This small restaurant presents quite an experience you'll be happy to have. From the greeting at the door to the clean setting with attention to detail, the restaurant is set to please. We started with the arancini which carried a sweet sauce and packed plenty of flavor inside as well! My girlfriend got the eggplant parmigiana which was beautifully plated and cooked just right. Had a traditional Italian flavor to it which felt like home cooking. I choose the chicken piccata which is easily messed up in my opinion, however it was 10/10 with the sauce and the cook of the chicken. I would recommend this dish to anyone. We finished with two sweets, the blueberry cake and the tiramisu both were perfect in flavor and great plates. We will be back as the service was great and just an overall great visit. A great feel of a north end night out found in Woburn with half the budget! Keep up the great work that you are doing! read more

*This review is regarding a Doordash order, I have never physically been at the location and therefore can't comment on things such as customer service or interior. Taste: B+ Portion:B+ Price: B- This Native Long Islander exists on pizza and Alfredo, except I don't like much of what Massachusetts has to offer with either...North End aside. Arancini's is the latest place I've tried for Alfredo and I'm honestly a bit, conflicted about how I feel. It's good. I'll just say that right off the bat. Flavor wise, it's really good. The taste is on point; just enough seasoning, good pasta to sauce ratio, nice moist chicken. The downside is, there is WAY too much oil and I don't know why. Reason is, Alfredo doesn't need oil (outside of a little bit in the water used to cook the sauce). Perhaps they are using oil in the sauce, but again...why? The oil doesn't take away from the flavor but it does change the texture, not necessary in a good way. I honestly can't see myself, eating a dish already incredibly unhealthy, that is also drenched in unnecessary oil but it does taste excellent. I'm giving the four stars because its good and my "dislike" may very well be a personal preference. I think I am going to try the Alfredo without check because maybe that's were a lot of the oil is coming from. I'll update my review when I do. The last thing i'll say, sticking on the topic of oil...their bread and season olive oil is good. I mean bread is good period, we all know this. But their bread is just next level. Came to pick up for dinner. It was very packed inside. We had to wait a while for the food but I thought it was worth the wait. There is parking at the back. The building looks like it was converted from a residential house and looks like someone lives above the restaurant. Anyways, back to food... Started with the Arancini Sampler. It is a meat and spinach in breaded & fried rice-ball, served on marinara sauce. Good for appetizer. I only wish there was more than 2. Then, we have the eggplant rollatini, which is a crispy eggplant wrapped around ricotta, mozzarella, and red sauce. This was good. It is very similar to eggplant parmesan, just switched out the type of cheese. The eggplant parmesan was great as well. I loved how the eggplant was crispy and the pasta was cooked al dente to our liking. Good presentation. I would recommend. The chicken piccata is made with chicken, lemon butter sauce, and capers. I love the sour element in this dish. The chicken was cooked well with the al dente pasta. I recommend this as well. Overall, this was a nice little Italian restaurant. It looks like it is a new restaurant but based on the food, I would think the chef has a lot of experience. I definitely recommend you check this spot out. I would go back and check out other dishes. We stopped by when we were on vacation and had a great meal. The restaurant is cozy and the staff outstanding. I had chicken piccata and my husband had veal Parmesan. We split a Cesar salad. Our meals were wonderful and the protein portions rather large. My chicken and pasta had an excellent sauce that had just the right amount of lemon. Be aware parking behind the restaurant is tight, although there is on street parking nearby. We didn't need a reservation, but did call ahead, and there was a full restaurant most of the time we were there. I wish it was close to home so we could go again! read more

