Visiting from Hawaii! My cousins that lives here been telling me the wholeeee trip to verify this place for them lol. Soon as I heard Hawaiian/Filipino fusion stuff.. I was like Pshhhh Automatic BOMB FOOD. Guess what? BOMB FOOD BRUH. I'm all for supporting local, Especially Hawaii Locals in the states, and they got my respect for sharing the taste of the islands fo sure! If you never been to Hawaii/Asia... and you're ever in Clarksville, Tennessee, craving that Hawaii/filipino Pacific fix... 11/10 Reccomend. I wish I had more time to talk story with them, but I understood they was busy. It was nice small talk when they could! Much Mahalos for the hospitality! I'll make sure my cousins that lives here can come kaukau lahdat Don't ever lose the Aloha Spirit! Gavin Sunday. @itgvisuals (IG) -Oahu, (Waianae) HI.

This food was AMAZING! We were in Clarksville for a wedding and randomly found this place and I am so glad we did. Everything we tried had so much flavor. My favorites were the pork adobo, garlic chicken, and fried rice. Also, I forgot to take a picture of the kimchi musubi but it was AMAZING. Also, everyone there was so helpful and explained how everything worked and recommended what to try. I can't wait for our next trip back to Clarksville to go again!

Delicious! We love trying new things to eat. We loved every things we ordered. This place is very busy but worth the wait.

The smoked salmon musubi was really good. And the li-hing mui gummy bears reminded me of Hawaii. It had the the lemon peel in it too. The ube bread pudding and coconut glaze was perfect! The curry corn beef hash patties broke the mouth! Everything was so delicious. Debbie made us feel at home. Will definitely be back while we are in town. The smoked salmon musubi was really good. I'm from Hawaii. And I'm so happy I discovered Arapaap here in Clarksville. A little piece of home. Owners are from waipahu, so you know it's real! I'm so happy. Musubis are legit with fat spam pieces and other local kine grinds too! Now when I start to miss home and get a little homesick I know where to go! Highly recommend. Everyone there is friendly and definitely brought the ALOHA here with them! So happy!

Ive been wanting to try this place for awhile and finally got to go today. We got there after the lunch rush so there wasn't much food left but we got a good meal. My kids loved that they got to pick their own main and sides. As a Korean who grew up in Guam, I always crave for some island food. We loved the noodles(had chunks of spam, carrots and cabbage), garlic chicken, hotdog, pork and salmon. Everything was good! It was on a saltier side but thats how islanders eat bc of the heat, you gotta salt and pickle things. The veggie croquette was good as accommodating other saltier food. The rice is necessary for all the other sides~ the kimchi rice ball was salty but very authentic kimchi fried rice that was breaded and fried. Very good! My kids devoured their meal! Our total meal was under $40!!!! We also went to Tito boba tea and the boba was yummy! My boys love to play soccer at the commons and we will dine here quite often. We have nut allergies and we had no reaction. The the lady who was so kind explained and made sure what we got had no nuts! Their food is cooked with sesame oil like most asian foods. So watch out if u are allergic to sesame! ;)

I wanted to love this place, and these are my favorite type of food. I've bugged my husband to take me here since we moved here in July. I ordered fried noodles, a hot dog, shoyu chicken, and salmon. The staff wasn't as friendly, with no greeting whatsoever. There were a lot of employees behind the counter, but I had to ask for help. I also ordered (1) spam musubi, which I wanted my boys to share because they would not finish if I got them their own. However, they didn't have a knife or didn't offer to cut it in half, so I had to buy another one. I'll probably visit again if I'm in the area but for sure not bugging my husband to drive me here.

I had Plain rice, pork adobo, baked salmon, seaweed, pickled cucumbers, steamed broccoli, eggroll (tamago) and the california inari all for $18

If you like Filipino and Hawaiian food. Ya gotta eat here. This little shop is small and on the corner of main and 1st, but got huge flavor. There isn't one thing on the menu that I've tried that isn't good. The pickled cucumbers are yummy too. Don't forget to get boba next door to compliment the meal. Great folks too.

Love this place! Good variety and they do a good job to replenish. Make sure you check out the specials, like loco moco or the Hawaiian breakfast, which are made to order. Tip: reheat items like garlic chicken, lumpia, and croquette in the toaster oven or air fryer when you get home. Boba tea was good - nice chew, and you can pick sweetness level. Definitely will be back. Killer location next to the new arena and (summer) downtown market.

Oh my god! I already had a feeling just from pictures alone that this place would be amazing. Let me tell you, I was spot on! This place is amazing I tried a little bit of everything and got a boba at the Tita Boba counter (Ube fans you'll be in heaven here). The food is amazing and the people there are equally as amazing. I definitely recommend the garlic chicken and the Adoba if you've never tried them before. Well I recommend everything really, it's all amazing!

I woke up to 30 degrees this morning, but it was 60 degrees just before sunset (according to my car while in the drive-thru). The sun makes it a little toasty inside the car, too. Hubby loved his double Whataburger with cheese. I tried the Patty Melt as it was free using the app & offer (with purchase of medium drink and fries). I liked the meatiness of it since it had two burger patties. Next time, I'll try it with extra cheese. It was a little greasy, but the bread was toasted well (dark). It got smashed at the bottom of the bag with the fries. Pic of it is when I got home half hour later. We all love their fries! Sorry, no pic of the fries. Haha.

Fat Shack Review - 8/10…read more I stopped by Fat Shack and here's how it went: Wings: I asked for them double-cooked and they came out perfectly crispy--not to mention, a really good size! Definitely not those skimpy wings you sometimes get. I tried a buffalo sauce I wasn't familiar with, but it wasn't bad at all. Solid 9/10. Fries: Also double-cooked, which gave them a great crunch. I love salty fries, but this batch was a little too salty--though nothing a quick napkin wipe couldn't fix. Still tasty. 8.5/10. Fried Oreos: They were warm and sweet, but tasted just a bit undercooked for my liking. If you like your fried treats a little gooey inside, you might love them! For me, it was a 6/10. Yep. Monster burgers? Absolutely. Fried everything? You bet. The menu is honestly fantastic. Unfortunately, the execution felt like everyone sampled the product before clocking in. Walked in on a Sunday at lunchtime and the place was emptier than my fridge after a teenage sleepover. Ordered immediately and wandered over to the soda machine. No ice. That's a bold strategy for a restaurant whose entire vibe is "we know you're thirsty." Then the wait began. They said 10 to 15 minutes. They delivered on that promise with the dedication of NASA launching a rover to Mars. Fifteen minutes in an empty restaurant is impressive. Even the DoorDash drivers had that look of, "Bro... I could've grown the potatoes by now." Food finally landed. The burger was actually pretty decent. Fried pickles were solid. The breaded fries wanted to be great, but some were cold and the fryer oil tasted like it had seen every presidential administration this decade. The staff wasn't rude. They also weren't awake enough to be considered enthusiastic. The whole restaurant had the energy of a group project where everyone assumed someone else was doing the work. That's really the story here. Death by a thousand little details. No ice. Slow food. Cold fries. Worn-out fryer oil. Dark dining room. Zero hospitality. Nobody seemed to notice, and that was the biggest disappointment of all. Fat Shack absolutely understands stoner food. What it doesn't understand is that eventually the munchies wear off... and people start noticing the service. I'd probably order it again... through DoorDash... and hope they remember the ice.
