Amazing food that is super unique. The service is very personalized and friendly. The ambiance is homey, earthy, and open. Highly recommend stopping by for their happy hour or to start bar hopping around Scottsdale Quarter.

So here's a perspective of a (proud) solo diner: Don't let the tapas fool you, you're still going to have a good time and a great meal! If you're an aesthetic junkie, I HIGHLY recommend coming after dark. The restaurant aesthetic plays heavily on the balance of shapes (primarily curves carried throughout arches, sconces, and interior trees), textures, concentrated light, glass and pops of strategically placed color. The playlist accompanies the clinking of glasses and bushels of laughter in light conversation, and as a solo diner, you'll find yourself at home at the full service bar. As an old fashioned girly, I love the cherry foam element (a clever use of man chino cherry residue juice). If you're not into sweet spirits, perhaps order it without. The ricotta toast is a perfect start to any evening- crisp, and luxuriously creamy, well seasoned, and savory (thanks tomato). The potatas bravas...I mean how are you going to hate on potatoes. There's certainly enough to share with three or more. Vibrant is the word that come to mind when I think of The squid ink fettuccine. Certainly the standout of the night! Let's be honest- butter has a way of making most dishes irresistible, but the vibrancy of this sauce alongside the crisp near vegetal crisp from the basil crunch bring this one home. All in all this place is a home run! As a solo dinner I left full, boozy, and happy. What more could you ask for!

This restaurant is beautiful - very modern and elegant decor. The menu is a bit overwhelming and everything *sounded* so good! My friend and I shared some dishes to try a little bit of everything. -Patatas Bravas: It wasn't crispy and tasted alright. It was mid. -Turkey Empanadas: I wasn't a fan of the shredded turkey, it was weird and didn't go well together. -Lamb Meatballs: It was one of the better dishes that we tried. Although, I've made a very similar lamb meatball at home before, so I didn't think it was anything special. -Fritto Misto: Basically vegetable tempura. It was really crispy! I wasn't a huge fan of either of the sauces though. -Beet Salad: I love beet salads, but it was so overpriced. It didn't taste any better than other beet salads that I've eaten before. -Cavatelli Carbonara: I was really excited for this one but the pasta itself didn't quite reach al dente yet. It probably need a couple more minutes. The smoked bacon was way too salty. I could barely eat this without chugging my water. Food: 2.5/5 Service: 5/5 Ambiance: 5/5 TLDR: It was overpriced and it was not worth it.

Chile garlic shrimp, broccoli/cauliflower and bread and dip (whipped feta)

Food: we ordered a little of everything. We ordered the Chile shrimp, patatas bravas, herb fries, bread and dip; broccoli and cauliflower, and frito mixto. Unfortunately; it was so disappointing- the pita was way too dense, whipped feta was salty, shrimp was too oily and honestly bad all around. My favorite thing was the tomato toast which was hard to mess up. Drinks: ordered the upbeet and really enjoyed it as it was a fun unique drink. My friend ordered the black mezcalita and it had a weird aftertaste that hurt her stomach. I think it was the black charcoal as she is an avid mezcal drinker. Ambiance: beautiful and stunning aesthetic Service: our server was great, she was very kind and patient with us Parking: within scottsdale quarter parking lots

    Dip of the day- babaganoush

I had a wonderful first taste of Arboleda at lunch last week... I say "first" as I'll definitely be back! I'd been wanting to try Arboleda since it first opened, so when Hailey P suggested we meet there for lunch, I was all in. I made a reservation a week before for our party of three and the process was seamless. I lucked out with great parkma (parking karma) when I pulled up and found a spot right outside of the restaurant too... Service was super attentive. Jorge was our server. We enjoyed starters including gambas píl píl, crispy vegetable chips, and the house-made dip of the day, which was a baba ganoush on the day of our visit. After those starters, we all decided to go with salads for our main course. Two of us with the greek salad appetizer and one with the chef's chopped salad main. Note: the greek salad is a smaller portion as you'd expect from an appetizer and the chopped is more than double the size, hence it being an "entree salad." All were fresh, colorful, and delicious! Ambiance at lunch was quiet and comfortable. The restaurant is colorful, warm and welcoming and I'm sure when it's not a random week day lunch in the middle of the summer, the place is jamming with a super fun vibe. I look forward to returning for drinks, dinner, and perhaps brunch. All of the menus look fabulous. Also, the restroom is worth a visit - check it out when you're there, even if just to wash your hands. Well done, Arboleda -- see you again soon!

