I have used Aranda before for sink leak and had a good experience. I had a contractor who could not finish the plumbing in a remodel in a timely manner and I called aranda for a consult, possible washer dryer line. the 2 plumbers, ARmando and Ramiro were super nice but the foreman Peter, interrupted me in a meeting, insisted I tell him the plan. This guy was so rude, it was unbelievable. When I called the manager Trish, she did not want to really listen, nor was she interested due to redo? of some work. This young man , foreman Peterdid not introduce himself to me and honestly though the other plumbers are nice, it appeared to me that this has happened before with this foreman. Needed a cartridge for my bathroom faucet. No plumbing skills but I watched a youtube video that gave me the general idea. I took the cartridge I removed to Aranda and the woman at the counter had exactly what I needed. She also handed me two other small pieces that I didn't know I needed and told me what to do with them. Aranda's was contracted and paid through escrow by the seller of the house we purchased to do hvac and water heater servicing at the close of escrow. They were paid $4385 plus tax for their work, after which the baseboard system failed to bring any of the three zones up to thermostat set point. They never strapped the hot water heater (code violation?). During a three week period in winter, they sent out three different repairmen who gave 3 differing opinions without fixing the system. Going in to the shop, we were lectured by the office manager about how to use a heating system. ?? At that point, we called Insight Mechanical. They fixed the system in one visit, replacing a zone valve and the computer board. $900 out of our pocket But we were warm. Patrick Aranda never responded to my letter explaining the situation and requesting reimbursement of the $900. As a homeowner, be wary of this company. They seem to value payment over performance. 1.12.2024: Called Aranda's, making it the 4th time I tried to use this plumber. Kohler Simplice kitchen faucet was leaking from detached handle/valve. I sent pictures of it at my sink as well as an image from the Kohler site with model number. I was texted back saying "does not help me at all I need you to bring it in." I then texted an image of the cartridge as shown by Kohler for this unit and asked if this helps. He did not reply. I called Kohler directly and learned they offer free parts replacement for life. They are shipping the parts at no cost. Aranda's are suppose to be a place to find name brand parts not just plumbing work. This is twice they were indifferent in helping locate a part. I also got a bid from them for a 4 zone min-split install using Daikin products. They were $10,000 more installed than what I eventually paid getting the hardware from Dahl Plumbing supply. This business has been around over 70 years and it's clear they count on taking every advantage of unwitting customers instead of offering fair service. read more

This is the one plumbing supply store in town that I can count on having ALL the plumbing parts and accessories I need. I had an exterior anti-siphon spigot break on Saturday morning. Although I had to wait until Monday when Aranda's was open, it was worth it not having to run all over town trying to find parts that would fit. Aranda introduced us to Korky toilet repair supplies which are easy to install and change. We needed new flappers this year. When reading info on the packaging, we learned that Lavelle Industries will replace them free of charge if they wear out prior to five years! We called their tech support agent, Perla Paniagua in Wisconsin, and she was amazing!!!***** Rather than have us mail the old one back, etc., Perla asked us to send a photo; then promptly sent a new one! .The owner needs to know that someone in his company posed as an order taker/scheduler and set an appointment . When they never showed up after a number of calls they finally said we were never scheduled .,This is from the real scheduler and she was sorry. Some guy pulled a prank on her and she thought I was nuts. But my pipes are still leaking 1/2 gallon /hour in a desert community , Santa Fe New Mexico that needs every drop it can get. If I could put minus stars I would! Beware of high prices, shoddy work and TERRIBLE customer service. I came in with a request for a soft copper pipe with flared fittings. They produced the pipe as asked but when I got to the jobsite and installed it, it leaked badly from the flared fittings. After removing the pipe I found that the flares were done extremely poorly. Later in the day I brought the pipe back to show them the shoddy work and ask for a refund. The manager then accused me of damaging the pipe and refused a full refund. I argued my case for a while and then left never to return. Save yourself a headache and go to Big Joe's Hardware instead for your plumbing parts. I went to them after Aranda's mistake. They put out discount cards to get your business, but good luck getting them to either show up, schedule a meeting, or refer you to another plumber. In summary, marginal work quality, poor customer service, and beware of price gouging. Here are the details: I called Aranda's and requested that they send out an expert to diagnose and fix a problem with a recirculating pump that should speed up delivery of hot water to my kitchen sink. The issue had been occurring for some time and prior attempts to fix it by others had failed, so I emphasized that I needed someone who knew what they were doing. The plumber that came out could neither diagnose nor fix the issue. While at my home he identified a very small leak in the cold water line coming into my water heater and said he could fix it the next day "in about two hours" by replacing two valves. I received no further estimate on the job at that time (Aranda's poor business practice, but my mistake for proceeding anyway). When the plumber said he was finished I detected leaks in two new places in the lines that had apparently been caused during the repair of the original leak. A professional would have inspected his own work and fixed these new leaks before telling the customer that the job was done. After the new leaks were repaired, I was presented with a bill for $679.95 that had no itemization of labor hours, labor rate, parts description, or parts prices. When I questioned what I believed to be an unreasonable amount he said that one valve was a $300 part. Subsequently I found the identical new valve at six locations -- including two local plumbing supply stores and Lowes -- for retail prices of $52.99 to $97.14. Remarkably, the retail price of the valve is $179.85 at Aranda's own parts department - a very high price, but not the $271 that I was charged. I talked to Trisha in the office and then the owner, Ray, about this apparent price gouging hoping it was a mistake. Both refused to budge on the price even when I pointed out that it was $91.15 more than their own retail price. Ray offered a 10% discount to remedy the price dispute. I told him that I should already have been offered the 10% senior discount as described in Aranda's information on the BBB website, so the offer of a 10% discount didn't resolve the price gouging issue. read more

