Horrible. Lines out the wazoo. hours to get on a slide, hours to get a hamburger. The park is at capacity and they are not letting in yet food venues are only half open and extremely short staffed. If you cannot staff then just close the food venues, stop selling 50 dollar add-ons that you cannot even use. If you are that short staffed then the at capacity should be a lot lower number. Everything was filthy, We ended up cutting our losses and left since you couldn't even get in the wave pool it was elbow to elbow. Oh and we won't even mention the fights that they had to ring sheriffs in to break up. Oh wait, I just did. Wow, whoever design this place needs to be shot. There are TWO kids area, both of them have 3 to 4 way's to get in and out of. Both of them are so large, that you can't keep your eye's on your kids. Translation, they get a ton of lost kids. In fact, so many that they have to make announcements about if your child is lost, remember to go check in at the lost kids cabana by the wave pool. So if your going there, just tell your kids ahead of time they will get lost and wear to go. Really, I kid you not. Outside of that, it has slides, it has food (when it's open) and it has a METRIC TON OF PEOPLE.. HOLY COW it's crowded. (Even if you say, took out the pandemic panic.. it's STILL just to many people) Oh and how do I say this... look, man.. if you fancy the island man, you smoke da good ganji you know mon... you'll love this crowd cause you'll smell dat stuff all over the place bro! Water parks aren't my favorite thing but I was really looking forward to aquatica after hearing so many great things. It definitely did not live up to the hype. The park was very disorganized and dirty. The bathrooms were disgusting, if you needed a life vest good luck finding them, and I just saw trash everywhere. The employees were okay. The wave pool felt small. I did like that they had a countdown and you had two sides to choose from but still felt very cramped. The lazy river was very cool that you could see fish or dolphins, but the lifeguards were not great about making sure people just kept floating. Twice we got stuck in float pile ups because people would stand there waiting for the animals or watching them. Their faster paced river was a fun concept but also a bit chaotic between not having available life vest if you wanted them and just people piling up on each other. Also the lifeguards were inconsistent with rules. One person was using the life vest as a board to lay on and got yelled at another lifeguard didn't care. The slides looked like fun but didn't feel like waiting, my friend waited for one and said she thought she got beat up going down because of how rough it was. Boring! We tried a slide where we were supposed to see dolphins. It was so quick that we saw only water in our eyes. Be prepared to pay $30 for a locker. It says $15 on the web but ain't that. You don't get towels so be prepared to run wet everywhere. The waves pool: if you are a germophobic person- be aware that some people are not be shy to blow their nose and throw whatever cones out in the same water. Went on 7/5. Got a cabana ($399) and were so disappointed. The fan is worthless and the sun just beats into the cabana and you can't even sit on the burning chairs. At least they give you 10 water bottles and a locker. So worth that, let me tell you. The privacy shades only cover the corner poles. Website pictures are misleading. If you need shade or an area to keep your kids cool and covered don't bother spending the money. Hold a towel over their head. It will work better. Would have been better in those loungers for way less money. The kid area has lots of things for them to do, but the slides were closed for half the day. Many of the toddlers were so understanding, so it was just fine. 2 and 3 year olds really grasp the concept of having to close the slides for a variety of reason. It was easy for them to wait for the slides to open back up. Food is really disgusting. The unlimited all day ($45 something) dining is a joke. Don't bother. The lines are so long and we threw most of the food in the trash because it was inedible. Get some ($14) chips and a drink at one of those little stores. At least you can eat that. If you want to ride any of the rides, good luck. Buy the quick queue ($100)if you plan to do anything. We were prepared for lines, but they don't move because the quick queue riders skip right by everyone. For every queue rider, it stops a regular riders from going. They let every single queue rider on before anyone else. Good job Aquatica at forcing guests to upgrade if they want to ride ANYTHING. Maybe limit the amount of queue riders to skip the lines on each ride. Or sell drinks and add some bathrooms and entertainment to the lines. You might as well pee in the water because the bathroom are disgusting. It smells like backed up raw sewage. Follow the smell and you can find the closest bathroom. Don't even need those maps. Get yourself some of those water shoes if you plan on walking anywhere. The ground is so hot it burns off a layer of your skin. At least have someone every 50 feet to water the ground so people can walk. Those whole 4 ground sprayers throughout the park don't help. All that extra money from nickel and diming people, I'm sure they can have some extra hose holding employees to be added to the budget. Or have a trolley available to the closest burn unit. We are locals and have been to Aquatica many times. We will never go again. Save your time and money and make the drive to Daytona Lagoon. eta: parking wasn't too bad because we purchased the upgrade and got there early. It was filling up quick though. I would suggest purchasing at least the mid level upgrade. I can't even imagine what regular parking is like. Acquatica rented cabana as we are 2 handicap adults plus 1 swnior and they won't let us change 2 children chairs for a lounger. Now out of 4 towls 2 are dirty with make-up and dirt on them. Plus the top of the gazebo is ripped. The gazebo was very expensive 450$ US. For the money, I would expext cleaner. As we told them we had 2 handicap, I expected a little bit more support for a small accommodation. I would like to say the staff was nice but they were not. As we are mobility impaired the gave us a cabana far away when we asked for close. There was no one here at the time and we were told it was first come first serve. WORST experience ever!!! We arrived at the water park, and it was terribly hot outside. Apparently, the water park does not limit ticket sales, so it was completely packed with people. There were tons of people in the pools, and to slide down the slides, you had to wait for more than an hour. 40 minutes after our arriving, they announced impending rain and closed all the slides and pools. No one said when they would reopen. In the end, we waited for three hours, only to be told that the water park would remain closed for the rest of the day. As a result, we spent three hours waiting near the pool and only managed to swim in one pool for a couple of minutes. My boyfriend and I bought two one-day tickets and paid an additional $40 for a locker at the park, waste of money. We filled out a refund request form on the website over a month ago due to the bad weather, but we have never received any refund. read more