I wouldn't say I loved it. Happy hour portions are super small and it's expensive. Fries were ok but a tart weird dipping sauce. We also had the hummus which was good but super small portion. Not sure I'll be back. The restrooms are really nice though

Came here at dinner time on a Sunday and sat outside. The tables and seats Re very comfortable. The service was prompt and the staff was friendly. Had the octopus, the crispy pork with fry bread and the squid ink pasta. The octopus was good but pricey for the quantity we got. The crispy pork was awesome and the squid ink pasta was ok. Overall, enjoyed a good meal.

You know the ambiance is right when you feel like you are in dining in an old restored restaurant somewhere in the Mediterranean but you're actually in Scottsdale sitting at a restaurant EST 2023. No doubt the interior of Arboleda is beautiful and is comparable to some of Scottsdale's trendiest - EttA and Toca. The rounded ceilings give provide historic feel and the trees inside are a nice touch. We shared the tuna and hummus to start. The tuna seemed extra fishy (no complaints here) and had a kick. The hummus served with pita bread was decent. For our entrees we shared the pork and cavatelli. Very fatty, very flavourful, and very delicious. My cholesterol needed to be checked after the meal. The dining experience was a little odd. First an outsider came up to our table and asked us to sign a petition for something. The music was bumping, shout-out the DJ but it was very difficult to hear others at our table of 6. I recommended a circular table Vs rectangular. Albeit the summer, the restaurant seemed porous. Less energy Vs more trendy restaurants but glad we finally went.

Maybe one of the most beautiful and well designed restaurants in Scottsdale. This is a dinner spot to impress. My wife and I loved every single item but our favorite starter was the croquetas de jamón iberico and for the pasta we had butternut squash ravioli. The staff was helpful fun and on point. Will def back for an anniversary or special occasion

Review that is long over due but better late than never. Saw others who had posted on TikTok and Yelp of how they loved this restaurant so we decided to try it ourselves and let me say this we weren't disappointed one bit. Arrived with reservations at 7pm and noticed the restaurant wasn't that busy upon walking in the front door. We were greeted, welcomed and sat immediately by our hostess, not the greatest indoor seating (was a bit warm outside for patio seating so we chose indoor) and sat near the restrooms, but this was a blessing in disguise. I ordered the black barrel old fashion with cherry foam on top and had to be one of my favorite drinks of the evening. I ordered the whipped smoked salmon cones and was impressed with the presentation and light / delicate flavor of the salmon and crunchy cones. We split the chopped salad (trust me this is enough for 2 to share) and we both couldn't say enough about how delicious it was and is on our agenda to order again the next time we come. We split the grouper and it was cooked to perfection with perfectly cooked potatoes and lovely aioli that didn't mask the flavor of the fish. Finishing off the evening with the complimentary baked Arizona & chocolate valhrona cake. If there's one dessert you must try it's their baked Arizona. Deliciously baked apples, ice cream (not your basic blue bunny) but hand crafted that's made with love. None of this matched to what we experienced by meeting the owners / brothers Steven and Mitch who took the time to talk with us about their journey from San Francisco to open this restaurant a year ago and what an amazing story it was. Both are extremely passionate about what they do and the care taken to provide quality dishes to their diners along with an amazing experience to be had by all.

Wow, what a night! The food was beyond excellent. They take such care into crafting these recipes. I got to talk with Chef Evan of the stories behind how some of them came together and they really do put the love into them! The Patatas Bravas were excellent, great crunch on the outside and so soft inside! The Iberico Pork...OMG it's a special type of pork, raised on acorns alone and strict guidelines to be true Iberico. The sauce they bring to it...so good! Garlic Chili Shrimp was perfect, the chili sauce they make in house is just to die for. Don't forget to mop it up with your bread! So good that I'll be back on Sunday for their shrimp broil!!!

