A few sprinklings of hemp seed added a little bit of extra textural component to the dish. It came with one poached egg on top. I feel like I did need some hot sauce to add some contrast to the light sweetness of the meal from the sweet potato and maple syrup. They offer Cholula and Yellow Bird sauce if you like a little spice or vinegar with your food. My husband had the banana pancakes which tasted a bit like the banana bread version of pancakes. They were good and had a lovely topping of berries but we were surprised there weren't any slices of banana on top to fully associate this dish with the main ingredient banana.
