This place I have been coming to this place since it opened I don't know how many years ago. I always get the beef soup, Mexican beef soup is delicious here. The problem is the manager does not want to accept my loyalty card he says it expired too many years ago, but I've been carrying it for many years hoping that one day the owner will consider giving me what was promised. I believe my loyalty should be rewarded.

4 Piece Fried Chicken w/ Biscuit

I was really digging the hole-in-the-wall vibe and was hoping for the whole diamond-in-the-rough thing. But alas, it was just ok. They have a lot going on with fried chicken, pizza, burritos, cheesesteaks and fried fish plates. So I get that it's hard to really stand out in any one thing. 4 Piece Fried Chicken: It's better than Safeway fried chicken, but it doesn't compare to Popeye's. It reminded me of that gas station fried chicken in the Mission, Krispy Krunchy Chicken. It had a nice crunch, but the meat was a bit dry. Especially the breast, which is usually one of my favorite pieces. The drumstick was good though, since the overcooking addressed the sliminess issue many joints have. Biscuit: Very dry. Also, tasted a bit too doughy. Like when you undercook Pillsbury dough a little. Mashed Potatoes: Very skimpy on the gravy. Like I ran out after about 4-5 spoonfuls. The potatoes were really smooth, remind of the boxed stuff. I suppose it's standard quality at fried chicken fast food joints, but it wouldn't fly at a family Thanksgiving. Frozen Mango Drink: It was cold and sweet, but super fake tasting. Like what you'd expect an artificially mango popsicle to taste like.

This crack in the wall restaurant has some many food options. Pizza, Latino food, fried chicken and other stuff. I ate lamb shank with yellow rice and plantains, and it was delicious. The place seems to have good food safety practices.

They have a good variety of food, that's made well. We've used them for catering for a bunch of times and they delivered. Bomb choices: fried chicken, pasta, salmon, bbq, fajitas, fresh juice, fruit platters. Jose is quick to respond, is very kind/professional and is very helpful w our needs. We'd def go back!!

I really like their Cheesepizza, it is very delicious. While I was waiting I was offered a soup for free which was also very delicious. They also have good priced Arabian food like Falafel that looked very good but have not tried yet. Bottom line, wide variety of food for a good price and good quality. Only downside is that they close quite early

21.07.25 This review is ONLY for the DARK MEAT FRIED CHICKEN ---------- 4 - 4.5 of 5 Didn't try the pizza nor other dishes so review is soley on dark meat fried chicken Luckily I chanced on a newly made batch! The meat was well seasoned ... Just right Nice crispy seasoned crust Large pieces KFC ... Past few years on a diet ... Skinny Popeye ... Comparable ... Might even be Slightly more seasoned than Popeye There is NO such thing as BEST fried chicken MANY are VERY GOOD ... UNLESS ... Dry No seasonings Skinny Over Priced (Come on ... $26 bucks ... Not even a whole chicken!! Maybe blessed and raised by the POPE) Yes ... I do fine dining ... But ... Some are BS Sitting around too long under heat lamp Boned in w skin is ALWAYS better than tenders/strips nuggets boneless skinless

Solo las papas sin pinche pollo. Only the fries without the chicken I ordered. Please don't buy here. Porfavor no compren aqui.

Peor lugar que e ido, pedi una bandeja de papas y pollo i me dieron puras putas papa. Worst place if ever visited, I ordered a giant bowl of fires and chicken and they only gave me my fucking fries. Please don't come here it's a total rip off.

    Fried chicken. Very delicious.

We came here because we have a restaurant.com certificate. I know some restaurants still takes the certificate but some doesn't. I asked the staff if they still take the certificate and they have to consult with the manager/owner. The manager informed us that they are still accepting it. He's really nice and make sure we know how the certificate works. We ordered the chicken and tender combos which includes fried chicken, chicken tender, biscuits, and large fries. We also ordered a pesto gnocchi. All togo orders. Everything is delicious. They gave us lots of sauces. We love the food diversity in this restaurant. Staffs are friendly. The food are hot and delicious. We love the biscuits the most. It is blueberry biscuits with honey. We love that biscuits! Will definitely go back to this restaurant again.

This place has everything when you are looking to find something different in the area. It sounds the same but it is a little different than most restaurants in the area. I got the chicken tenders and they were good with the red beans and rice. I like the taste and the portions were good in city standards. Better option than fast food . The blueberry biscuits were delicious.

Crispy Shrimp. 5 piece only $6.99. Never got sauce with it.

"New Orleans Famous"? Nothing about this food is from New Orleans! It also tastes like reheated Sysco food.

I ordered the carnitas burrito and my husband ordered the carne asada one. We also asked the guys for a salsa picante and their house made one delivered! The ingredients were tasty, well seasoned and fresh. Service is quick, food and ambiance are no frills and cash only. I think about this burrito daily and am willing to travel across the country to get it again. Not to mention, but this is a Mission style burrito in the Mission! This is the only way to do it and I now totally understand the hype.

A few people were already in there eating, and we know this place is good, as a few others in our group and I have been here multiple times. The Taqueria is typical of any other, with bench-style chairs for folks to sit on, a water station, and workers cooking it up in the kitchen. I wasn't too hungry, so I grabbed a Super Lengua Taco, while my friends grabbed burritos, we ended up grabbing 3 complimentary chips and guac/salsa with our order and the food came out pretty quickly. When I saw my Taco I forgot how much they stuffed it and wow, two of these would've filled me up just like a taco; there was so much Lengua that it kept falling off after every bite. The flavors all came together and I scruffed down the whole thing after about 6+ bites! Definitely a place to come to if you're looking for a full meal, or something to snack on!

After all this time, this place still delivers and we were so happy to see their 2025 Michelin sticker. My go-to order is the super burrito, no beans, dorado grilled. Get the bottle of the green salsa for the table and squirt on each bite. Mmmm... it really is magical. So good. The strawberry Fresca is still refreshing and had fresh bits of fruit. We got there right at 11am and had a short wait. We enjoyed the live mariachi band. Street parking may take a few rounds, be patient. We will always stop by here anytime we are in SF. So glad it was stayed the same all of these years. Don't change a thing!

It didn't wow my socks off, but it was good and better, marginally better, not insanely better. I got a carnitas burrito with guacamole. They did not ask me what type of beans I want. I think they just gave me the default, which was fine. It worked. It tasted like a Mission burrito. I don't know how else to describe the taste. It was rich, salty in a good way, and tasted like a burrito should taste The line was around 30 minutes long for me on a Wednesday night, around 6:00 p.m. Everyone in line was very nice and was curious about the wait. It does move fast. However, I did order to go, so by the time I was three-quarters done with the line, I got to fast track to another window to just order to go. The food was made pretty quickly after I placed my order. They do take credit card