Small family feel restaurant with abundant charm and great food. Prices are quite modest and as a BYOB you can splurge on some "deserving" wines to accompany the great food as well did . Our party had eggplant rollatini, fried calami and the Arancini sampler for apps.. all were fantastic with very high marks for the arancini and calamari which is often oily/greasy as a rule when we have had them elsewhere. Our entrees include Veal Marsala and Bistecca, and all were grand. For desert, we had tiramisu and cannolis. Again these were a joy. The burrata appy here is excellent. Large enough for two people. BYOB is awesome so we can bring a decent wine without the mark up. The service is the shining star here. The people are over the top kind and hospitable. Small and cozy place where you can call and get a reso. Only hesitation is its super fast service. We were apps to dinner being over in 50 min. It's about time we stopped patronizing/glorifying well publicized but average restaurants and focused on what's important; quality , ambience and experience. And cost ! Dont be fooled like I was!! From the outside it sort of looks like a hole in the wall - the first floor of a house converted to commercial space (decades ago I'd imagine). The location is not anything to write home about either. To my surprise, its actually a nice restaurant with delicious food. White table clothes adorn the tables and the waiter wore a classic waiter uniform. The vibe it is trying for is a little bit old world with a touch of class. It was refreshing. The eggplant parm was delicious. It came with two large breaded eggplant pieces - cooked to perfection and fork-tender! The meatballs are delicious and beautifully sized. The sauce is the perfect balance of texture and acidity. The entree portion was modest - it left you satisfied and fed without leftovers. The bread they serve with the oil is also delicious! The prices in July 2021 are shockingly friendly. My entree and side dish could easily have been $3 more each. With pandemic related price increases as well as general inflation, this was really surprising to see. Highly recommended! read more

I can't recall how I found out about this place but I can't believe it isn't more well know. Love the environment, the food is great, and the service is top notch too. My girlfriend and I went for our anniversary tonight. Started with the eggplant rollatini, she had the chicken piccata, and I went with the chicken parm. Came down from Newburyport to have dinner with a friend from Woburn. Have to agree with everyone as to food quality and flavor. My wife and guest raved about the scampi and my bolognese was outstanding. Very attentive service and pricing was more than fair. Nice to have a byob restaurant around as drink prices are really getting out of hand. The noise level made it hard to carry on a conversation and I suspect that it was due to a party of 10 trying to yell to each other. Some additional acoustic panels would go a long way to making this an easy 5 star experience. read more

Wonderful find. Small unassuming front but warmly greeted on a Friday night. Owner Christiano comes to the table, his daughter hosts. He is Brazilian but w Italian restaurant experience. The chef knows his dishes. Classics but done to perfection. My wife claims the Marsala sauce was best she's ever had. My pasta carbonara was rich creamy cheesy and bacon-y, the definition of the dish. BYOB is a wallet-welcome treat. We brought a bottle of Brunello di Montalcino we couldn't have paid for from a wine list. Everyone there seemed to be enjoying themselves greatly and happy to have found this gem in Woburn. I was there for a small family gathering in April. They are a BYOB but that's ok... I don't drink. The Menu has some incredibly delicious entrees. We started with Arancini, there was one with a bolognese inside and another with spinach, the marinara served with it was AMAZING!! The next to come out was a beautiful Caesar salad then fried Calamari. I chose the Fra Diavolo and it was the BEST I've ever had!! The best Italian food I've had at a restaurant. As one raised with Italian grandparents living upstairs, I typically don't eat at Italian restaurants because they are not usually not that good to me. This place was spectacular. The sauce (gravy) was the best I've had since my mother died 40 years ago. The pasta was Al dente, not mushy. It's a BYOB so bring your own wine. Arancini Italian Restaurant is a small place on the Woburn/Winchester line on Main Street just north of Cross Street. It's small, not much to look at from the outside and easy to miss. But it's wonderfully decorated with a cozy elegance on the inside. The service was fantastic with Cristiano, the co-owner always there for anything we needed. Ok, now the food! The menu is amazing with a great selection of Italian dishes. The calamari was perfectly cooked, fresh with a wonderful but light breading. We had the veal parmesan and a short-rib dish...both were delicious. We finished off with a homemade blueberry shortcake that was light and incredibly good. This is my third time eating here with my boyfriend, it is so very amazing that I finally had to write a review. Impeccable service, waiter and waitresses are on top of your water, every time I've had different dishes and they have all been outstanding, they also greet you when you walk in. The Oreo cheesecake is the best cheesecake we've had out to eat. I highly recommend the Aqua Panna water, which is natural spring water from Italy. Fairly priced, for great food. Definitely make reservations, because it fills up quickly. You can bring your own bottles of alcohol. The ambiance is very relaxing and romantic.
