So wish I could do 0 stars. This company is a total scammer. Home warranty company sent him out. 1st appointment no one showed up. UGH! 2nd appointment he did show up. As one review said only available 11-12. I had a blockage...typically happens ever two years. They usually snake it and I'm good for another two years. This guy came with a 30 foot snake and no other equipment and in a little honda. Obviously didn't resolve my blockage and tried to convince me I needed pipes redone at the cost of $4,000. Said he'd call the warranty company and say I had a leak so they would cover part of the cost and I would only have to pay the difference and scheduled an appointment for a week out since he commented he had no other appointments available. I did not have a leak. Well....I was a bit skepticable and called my son in law. He is not a plumber but in general construction. He borrowed a bigger snake from his job site and ....suspense buliding....he was able to completely resolve my blockage. No $4,000 bill. Please be careful...from the reviews I've read I'm not the first person he has pulled this on. read more

Udate Beware: After we canceled the follow on repaid visit with the service provider, we contacted our home warranty provider to treat the condition as a pre-existing condition. This is strange, especially since the service provider had scheduled a follow on visit to fix the damage and reported the leak as a pre-existing condition after we had a fallout. I feel like I am penalized because we had a fallout and did not want to engage with service provider anymore. === Our home warranty service assigned the service provider to check out multiple issues ( including piping leaks in the bathroom, water filtration and pressure systems, and toilet issues). The service provider initially visited on 2/20/23 and only inspected the Piping leak. The service provider was rushed, insisted on collecting the visit fee, and assured us they could check the other issues when they returned to repair the piping leak on 2/28th. I messaged the service provider on the 24th to reconfirm so I could make work arrangements. The service provider confirmed the appointment on 2/28. On the 28th morning, at 10.05 am, the service provider sent a text message stating, "Good morning, this is the plumbing contractor. I can be there on Friday between 11-12 if that works." I found the lack of common courtesy and utter disregard for our situation and time highly unprofessional. read more

He tried to convince me that I needed to replace the sewer line which would not be covered by the warranty company. He quoted me $4000-$5000. Luckily, I decided I needed a second opinion and called my regular plumber. The problem was resolved in 45 minutes by a competent plumber for $185. This gentleman also claimed to the insurance company that he had hydrojetted the line which he did not. He is not a plumber, he is a scam artist. read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Home warranty sent them out. He shows up in some beater pickup filled with trash. No company logo. No real receipt. He tried to charge us $1800 OUT OF POCKET in addition to what warranty covered to replace hot water heater. We passed on that but moved forward with getting the shower valve replaced. He said he'd have to open up the wall. My husband was working out of town, I think he totally took advantage of me. I had to schedule him to come back when my mom was here to do the work. I had to pay him the $100 deductible before he left that initial day. When he came back, instead of opening the wall and doing what he contracted with Sears to do, he replaced the gaskets but charged sears the full cost, said he did the COMPLETE job scope. Other reviews where it's not home warranty work seem favorable. Maybe he's just scamming sears because sears doesn't care too much? read more

My home warranty sent this company out. The plumber Ryan (owner of the business) arrived smelling like a chain smoker. Tried to upsale me on some plumbing work that was overpriced and not requested or needed at time of service. He took the faucet back to his workshop and said he'd return in about an hour with the replacement part. He called me and told me his partner would be bringing the replacement faucet. Partner , Sean, also smelled like a chain smoker. Reason I keep mentioning the smoke is my husband has asthma and cigarette smoke sends him into a full blown asthma attack. Sean put the faucet back on and after he had already collected the deductible he informed me that he didn't caulk around the brand new faucet because the home warranty didn't cover it. Sean said he could caulk the new faucet for an extra fee. My deductible is supposed to cover the entire job. Not piece milled work. Sean left and I called the home warranty immediately. They were appalled and said that of course caulking was needed and expected for a new faucet and covered as part of the faucet replacement. Home warranty called the plumbers back. Plumbers argued that the home warranty won't pay them for the caulking. The plumber was forced to offer a return visit by the warranty company, however after so much lost time and not wanting the smoke stench back in my house again I declined. So I'm left with a new faucet and no caulking because the plumber was trying to penny pinch the entire time. read more

Our carbon monoxide detector recently went off. With two small children in the house, we were alarmed. After having PG&E inspect our home, they detected a CO leak near our water heater. The technician shut off our water heater and said that we needed to have it repaired. The water heater is still under warranty, and Aqua was selected to dispatch a technician. He arrived later that night, after surveying the situation, said that the following needed to be replaced: 1) water heater ($1,000+), 2) flue vent ($245, out of warranty), 3) shutoff valve ($60, in warranty). Despite being skeptical of the proposed costs (I know almost nothing about heating and plumbing systems), I took him at his word. The same technician returned the next day to do the work. Fortunately for us, at the time we believed the water heater was out of warranty. The work that was done looked solid. PG&E dispatched another technician for a safety check later that night. He determined that the cause of the CO leak was dust around the base of the water heater. After clearing the caked on dust, the CO levels were tested well below tolerable limits. So we just paid $300 for unnecessary work which was fixable by a home vacuum. In addition, the problem would have resurfaced as he did not address the problem. My warranty company contacted this company on my behalf and was not able to recover any funds. If you find yourself in a similar situation, make sure your water heater is clean! read more

Every time we opened a faucet or flushed the toilet there would be a loud humming noise coming from some pipes in the garage. I called our home warranty and they sent out Aqua. Ryan was the person who came out, and he was professional and courteous. He tested several spouts to figure out the root of the issue, and it turns out, our water pressure was too low.
