When your five year young tells you BEST BIRTHDAY EVER, then you know you it was a successful. I do have to admit this was the easiest party I planned because all the work was done for my me my Dina & her wonderful staff. Dina was always in touch with me immediately in regards to any silly mom questions I had & made me feel very relaxed, which birthday party successes is very stressful. They have a variation of packages including extra hours & the entire package from balloons artist, airbrush artists to themed packages. We opted for extra hours & the referral of their airbrush artist. Manny was a wonderful decision, he added the wonderful touch to our Mile Morales theme,. I highly recommend his services .We where allowed to bring in our food & adults beverage but where also provided a referrals Dina & Arcave have previously worked with. I also utilized a balloon art & since there wasn't a party before ours . They where able to arrive earlier to set up. You are normally provided 30 extra minutes before your set time to prepare. I have to say to date this Birthday was fun for all our 50 guests for the children & their parents. The video games where 80/90's theme so there was absolutely nothing a child or adult couldn't partake in. The first floor is where the primary of the tables & cake table/food are set up. The second floor is where they have the couches & several screens to play games off of. The only downfall was it is not handicap accessible , so I was not able to host our guest on the 2nd floor but my husband was on it. We love love love the Arcave Room. I was able to host my sons 8 and 9 birthday here and no regrets at all. My son is already planning his tenth birthday there lol. Unlimited games, and awesome hosts . As soon as you walk in the worker immediately begins helping you with whatever you need . Literally everything . She helped me stuff my goody bags and set up the tables . Last year was a different person and she was also super great . This year we booked four hours and did not want to leave when our time was coming to an end so we asked to buy an extra hour and they accepted with no hesitation at all. This is a great space to rent out for a couple hours to throw a party! Although it says "kids' activities" on the home page, we rented the space for the hubby's bday party. (We even heard someone was doing a wedding reception which is the best idea everrrrrr.) Reservation: reserving the place was not complicated. They take reservations for rental online, so pick your date and time. You make a deposit on the website. It's about $550 for 2 hours and $450 for the next 2 hours. The booking is for 50 people (and additional persons are extra). Communication: for the most part, before the event, we couldn't reach the venue by phone. But when we contacted them on the "contact" page of their website, they responded super quickly. We were able to talk about the additional amenities (they have extras like taco guy, popcorn machine, etc.). We prefer email anyways. Lol! Venue: it's a 2 story arcade. The top floor has several arcade machines (like 4?) and a couple of console gaming stations. You can also broadcast tv up there too. No food or drinks upstairs. The first floor is the main area where they have a couple of tables and benches. We were able to use the raised bar space to put our water, sodas, and adult beverages. (I think people asked if alcohol was sold here and the answer is no, but it's also bring your own food/drinks, so bringing your own alcohol as long as the staff doesn't serve it is fine!) They also bring out a side table w a black table cloth for our desserts. The bottom area has 3 pinball machines, a super fine Jurassic Park game, and several arcades. 1 bathroom. 1 storage space w large fridges to put away things or keep your stuff (drinks, cakes, etc) cold. We booked from 7-11pm. They opened the space for us at 6pm so we could set up. They put up a Happy Birthday balloon sign and a sandwich board saying HBD, let us pick our music for the evening... and then let us do whatever we wanted to decorate and get food ready. Super chill environment! We also hired our own taco guy and it was pretty awesome to grab tacos outside (there's a little sidewalk nook area perfect for grilling tacos), and then eat them indoors and play games. Super convenient location and there's ample free parking in the parking lot of this little strip mall area, as well as free street parking. read more

Attended a bday party here, their AC "broke" and all the manager/owner could say was "Is out of my hands". I would recommend renting this place for any event, your guest will not be thrilled. Besides the AC issue, place is kind of small, about 2-4 games on each side of the wall and 4 screens at the second floor (unbearable because of the heat). I was there for a friends sons party and it was good set up and space.the parking is good since it's a small plaza. Enough arcades to keep kids busy of course. This is a brief review as I was only a guest at a birthday party for my son's first grader classmate. My son and I were both very satisfied with the experience at this facility. The restrooms are very clean and well-maintained. The staff was friendly and attentive (we pointed out some technical issues with one of the games). We had my son's 10th bday at the Arcave Room and it was a huge hit! We were able to go right after school and the kids went straight to all the games. The staff (McLean/Maclean? and Matthew) were very helpful in getting the games set up and helping us set up for the party. They also did all the clean up. They were super helpful, polite, and friendly. The space was very clean and it was nice to be able to drop some things off the day before so that we didn't have to worry about rushing everything in on the day of. Arcave Room has a lot of promising features. They have a nicely laid out array of classic arcade games on both the upper and the lower levels of the arcade. Coupled with the excellent 8 bit design aesthetic, one definitely can have an excellent time if they need to kill an hour. There are a couple suggestions I have and are meant to be constructive in their issuance. 1. Correct the pricing model. $10 for one hour is a bit steep to be playing games that cost around $5 to continuously play for an hour. This doesn't factor in the time it takes to switch games on the software running the game ROMS and does not account for the technical hang ups of not having all Xboxes signed in and synced with the same games. Since this is a destination for games, a third and fourth demographic should be assessed and pricing for a more broad consumer base should be set. 2. Get PlayStation. Better players, better console and everything except Halo is there. A fact I can live with. Make the upstairs a more competitive space and this is a winner. read more

