He sent our insurance company the needed information and got back to me quickly. He needed to do some extra work for us, and his pricing was more than fair. The work he did was excellent. I had a bathtub leak, so Aqua Fresh was assigned to me by First American Home Warranty. After 48 hrs of waiting for a call to set an appointment, I called the company myself. He answered with just a "Hello?" Unprofessional to begin with: no introduction with company or personal name. He was abrasive, condescending, and had the absolute WORST customer service I've ever encountered. He wanted to come out the same day (Wednesday). I had plans already, so I asked for the next day or the day after. He said Monday. I confirmed several times, "Monday?" And he kept saying "Yeah-yeah, Monday." "Do you have my address?" "Yeah-yeah, I have it." After that encounter, I decided to give him the benefit of the doubt after reading all the positive reviews. I can deal with a bit of attitude as long as the work gets done. He showed up unannounced the next day, Thursday, at 4:36pm saying "I'm here." Surprised, but okay. I waited for him to come to my unit. He called back 5 minutes later and said he's at my door. He went to the wrong unit. I thought he had my address already. He finally showed up, walked right in and said "Where do I go?" Um, isn't it customary to introduce yourself? Nice to meet you. Sorry to show up unannounced. Shoes on or off? Put on booties? That's how every service person has behaved upon arrival. He spent less than 5 minutes in my unit, turned the faucet on/off/on/off, and then refused to do anything until the HOA shut off the main line. I tried to explain to him that each unit has a shut off valve behind the handle panel. He said "I'm not doing that. Call your HOA." He grabbed his stuff and started walking out. HOA needs at least 24 hours notice to shut off the main water to this side of the building. Plus we had our other bathroom completely remodeled without having the HOA shut off anything. He would not hear me out and just left. I still don't know his name. I've complained to the home warranty and refuse any services through this company. Rude, unprofessional, and job not done. My home warranty has assigned Aqua Fresh Plumbing on two separate claims/properties at this point. Both were good experiences where the issue was fixed same day! I didn't meet the first tech but I agree with some of the reviews their tech seems a bit impatient and has some natural condescension in his voice. But plumbers aren't trained to have bedside manners and I would much rather they be efficient in fixing the problem! Both times they came within 1 day, got the approval from home warranty within 15min, and fixed the problem with parts they had (garbage disposal in one instance, leaking pipe in another). read more

My home warranty (ORHP) assigned me to Aqua Fresh. I called them on a Monday, they said they could come Wednesday. 15 minutes before they were to arrive someone called me and said he was on his way. He had the part (garbage disposal) in his van so he could do everything in one trip. In addition to replacing the disposal, he also replaced multiple rusty pipes and made sure everything was working, and cleaned up the work area. Can't ask for more than that. read more

First off, this was work through a home warranty service, if that matters to you. He got the job done, but was not very professional. From the initial call, which I had to make to them, they answered the cal with "Hello" and nothing else. I had to confirm if I reached Aqua Fresh (AF). Next, he was not seemingly aware of the job request and I had to provide him the information to verify. Perhaps that is a failure on the home warranty company or disorganization with AF. I cannot confirm either way. Once confirmed that they were to work on my issue - shower/tub cartridge needed replacing due to water not shutting off - he said he could come the next day and was about to hang up without letting me know when. I had to ask when I can expect them. He said around 2pm. The following day, I get a call around 3pm and he asks, "You need plumbing? Can I come over now?" I said yes, then he was about to hang up when I had to ask for a time. 10 - 15 minutes. Great. He arrives and I ask if he could put on booties. He didn't seem to want to do this but says he can get some if I want. I want. I point him to the problem and he begins work. He is dropping his tools from tub height to my floor. Although accidentally, he didn't prepare or do anything to avoid potential damage to my tile floor. I placed a towel for him to place his tools safely on my floor. After the cartridge was replaced, I turn on the water to the house and he tests. Water is flowing as expected and is in the tub where he is sitting. His booties are now wet, of course. Once done he gets out of the tub and is walking around my bathroom floor with wet booties, then down the hall. He did try to "clean up" the floor by using his foot to wipe the towel I provided for his tools on the wet floor. I just stopped him and said I would take care of that. He then proceeds to walk down my hallway with his wet booties and tracking water all over my wood floors. At this point, the job was done and I just want him out. He got the job done, which it the most important part. It wasn't the most pleasant experience, but my wife now has a shower she can use again. Not sure if I would recommend them due to their professionalism, but .... Giving a 3 only because the job was done. FWIW, he was also a slow worker. Perhaps he doesn't get paid enough and it shows with his work. If so, that is unfortunate on both ends. Trades people should get paid properly, but that doesn't mean they should let it out on their customers either. read more

An update: I actually got a competent plumber to come and take a look and he was able to diagnose the issue in less than 15 minutes. It was plumbing issue that was affecting the flow of water. He was also able to fix the issue in the next 10 minutes. This cements my views posted earlier about AF plumbing. If the plumber assigned had just bothered to do his job and check a few things we could have resolved this a week in advance and i did not have to pay out of pocket. read more

Worst experience with any contractor for me so far. They called 10min before they came. We had two valves that were leaking and some more that were close to their end. Were assigned this company through our insurance. He said he'll leave to get parts and then just never came back. We had to follow up and then he said that the valves were not leaking yet, so he can't do the work as it's not covered by insurance. He must have only checked one or two that in our opinion were optional to replace and then called it a day. Will now have to call insurance and get someone else or charge back the deductible. read more