Myself & two children purchased the annual pass. This was a complete waste of $350. June 2023 on a Monday we visited the park. We did not get to ride any of the slides as the wait times exceeded more then an hour per slide. Waiting in nearly 100F this simply can't be done with children. Attempts to call Aquatica customer service the next day to inquire about the current slide wait times failed. I waited over 3 hours for a call back from there customer service without success. It seems impossible to speak with a real person at this company. This park is not equipped to handle the visitor capacity they allow. They stonewall you when you try to contact them. read more

Unfortunately as a family of 6 who traveled to Orlando in August we didn't know we should check the weather before booking at seaworld or aquatica.. we based our trip around these two parks and both days it rained here and there and a little thunder but... for most of the day all rides and attractions were closed . We got a cabana and meals the whole nine yards at aquatica so we spent a minimum of $1000 at aquatica alone.i was not going to write a review as they can't control the weather but, it has been 3 months and i have not heard back from any of my "rainy day guarantee" messages through their portal I even re sent a message through their portal in October thinking they missed my first one and nothing still... unfortunate we lost out on so much and have heard zero feedback..I tried to call but, there's really no option to talk to anyone read more

Lots of fun. Especially now though it's still clogging up and shutting down lots of summer afternoons and weekends. Best to go early and leave early. Unless you want to risk an hour plus traffic exodus when they shutter up to inclement weather. Been there done that. We usually eat a hearty breakfast and late lunch after but if you're here for the day, best food option is when they're grilling burgers and hot dogs. Otherwise, mnmn. No. We usually bring fruits, small snacks, and frozen water freely not to mention keeping a car cooler chock full of goodies. Recommend getting a locker ($15) as a home base to store cards, cash, sun tan lotions, etc. but you might could do without it. Plenty of chairs to grab when you come early. Maybe we grip it and rip it too much but I'm coming home pretty scraped and bruised up. Without flops, my feet get torn up! Our goal was to get in and get out as quickly as possible. Mission accomplished. Here's how it went down: We had "free" tickets (and free parking) to Aquatica as part of our discovery cove and hotel ultimate package. They opened at 9, we arrived at 8:40 and had to wait in car line for about 15 mins just to park. Tip- stay in left lane of 2 lane car line b/c it veers off into multiple lanes while right lane does not. Also take note of exactly where you parked! We were able to go through priority bag check line b/c of our ultimate package, but it took an unnecessary conversation with the bag attendant who was literally doing nothing, to convince her/show priority card so she would do her job. Immediately go get a locker if you need one - you will regret it later bc line to get one gets crazy. The small ones are $15! Small one holds a small backpack, that's it. But when we left for the day just before noon, I picked a random lady in locker line and gave her my locker number and code to save her $15 and the line wait, so take that Aquatica! Ok so it is around 9:05am now (come already dressed with sunscreen, don't mess around people!) and our goal is to ride a few rides before there are lines. We (family of 4) immediately went to manta ride and the one beside it. Pretty fun. Even being almost first we probably had to wait 15 mins for manta. Then we did a couple others and were done with rides for the day. Time for lazy river, rapid river, kiddie area, wave pools. I think that was it. The rapid river thing was fun. By then it was 11:30ish and we were done. All the rides had prob 1-2 hour waits by now and things were getting crowded. Time to go! We enjoyed our brief 2.5 hour visit, but I'm certain it would have been unbearable had we stayed longer due to ever-growing crowd. read more