Went a second time and tried other small plates. Had a wonderful time and service was amazing. Great open beautiful space with cool vibe decor and trees. Big and spacious and a lot of seating. Very open as outside flows to inside. Interesting selection of music they choose to play over the speakers..lol.. doesn't really fit the vibe, but it was good. Our server was very green and new, but sweet kid. Really didn't know about the wine nor menu for that matter. Love tapas style where you can order multiple small plates and try several things. We ordered the mixto trio that came with this marvelous delicious soft spongey pita bread. Soooo good. We chose the whipped Feta cheese roasted red pepper. It was very tasty but I feel it had too much Feta that it was a bit overwhelming and very very salty and I love salt. If I'm saying it's too salty, that says something. We also tried the veggies which I thought was going to come grilled or sautéed but it came out tempura style. It was okay, I would of preferred grilled or sautéed. I won't order this again. We also tried the Gambas shrimp which was delicious! Packed with flavor and so yummy. We had a sommelier come talk with us and tell us about their wine which was amazing. I ordered a bottle of Chablis from France. Very crisp, high in minerality and so good. Overall it was a good experience and I do want to come back to try their other plates. They have a very nice looking bar with a variety of cocktails.

Patatas bravas, grilled octopus & croquetas
    Tanya K.

We had a wonderful dinner here tonight! There were 6 of us and we tried grilled octopus, potatas bravas, frito misto, shrimp pil pil, lamb meatballs, hummus & croquettas. Ordered halibut & scallops. We thoroughly enjoyed every single dish - it was delicious & prepared just right with beautiful presentation. Service was professional, attentive & courteous. To wrap our dinner we had date cake & baked arizona - it was unique, light & delicious! Espresso & cappucino was tasty & strong! Atmosphere is casual, loved the music playing in the background but not blasting so we could carry the conversation without screaming at each other. We'll definitely be back!

The biggest difference was the ambiance. The music was so loud that it made conversation at our table difficult, and the tables were placed very close together, making the dining room feel a bit cramped. It lacked the relaxed, inviting vibe we've come to expect from the Gilbert location. We started with the Cacio e Pepe Arancini, and it was every bit as delicious as we remembered. Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and full of flavor, it's still one of our favorite appetizers. We also shared the Little Gem Caesar Salad, which had just the right amount of dressing and was fresh, crisp, and satisfying. For my entrée, I ordered the Shrimp Scampi, which was delicious with perfectly cooked shrimp and great flavor. Around the table we also tried the Agnolotti Pomodori, which was very enjoyable, and the Spicy Rigatoni, another solid choice with just the right amount of heat. Dessert was the only real disappointment. We finished with the Banana Caramel Butter Cake, but unfortunately it was quite dry and didn't live up to the rest of the meal. Although this location didn't have the same atmosphere as Gilbert, the kitchen still delivered several excellent dishes. I'd happily return for the arancini and pasta, but I hope they turn the music down a bit and give diners a little more breathing room between tables so the overall experience is as enjoyable as the food.

It did not disappoint - this is actually a second-story restaurant so you can see the runway and planes! I'll note it is at the far end of the runway, so it would be MOST ideal to sit outside at the end of the patio for plane watching. Two, the service was impeccable on a Saturday for brunch. Is everyone who works here in a good mood? The energy is bright, light and airy, the service is attentive but low pressure. Three, they LOVE PETS. I'm not a pet owner but while I was there two people brought their pets along and one was a golden retriever puppy. This wouldn't matter but puppies can obviously cause a nuisance indoors - this staff did not mind. They were not in a slow service part of the day but they treated the pets like patrons and it actually created a really relaxed, collaborative atmosphere. I will note this though because if you're not an animal lover/ are afraid of dogs, their acceptance is a little more than the typical "pets outside" policy. Four, the food. It was beyond exceptional, and it's funny because the typical airport diner isn't elevated. But this is Scottsdale, and we had really delicious, beautiful food - actually fine dining presentation but in these cute mismatched kitschy dishes which brought it back down home. Lastly for anyone who loves birding, you wouldn't think an airport is a great spot but there is actually wildly diverse population of birds in the Volanti entrance. Trust me.
