Promo Plumbing did work in the neighborhood and left a mess behind. Dirt was left all over the street and in front of multiple homes, including mine. At least three of their workers saw that my drain had filled with dirt from their work and completely ignored it. Neighbors had to spray water themselves just to try to clear the dirt from their driveways, and the dirt ended up clogging my drain and piling up in front of my house. They were working for over a week on a one-way street, blocking access the entire time, and still couldn't take the time to clean up after themselves. Very unprofessional and inconsiderate to the neighborhood. I would not recommend this company. read more

This is a family business that takes prior to their work. Pricing was about 1/4 of the quote I got from RotoRooter for some major bathroom overhaul, which even included knocking a hole in my wall board in order to check the vent piping going through the roof. Their work was quick, clean, and good. They also were almost always a bit late, close to an hour late. I would definitely use them again though! read more

We had an issue with the tub not draining due to a stuck drain. I called Promo on a Sunday and got an appointment promptly and within my schedule. Daniel noodled with the fixture and got the tub draining again without breaking anything (which arguably would have happened if this DIYer had tried!!) Experience counts for a lot! We're very pleased with the replacement of our house main water shutoff valve by Promo Plumbing last week. The technician arrived on time, quickly confirmed the failure of our (very old) valve, then installed a new one that's working great. So happy to share the first yelp review for Moe Veimau and PROMOE Plumbing! We found Moe through Luigi from "The Water Heater Guys", who are awesome too! Our shower drain wasn't working correctly. It would initially start to drain, but soon would back up into the shower. Since we didn't know exactly what the cause was, we needed someone who could run a camera down the line to see what was happening with the drain line. We were a bit worried, because it seems in the Bay Area, so many companies are charging ridiculous prices and do shoddy work. Fortunately, our experience with Moe was only positive!! After calling him, we learned that Moe's speciality is snaking/scoping out drain lines using state-of-the-art cameras and clearing drain lines, which is exactly what we needed. Moe and his son, Daniel, came over right away. They have all the latest equipment, including specialized super small drain cameras, which other companies don't have. Moe's work truck was also very well organized, which I've learned is often a good indicator of the workmanship you're going to get. They first inspected the shower function and then went into our crawl space, to see if there were any obvious plumbing issues. Right away, Moe noticed that our drain pipes weren't strapped properly and one had started to sag. The sag was clear to see and I was very grateful he pointed this out. Next, he set up his equipment and began the snake/camera footage. Moe was explaining everything that he saw, which was good because it looked like a CT scan to me. Moe arrived at the blockage and was able to snake it out. He tested the shower function again and ran the snake camera one more time, just to make sure the line was clear. Success!! No more backed up showers! Before leaving, Moe shared additional helpful information, which I found really insightful. Moe truly cares about his customers and doing the job right. Promo Plumbing is an excellent plumbing service. They are exactly who you want coming to your house for professional work. They arrive when they say they will, get to work, complete what they say they will and clean up after they are done. We used them for a bathroom remodel and more. Water and waste pipes were moved along with vent stacks. I also used them to replace 60+ year old galvanized water and sewer pipes under the house which was quite a job.