We stood in line for one slide forever only to find it was broken down, yet no staff member said anything to anyone. It was guests who had to pass along the information. We ordered a family meal to be delivered to our cabana. The order was wrong, they didn't provide any extra plates or silverware for the family to use. The park was too crowded, it seemed like a free for all at the entire park. At the end of the day, our family didn't get to ride one slide after spending so much money here. What happened to the Summer Splash event at Aquatica? They were talking about this on iheart for the past few weeks. I didn't win a prize however it was a reasonable price so I bought two tickets and the event was supposed to take place tonight. I was on the aquatica website today and looked at my email regularly. I was never notified that the event was canceled. I live on the opposite side of town. It was a cluster trying to figure out parking as the entrance was closed. We finally park only to see security pull down the gates. We walked over to customer service, where we were rudely told the event was cancelled at the last minute. I was never informed by email or on the aquatica/iheart radio stations websites. And customer service at aquatica just rudely said I'll be refunded in 3-5 days. This whole situation was handled poorly, and I am very disappointed in Sea World/Aquatica and the Iheart companies. I get it. Things get canceled. But we could have received an email. An announcement could have been posted to the websites and social media. Please make the necessary changes in events moving forward. read more

I do not normally leave bad reviews, only because I do not want a company's bad day to be a reflection of all of the work behind something that has taken a lot of work to get together for years on end. However, I hope this is helpful so another family does not have to go through what we did. We were on a family vacation and decided to make a visit to the water park, as our five year old loves the water & slides. We purchased all of our tickets online before going, to save some time. Upon our arrival the general admission parking was $30! Once we tried to get in only two of our four tickets were registering. The gate attendant asked that we go to guest services to have them printed off. I stood in line for thirty minutes to then explain that the tickets for our other two family members worked. They told me the PDF file I had in my email as a confirmation is fine and to get back in line to enter the park. Upon getting back in line to enter the park for another twenty minutes, the tickets yet again would not work. I asked the gate attendant to call a manager over because I was not going to get back in line to be told the same thing again. The manager would not answer the phone, so I went back to the guest services desk. The woman was angry and printed a piece of paper off and said, "There. Try that I guess." Once we got into the park, we decided to go ahead and get lunch. We purchased the all day dining tickets. There was no shade provided while standing in the sun. Two of our family members remained standing in line, as I took our five year old to the front and asked if we could stand inside to prevent her from overheating. Another visitor told me that they had been in line for over an hour and a half and there was still no chance of being served within reason. All of us decided to go to the gift shop area to just get some water. With the five year old's health being our biggest concern. They only had bottles of Coke and Sprite available. I was able to purchase the last bottle of water that was found laying on the ground by the cooler. There was no available seating anywhere and it was overcrowded. I am not sure what the capacity is, however when we paid for parking the lady made a comment that they already had 18,000 people there. There was overflowing trash bins, lifeguards on their phones, no available medical tents aside, and for food/ water they were unable to keep up with the demand. I would never recommend this park to anyone. Especially if you have younger children involved. Please beware. It's too pricey to waste your time. read more

