First time checking out the Aquarium location and it was so much better than the downtown spot! The food was really good, and our server Rob made the whole experience even better. He was super attentive and took his time walking us through the menu. The big tank was packed with all kinds of fish, including a leopard shark which was a cool surprise. We're usually Landry's people when we're in Kemah, but we'll definitely be coming here next time instead. read more

Service was good too but the food is not great and I need the food to be great. after a hot day at the boardwalk. Allen welcomed up at the aquarium from the beginning and was our great host for our meal. It was my sons fifth birthday and he accommodated us in front of the tank so that my son and family can enjoy their meal. Food was excellent complaints to the chef for our burgers. What ever we need Allen tended to us with excellent care. I commend him for taking care of us and tending to us at the table. We ordered a dozen oysters on the half shell and from initial appearance they were normal, with the exception that they looked a bit glassy. After putting the first one in our mouths everything changed. They were clearly not fresh, with a musty flavor. We examined the shells to discover that they could not have been opened anytime in the recent past. The shells were polished at the place where a Shucker would have scraped the oyster from its attachment point, leaving no signs of residual meat. This told me the oysters had probably been taken from a jar, harvested days earlier (God knows how many days earlier) and placed in reused shells. We paid our bill and left, praying we don't get sick because of their shortcuts. read more
