent or trying to upcharge the job. I will refuse him as a service provider with my warranty company in the future. read more

Requested through First American Home Insurance to fix locked-up shower handle. Danny came in same day, spent 20 minutes, fixed everything right away. For reference, we did have another highly-rated-on-yelp plumber in San Carlos coming out the day before to take a look, two guys came and suggested to open the wall and replace the shower valve and use a bigger metal plate to cover up the hole if we don't plan to re-tile the wall. The quote was jaw dropping $1,765. As a comparison, Danny came in, no BS, got the job done without opening wall or asking to replace valve. Very cool, very efficient. It cost us $85 deductible with FAHW and a good tip for Danny. Couldn't be happier. Will definitely consider Danny again for our future plumbing jobs. read more

I had a cracked pipe in my crawl space that was discovered while doing some electrical work. Danny came by and took a look, got the approval from my home warranty and came back 2 days later and fixed it. He replaced the joint and an entire section of pipe and also added in a support belt to ensure the pipe was properly secured and wouldn't crack due to its own weight. Home warranty picked them as service provide, but this service provider is more like a scammer. If you only need someone at your place looking at the toilet and nothing got fix, and you still have no idea about what the root cause is, you're in the right place. "Maybe you can just replace the whole toilet to another common brand like Delta, as I never heard of this brand before and I don't know what the root cause is." This is the "solution" he gave me today. At least they should ask me what brand of the toilet is upfront, instead of arrived here and kept telling me "it's my first time seeing this brand so I don't know how to fix it." (The previous service provider did ask me the brand of my toilet and I sent them a picture, and they just informed me that they couldn't take my case as they've never worked on this brand before. That's professional & honest!) BTW, saw some other bad comments here and those are so true. 1. No scheduling/planning at all. Someone just called and said "hey I'm in the area and will be there within an hour. " 2. No shoe covers/declined to take off shoes. How can you be so sure that you won't scratch my floor with your shoes? 3. Didn't really look into the issue, so I still don't know what the root cause is. read more

I was a bit nervous about calling our Home Warranty regarding a leak we noticed coming from our wall. Sometimes the warranty company sends lower quality contractors. Boy was I wrong. Aqua Fresh Plumbing met my expectations and exceeded it. Upon opening our walls, they identified that we had a multiple leaks in our pipes coming from our master bathroom. We purchased our home recently and found out quickly that the was a shoddy remodel using cheap parts and labor. Regardless, these guys were able to quickly solve my the pipe leaks and I haven't had any problems since. They were clear, realistic, and ensure that everything was cleaned up right after. They also minimized the holes in the wall that needed to be created. Aqua Fresh will be my go to plumbers when (and hopefully if) I have plumbing problems again. Peter provided exceptional service! My sink had leaked before and the last plumber didn't do a good job a month prior.... Peter was responsive on a Saturday and even came by Saturday evening to check out my leak. He shared insight on what the last guy did wrong and that it would affect the lifetime of my dishwasher. He also flagged that the faucet was super old and needed replacing. He didn't sell me but rather shared the problems he saw and left it up to me to decide next steps. I needed to confirm the cost with my Landlord and I later confirmed him for Monday to repair the issues. He called when he was on his way, repaired the issues and even tested everything out for 5 minutes to ensure everything was working correctly. Had a issue with my heater and the plumber came to my place, said the whole thing needs to be replaced and told me he can do it for $500 in labor. I did not feel his diagnosis was right and so called another plumber who fixed the issue for $50. Either these people are incompetent or are ripping off their customers. read more