Had a great time at Aquatica today. The photo key employee went above and beyond for us today. She took photos of us at the entrance and at the lazy river. The lazy river with life jackets is an absolute blast because of the speed. There was a great balance of thrill and family friendly rides. I would suggest pursuing a waterproof phone holder before you get there. I got one on amazon for probably about $10.00 and aquatica was selling them closer to $30-35.00. There was literally no waits for anything and the park was pretty empty. The wave pool was fun but needed to be cleaned. There were tons of leaves and sand at the bottom of the pool. Where to start... We booked for a Tuesday and they closed the park at the last minute and did not communicate with us at all. I spent around 2 hours on the phone with customer service fighting because they wanted to upcharge me $100US (on top of the $750US i had already forked out) to change my day to Friday (keep asking for supervisor, eventually they cave). When we finally got to the park we quickly discovered that many of the rides were closed, again no warning. I will say we enjoyed the beach sand. The rides that were open were fun and exciting. The rapids lazy river was really nice and everyone enjoyed that. The kids area was very big and had lots of options for smaller children. We did have a good time despite many negatives. They charge $30 for parking and $30 for locker rentals? The food prices were insane. We paid for the dine all day but barely got in our second meal. most of the restaurants started closing an hour before closing. The kids liked the pizza.... other then that the food was sub par. Most of it tasted like it was cooked in the morning and just kept warm all day. If i had to pay the actual prices for that food i would have lost my mind. the workers were messing around the entire time while we were waiting in line and started giving pep talks instead of allowing for the line to move quicker. one out of 4 of the drop slides were running because jessica had already broken the blue one earlier in the day. she then went on to break the green after sending it multiple times to show how it worked. the quick lime immediately walked up and went on causing the line to take even longer. one of the worst water parks i have been to and i will not be coming back. do not expect for good service of fast lines. choose disney water parks or universal over this one. horrible experience. most slides and wave pools were also closed for priority of the day. definitely a bad working waterpark read more

Swarms of families and kids went through the Quick Queue lanes without a wristband while the rest of us respectively waiting in 1-2 hour long lines. We went for the entire day and only got on 4 rides. In one line a group of kids went running up the quick lane without wristbands yelling "see you dont even need the wristbands!" When we brought it up to the slide worker at the top he just shrugged his shoulders and was like oh my bad and went about letting more and more people through without paying for wristbands. What a great time we had at this water park. The lines moved rather quickly and there was so much to do. If you chose not to do the rides then you could lounge in the lazy river or slap on a life jacket and you could circle around in the rapids which we did for about an hour. So much fun. They also had a wave pool section which was almost like a beach. They had a separate section for smaller children. The park was expertly done with plenty of locker/restroom areas and concession stands. We came here on a rainy day and to our amazement as long as it didn't thunder it stayed open all day! Aquatica is a affordable price with a good assortment of fun. They have over 10 or more different rides and they are all fun. They have a lazy river where you can view fish and a dolphin. There is also a fun swimming area called Roas rapids. It feels like your floating through rapids. There is a wave pool and a children's play area with lots of slides. We arrived at the park by 11 and left by 430 and we were able to experience every ride once which I find awesome! As for other amenities they offer lots of food options. We didn't eat here but we saw tasty looking food. The only downfall of our visit is honestly the charges for parking, lockers and even towels. Make sure you bring your own lunch and towels if you wanna save money. Also they advertise sea life being here but there is only two dolphins and fishes but those are still cool to see in a water park. read more