This place is awesome! It's new so everything is all shine and nice. On the first floor: There's three pinball machines. A Jurassic park video game and three more video game machines. Tables to sit at. You can play $10 for an hour or $25 for the whole day. Upstairs there's one large screen video game. And four other video games with over hundreds of games loaded on it. There's couches and one large connect four game. We came when there wasn't too many ppl so it was great. I think there may need to be more connect four game or board games. The decor is so cute! I recently had my sons 10th here because well... he's a 10 year old boy who LOVES gaming. We checked the place out and loved it. Our host Kaitlin was AWESOME!! She needs a raise! I'm not just saying they because she was so great at my party I'm saying that because was positive and a problem solver she also kept all the other employees on task. The venue is great! Upstairs has gaming consoles such as Xbox. But also individual games such as you'd find at a Dave and busters. They offer themes and I got the fortnite package and it all came together amazingly. Here's where the problem comes in. I went into the business and booked my party face to face. I paid my deposit and received and emailed receipt. Two weeks before my party I receive a generic text from The owner saying something to the effect of we would love to host you party along with the price list. I immediately found this alarming and contacted her, where she told me she had no knowledge of my scheduled booking although I sent her a screen shot of receipt but she assured me the time I wanted was still available and all would not be lost. I show up an hour before my party which she said was perfectly fine to find frantic employees because the venue was DOUBLE BOOKED! I Stood and watched Kaitlin call the owner repeatedly in panic and to no avail the owner did not offer must assistance. We were only charged half of the venue fee which was compensation but it was the principle of the matter. That you didn't have my reservation to begin with you then told me the time was still available then you double book. We are human we make mistakes but that a lot of mistakes with little assistance to aide the situation. Kaitlin and I worked together and the party went off without a hitch! I was pretty disappointed in the professionalism of Dina the owner. I received a text at the end of my 3 and a half hour party with her apologies which had little value because..... the party was over. It would have been more appreciated if she would have shown up and given the apology in person and not leaving this kids who couldn't be any older than 19/20 to handle such a chaotic matter, especially because the second party were demanding and rude to the staff threatening not to pay just giving these kids an unnecessarily hard time. I believe if someone of authority such as the owner was there to defuse the situation things might have gone smoother. Again I say, Kaitlin killed it. That young lady has great qualities that will take her far. I wish her much success as well as ALL the other kids there. Thank you !! read more

I don't know where to begin. I was a little scared booking my sons birthday because I've never heard of this place before and none of my friends or family has been here before. But I trusted their IG pictures along with Yelp Reviews and let me tell you..... best decision ever! My guests and I had such an amazing time. It's a cozy and safe place for any party! There is a counter top that's nice and long for buffet style food. They have a fridge you can store extra food in. There is a cooler for you to use for your drinks! There were a good amount of games for all the kids and adults to enjoy. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. A lot of other places charge sooooo much money for half the price and half the time. I booked my sons party for 4 hrs and it was a good amount to help clean up the place! It's a safe environment with a lot of parking in the shopping center. Far too many times, people go the extra mile to complain, but won't spend a few moments to give praise, even when it's exceedingly deserving. In this case, exceedingly deserving is still an understatement. Let me start with Dina! What a treasure that woman is. I had so many questions to ensure that everything would be right for our party, and she was always so kind and warm. She never hurried me or acted annoyed with my calls. Customer service is always #1 when it comes to any experience, and a bad seed really ruins it for everyone. Her and her team are the kindest souls and why we would come back again and again. Not to mention, the facility is so nice and well maintained. Everyone had a blast, both kids and adults. They had something for everyone. Great parking for guests, attentive to our needs, and were even so helpful on the day of so we weren't losing valuable time trying to get set up. If you can and if it's available, spend the extra money to book extra time. No one will want to leave.
