If I could give anymore than 5 stars, I would. This place is absolutely wonderful. The staff is friendly and innovative. Every week I seem to notice a new product or dish that is available. I don't know how it's possible but every time it gets better and better. The meat is always on point and I literally do not go out for steak or burgers anymore, I buy meat here and cook at home, and it's always amazing. Beef aside, they serve up excellent sides and appetizers such as the best pasta salad I've ever had, chicken salad, fajitas, chicken tinga, pate en croute, coconut curry chicken sausage (you read that right!), and so many more. Almost gave up on our first excursion to this shop. We managed to pick a day with some sort of festival filling the parking lot. Even inside, the guitars were so loud you could not hear. This place is immaculate and considering what they are selling, I did not think they were overpriced for grass fed meats. Staff was helpful and he did his best to answer questions over the high decibel assault from outside. Bought a sirloin steak for dinner that was just melt-in-your-mouth goodness. We got mixed reviews on the burgers. They tasted great and there was not a lot of fat dripping onto the grill. My husband did not like the texture of the burger. I'm thinking it was ground a bit coarser than supermarket meat. Nevertheless, we will definitnely be back. read more

This is expensive 3rd rate meat. Our 7 lb of brisket cooked on a Traeger grill ,as we have done for 30 years , was like eating a leather shoe. We thru it all in the trash. This never happens with Costco brisket! Save your money and go to Costco for good meat. When I went to the store to let them know about our experience I was told it was our fault. Awesome place, I stumbled upon it looking around my new neighborhood and was thrilled when I spotted organic butcher! Staff were friendly and informative. I looked around happily for a while and happened to ask about liver pate and they had just made some that morning. I just had it and omg delicious!! Love this place! This was my first time in based on other yelp reviews and have found my new butcher as I'm newer to the valley and miss mine back home(IL). We came in just before the 4th of July and found them to have a lot of well stocked options after checking other butchers only to find they had been wiped out. The staff was pleasurable, knowledgeable, and quick. Limiting the number of people in the store at a time but we found it was a quick in-&-out thing. Went there Saturday for the first time, super friendly people, seems to be very good quality grass fed meats. We got two meals of grass fed beef and I will review them later this week when we eat our selections. The one comment I wish to make at this time is the gentleman who helped us got both our selections, weighed them and wrapped them and did all of it bare handed. No gloves.?.? That didn't quite seem right, is that the norm at this place? I didn't notice him wash or not wash, I didn't notice what he was handling prior to grabbing our meats but I wish I would have been paying attention. I guess to be safe we'll be very careful about getting our cooked meats up to temp. We do anyway but I can't help but to be a little concerned about the bare hands. This place bas incredible meat to choose from. We grilled up 2 different styles of pork chops, they were the best we've had without comparison. My true desire is to get some of the salami made in house. Grabbed capicolla this time and it's phenomenal but I haven't stopped thinking about that salami when I saw it and stupidly said I'll get it next time when I was first there. I have friends from small towns that personally know their butcher --- which I always thought was exclusively a small-town thing, so it feels rather wholesome to go Arcadia Meat Market. I pick up meat here for a sick friend who can only eat grass-fed beef and it's much appreciated that they know exactly where their animals come from, who took care of them, and what they ate. If they don't have what you are looking for, you may need to wait a few days for the next animal to come in, but they are very good about putting things aside. They also have bones for bone broth, which I bought a few months ago to make bone broth...but they are still in my freezer because I forgot my DIY projects always fall flat. So, if you're like me, just take the easy path and buy their already prepared broth. read more

This is such an impressive Meat Market. We have been a few times and always impressed with the quality and service. We bought beautiful Bone Marrow there. You have to prep those to cook and that's some work but you want to start out with quality pieces and we know we get that the AMM. We have picked up fresh eggs, great Pesto, nice pieces of pork, sausage, chicken and steaks. The meatiest ham hocks I've ever seen. The market is small and that's ok, they keep that amount of customers to a minimum inside and I appreciate that they are observing social distancing. We found the service to be arrogant and condensing when asked about the grade of the beef (ie: prime vs choice). Who knew grass-fed beef isn't USDA graded? Then he scoffed when we told him it was our first time in and shared the butcher shop where we normally purchase our meats. We were not impressed with the steak we brought home. We found it to be fatty, and tough. The parking lot was Mad Max, as another reviewer said. Literally, a guy zoomed into the parking spot almost hitting us. They did have an interesting array of products, but we'll drive right on past and stick with our regular butcher. read more

Shoutout to Nick and Luigi for bringing this amazing butcher shop to Arcadia! My husband is passionate about meat, we even own a smoker so I knew I had to take him to the Grand Opening to celebrate this new venue. Nick and Luigi were gracious hosts. Nick explained exactly where each protein was sourced from, the ribeyes and wagyu from Colorado, the free range chickens from California, the grass fed lamb and pork from Tucson and other farms in Arizona. Everything is locally sourced with no GMO's! Nick traveled to butcheries across the county to learn all there is to know about the business, and his partner, friendly New Zealand-raised Luigi was also kind enough to take us in the back to show us where the real magic happens. We literally saw 'where the sausage is made' and it was in a fantastic machine from Germany next to large hanging pigs swinging from the ceiling. They were bigger than me! Their mission statement is: "To bring trust and transparency back to the food chain by supporting family farmers who are raising Humanely and Sustainably" - and this pair is doing just that, with passion and aplomb. Finally - an amazing meat market in Arcadia! I was raised on a farm, and for the last 20 years living in large cities, I truly missed the 'farm raised' clean and grass-fed meat. I am so glad there is 'someone' that cares just as much as I do (and we all should) about what we put in our bodies. We need to get back to supporting family farmers and ranchers who raise animals humanely and sustainably. Arcadia Meat Market is a super cute shop with great selections of meat and local products at reasonable prices. We recently discovered the Arcadia Meat Market and we are very impressed with the quality of the meats and other products. Nick and Dustin are always super helpful and friendly and do a great job of explaining how the animals were raised and processed. We love going there because we know that the animals are locally raised and locally processed in a humane manner. The animals are on a natural diet and aren't fed hormones. You can tell it in the taste and the texture of the meat. Nick and Dustin are always experimenting with new recipes and are more than happy to share them.:) Btw, their chicken liver mousse is the best I tried in my life!:)) read more

Service was obnoxious, for a $36/pound rib eye the hipster behind the counter refused to trim the fat off the steak for me. I don't mind paying for quality meat but at that price the quality did not match it and the fact he charged me for an excessive amount of fat that I had to trim myself was insult to injury. Overall - I would not come back here nor recommend this store. High prices for bad service and the meet is nothing special. Do not believe the hype of the 5 star reviews ... Edit - thank you to the owner for calling your customers liars and blaming your problems and service on the customer, doesn't sound arrogant at all. The owner also messaged me personally blaming the problems on my perceptions of their store, very classy! Yup, all my fault because I didn't leave you a 5 star review. Let me apologize for being honest before you shame someone else for a less than 5 star rating. I've had plenty of expensive steaks that I've been just fine to pay top dollar for, much more than what you charge for A5 and Wagyu. Just because your meat is grass fed doesn't make it good - it's mediocre and over priced in my opinion. I'm free to share that opinion and the fact that you refused to trim a steak for me with other people. Grow up and try to take criticism constructively rather than attacking a customer. Nick has always been extremely helpful every time I visit the store. I have been a total of three times now and all visits have been most excellent. The organic grass fed beef has always been excellent and I look forward to my monthly fancy steak dinners from now on. All prices are reasonable and there is always very friendly service.
