They've changed the menu since the last time I was there. I'm not sure who'd buy a steak at a place like this for $27, but you never know. I had barbecue pork ribs that came with mashed potatoes and brown gravy(why?) and the runniest and most flavorless mac and cheese I've ever had. I substituted the mixed vegetables (again, why?) for it. No bread or a roll with barbecue? The ribs were the only part of the meal that was worth the price, but that doesn't make up for being stuck with two mundane or just wrong sides. I got some peach cobbler to bring home. I tried this through too good to go. It was not what I expected. The chicken wings were so dry and old- there was little meat and mostly hard breadcrumbs, if you want to call it that. The apple pocket was so over fried -I couldn't eat the burned corners and some of it tasted charred. The jambalaya was ok- it tasted like it had been out all day. The churro was so hard I thought I would break a tooth. Service was Okay- not really greeted upon entry but I did promptly get my food to go from the employee. Nothing complicated. 18" pizza with ham, sausage, onions and bell peppers... and a soda. Driver waited a good amount of time for them to finish (glad he didn't cancel). Pizza arrived soggy, not cut, missing sausage and garlic, and no soda. $3.99, $2.99 and $2.99, respectively. Thankfully, Uber Eats has made it a lot easier to contest missing items in their app. Took like 2 minutes. Uber Cash refund was pretty much instantaneous. I asked the staff if they still take the certificate and they have to consult with the manager/owner. The manager informed us that they are still accepting it. He's really nice and make sure we know how the certificate works. We ordered the chicken and tender combos which includes fried chicken, chicken tender, biscuits, and large fries. We also ordered a pesto gnocchi. All togo orders. Everything is delicious. They gave us lots of sauces. We love the food diversity in this restaurant. Staffs are friendly. I had been told for years the best burritos were found in the Mission. So when I was there, I went into the first place serving burritos I could find. What a mistake. The ordering process was challenging. And then I waited for my burrito. And waited. And waited. After waiting a ridiculous amount of time I was informed the burrito included the only ingredient I asked not be included.