We are renters and our kitchen sink drain got plugged ... landlady said to call Aranda and arrange for them to come fix. We did ... and they did ... and did it promptly, left no mess, and reasonable charge. We also agreed on having them fix some iffy drain connections under the sink. Again, promptly done. read more

I have used Aranda in the past without a problem, although they are pretty expensive. However, I recently had them come out to fix a leaky shower. After about 2 hours, including a trip back to the shop for parts (this always happens) the plumber left after I paid almost $250.00. When I went into the bathroom, the leak was not fixed, and was exactly as it was before the call. I called Sean back on his cell and was told I would have to book another appointment through the office, which I did for 2 days later. However, this was never added to the schedule so I waited the 2 hour window then called only to find out that there was no plan to send a plumber out that day. They did send out a plumber on the following work day (Monday) and it was finally resolved. I asked for a call back from the scheduler but she never called. Would never use them again. read more

My tankless water heater was starting to give me trouble and I was tired of watching water go down the drain while I waited for the hot water, so I decided to replace it. I wanted a system that would provide hot water instantly when I needed it and Jason designed it. He installed a Navien 240A with a a recirculating system on a timer. Not helpful as they work in slow motion while you get billed. Not surprised at the lack of reviews considering that there aren't that many supply stores in the area. Aranda's worked on a wall heater that would not stay on. They came back multiple times but could not fix it. In the end they removed parts that compromised the safety of its operation. When I stopped by the store to ask them about it, one of the owners started yelling at me in the store. I would never recommend them to anyone. I had a leak in my water supply line. They were recommended by the guy who located the leak. They were out to see the job in an hour. Back the next day and quickly and very professionally did the repair. They even put an access panel into the wall in case a further problem developed. These guys were extremely responsive, did a great job and cleaned up after themselves. Unfortunately our furnace (boiler) had not been maintained by the previous owner and needed several parts replaced. But after the first technician completed his work the problems still persisted. The second technician was extremely efficient and not only corrected the problems but thoroughly rechecked the entire system to make sure everything worked well. Don't use Arandas. They sent out a plumber(simple bathroom sink small leak). He installed a pop up, which was not the problem. Also, it did not match my fixtures. I have brushed nickel; he installed chrome. Later that day I discovered an additional leak, which was due to the installation. They sent out another technician. I told him what the first technician had done and I wanted the new leak fixed. He said that Arandas did not do the previous work..that they don't install anything like that..that you could see the sloppy caulking and someone had 'wrenched' the part. I called and asked them to send out a technician that knew what he was doing, since he apparently did not believe Arandas had done this incorrect work, 3 days before. Long story short, he drove away,without saying anything. I called them again. I was told he had come to pick up the part I needed. He came back with the SAME incorrect part and wanted to remove what the first guy had installed three days before..the same chrome part. I told him to leave. The next day I went in to complain about this service/part. I was told they didn't have the correct part. I asked that they send someone to put the drain back together, as the sink was unusable, due to the fact that their technician had left parts on the counter, that were needed for the sink to be functional. They refused. I asked for a refund, since the guy had used the wrong part. They refused..in spite of the fact that they have a 30 day guarantee on labor, and I had an unusable sink..rendered so by their technician. I had to hire someone else to clean up their mess. I called Aranda's Plumbing to check the main sewer line running from my house to the street. They originally quoted me a flat rate of $250 to scope the pipe to see what was blocking it, when they got to my house they said they would have to snake the pipe in order to use the camera to see what was going on which would be another $200. They then broke the clean out and said that they would fix it. After snaking the pipe they still couldn't see what was going on and said they would go to lunch and come back to see if the water in the line had gone down enough to see the problem. All in all it took 4 hours and they weren't able to tell me anything I didn't already know and they didn't fix the clean out like they said they would. I was able to get them to go down on the price but I was still out $275 after taxes and had to call another plumber. DO NOT USE ARANDA'S!! read more

Customer service is not present at Aranda's. Called to see if they had a specific part in stock and provided the manufacturer part number to Trisha. She looked it up and said it is "not one of their [Aranda's] part numbers." I gave her the description, and she said she could not locate anything like that; she asked me to bring the part in to the store for them to see it. I said I didn't have it as it is a new part that covers a revision on the original part; I offered that the part is on the manufacturer's website, and she told me I could fax or email it to them. I apologized for assuming they had internet access and could look up the part, and she said they did, but that she didn't do that and the person who did was with a customer. There was no offer for him to call or for her to ask him to follow-up. I told her I wasn't interested in taking more action to cover an action that they could take with ease, and told her that would not be customer service. In this case, clear is that Aranda's does not want to take simple actions to fulfill on either customer service or sales. read more