My son and I love it here. I bought an annual pass when they had them on sale for Florida residents back in February. It's the perfect place to cool off during the summer months when a drive further to the beach isn't feasible. Each time we visit, it feels like we are on vacation. I love Aquaticas rides but everything else needs help. The customer service desk is extremely rude. We have had to use them twice and both times were faced with rude employees who were very obviously over their jobs. The first time were went there was a group of 4-5 little girls spitting over the bridge into the lazy River trying to hit guests in the head. The second time we went there was human feces in the wave pool. I've tried contacting customer service regarding this situation and to cancel my annual pass through email, chat and phone and it's impossible. My family and I had a great time at Aquatica! We are season pass holders and have the pass that allows us to visit 4 parks, which is a great deal if you are a local. We read the FAQs on the website before going and knew yo not bring outside food or drinks, but we did bring our refillable waters bottles and were not told we couldn't bring them in. We got there about 30 minutes after they opened to secure a good place to set up our towels, shoes, and sunscreen. They do have lockers, but we did not use them. Many rides do not allow you to wear shoes, so keep that in mind. There are shoe storage areas at different ride spots, but many people just choose to go barefoot (beware of scalding hot sand and cement!). The rides do not have times posted for line length, and those lines can get pretty long! This is something I wish they would add because we definitely waited way too long for the Reef Plunge ride and would have just skipped it if we knew how long the line would be. Just a side note on that ride, it is fun--but do not expect to actually see any fish while you are sliding through! You are going way to fast and there will be water in your eyes. It is a fun slide, but not the magical experience that you may be expecting. Our girls loved all of the raft/inner tube rides and spent the entire ride home talking about their favorite ones. The also loved the roa's rapids, which is the lazy River on steroids. We ate lunch at waterside grill. Food prices are theme park prices for sure! They can make an impossible burger for you upon request if you have a vegetarian In the group. The fish sandwich was a hit with one person in our group. The bacon jam hamburger got lukewarm reviews. Got to park WITH A RESERVATION in my hand and was told overbooked to come back at 3pm. 6/5 i arrived at 12:30 pm didn't want to wait 2.5 more hours. so 6/12 said i would go early left 9 am got there 10:30am waited in line to get in parking till 12pm then a mass of people walked out of park NO OFFICALS CAME OUT a person walking by said they were overbooked come back at 3pm. I pay for a platinum pass and make a reservation and get turned away twice. This is totally unacceptable. I called 6/5 and was put on hold for 2 hours to finally get a supervisor that gave me a comp ticket for my daughter. So 6/12 I wasted my time my wife's time and my daughters time. I called to complain again they said so sorry you only get the one comp ticket. I told them to cancel my passes they said so sorry you have a contract. I told them I supported them through the pandemic and kept my passes now I can't use them. This It VERY VERY WRONG. You make a reservation with an airline they overbook they give you a free ticket. I never experienced chaos, until I came here. It was like being in Battle of the bastards on Game of Thrones. there was a 2 1/2 hour wait for chicken strips. People were cutting all the lines that were causing fights. There was an hour wait at the grab and go, people started cutting the line and just started stealing the food. I've never seen anyone hit and then scream at their kid calling them a m@ther $&cker until today. You me not be able to bring in food , but people were sure bringing in weed. You could smell it all over the park . The security guards were too busy dealing with the missing kids to address any other issues. I did alert them to the stealing , and line cutting . It's $30 for parking , not $25 . I left after 2 hours because the knights of the veil , never came to my rescue. read more

Its just too busy and expensive even with half off. $30 for a locker, $30+ for parking, and if its hot out expect to get 2nd degree burns on your feet unless u wear something on your feet all day.
