Went to go pick up food about 20 mins after I ordered and saw a couple get seated. I knew this place was good when we saw lines out the door! We were there with one hour till closing too. We were visiting Utah for vacation and we're craving Thai food. We found this one in the downtown area and decided to give it a try. It was a 20 ish minute wait but we were seated promptly. I ordered tamarind duck and my boyfriend ordered curry. We're not that good with spicy foods and found the curry a little spicy. The duck on the other hand was soooo good. The tamarind sauce was not overwhelming and it wasn't too salty. The duck was soft and the skin was crunchy. We finished the duck and took the curry to go. The restaurant was busy but the servers were attentive. Our water cups were always full and they checked up on us. Great service, and great food! read more

Very bad experience unfortunately. We have arrived around 8PM and was asked to wait for 15 mins for table for 4. However the waitress let the group of 2 sit in before us because there's a table for 2. Wow, I didn't know a table with 4 chairs can only sit 2 person?! That's ridiculous. Not to mention the waitress has been very rude to us. After we finally sit in, there's no person taking our order for another 10 mins. And we have waited more than 40mins for food. I understand you are not a fast food place, but a normal place don't take that long to make a pad Thai or curry. Food was ok for the area, overpriced tho. We were passing through Moab and wanted something outside of the typical bar and grill style of food- but we found so much more. Authentic Thai does not get better. Food recs: I had the drunken noodles and accidentally ate the entire (large) portion... the depth of flavor was AH-mazing. And the crab rangoon was perfect in every way- delicate and tender, with a delicious creamy filling. I highly recommend both. My husband also LOVED his pineapple curry. Everything the waiters brought by looked amazing, though- I don't think you can go wrong. Atmosphere: The place was packed the night I went, but it was still not too loud to hold a conversation over dinner and the tables were nicely spread out, so it still felt private. After researching places to eat while we were in Moab, Arches Thai was one of the better ones we found. We got there around 7:30 on a Thursday evening and the place was packed. It was very awkward after walking in, we waited at least 10 minutes before someone even spoke to us and there were plenty of staff walking past during that time. When someone finally came up to us, they said it would be 20 minutes wait, we couldn't understand why since 3 parties were cashing out at that time. We put our name on the list and ended up being seated in 5 or so minutes. Once seated, we were brought waters and had to wait quite sometime to be asked if we wanted anything else to drink (their alcohol only consists of one red and white wine and a few beers). We then waited to have our order taken. We ordered the combo appetizer, which was perfectly portioned and the offerings were tasty, my personal favorite was the crab Rangoon. For our main, we shared the yellow curry with shrimp and some shrimp fried rice. The curry was so tasty, my only complaint would be that you didn't get much shrimp with the dish. I wasn't a fan of the shrimp fried rice, but it wasn't bad. All in all, the food is yeast but the service is definitely awful. read more

Have you ever been the table forgot about? That was us. We didn't think much at first, just that they were busy. We had already waited 20 minutes for a table. But then we saw people that were seated 10 minutes after us receive food. We were skeptical. We had been seated 30 MINUTES and still no menu. About an hour there and still no acknowledgment. Our fault for waiting so long to accept the fact that we had been forgotten. I wanted to like this place based on the reviews. We decided to leave at the 50 minute mark, disappointed and on an empty stomach. We let a waitress know on the way out, she did accept and she apologized. read more

The wait was insane & really awkward- but the food was also super good!! So maybe get take out or plan/get your name on the list way ahead of time if you like really good Thai food! I didn't do this review right away so I'm not 100% on the menu items I labeled matching the photos- but basically we got vegan everything & it was great! They did give us the vegetable garden rolls for free for the crazy long wait (mostly it was just weird that we stood around so long & no one ever took our name down, we just were stuck awkwardly with a couple other groups of people). The soup was incredible as well! Pretty cool atmosphere & obviously pretty popular! (Tables weren't all full but you could tell it is also popular for takeout they were busy with too) We liked all of our dishes we ordered. Checkout was also kind of awkward & we weren't sure if the tip was already added or even got any break down of what we were charged so we may also have tipped twice because their digital system only showed us a grand total when they ran by quickly for the check. Was about $65 just for vegetable meals for 2 adults & 2 kids plus then we tipped to make sure they did get one so is pretty pricey at least for how we were charged that day. If they don't seem super swamped I would definitely try to check them out or order pickup would probably be even safer so you know what you're being charged & avoid the awkward wait. We appreciated the comped appetizer though as the food did take awhile too since they were kept busy. Some of that may be covid area staffing challenges so still rating well even though we didn't have the best experience to give them some grace on that & credit for how pretty & good the meals were. read more

Visiting Moab for the first time, wondered "how can you get good Thai food in the middle of the desert?" Ordered the Yellow Curry with beef and white rice and was unexpectedly blown away. The deep, rich flavor of the yellow curry / coconut milk and texture of the white rice was a perfect Umami moment. Other dishes like chicken satay and Thai wings were also really delicious. I was expecting something after checking the yelp star and google star. Sadly, I would not recommend this place for someone who loves thai food. We ordered green curry (recommended by staff), basil stir fried, and Pad Thai, i have to say that the dishes have much of fusion that's been a bit too watery and sweet. The first thing you'd notice here would be the flies. The staff isn't extra nice or rude, just decent. They have a decent sized menu with options for different types of people. I wouldn't say the food is the best, but they do have good portions, however the pricing would not be worth it. Wow, never expected authentic Thai food in Moab. restaurant was neat and clean, tables were spread out which nice. service was great. We ordered Pineapple Fried rice with tofu and it was really delicious. We also ordered their specialty Passion curry. they say it's made medium-hot but it was pretty mild we thought. The last dish we ordered was Pad Thai with chicken and it was very well made. The portion sizes on all the dishes were very good. 3 hungry dudes and we had let overs. This place was disgustingly underwhelming. It was probably the WORST Thai place I have ever been. We tried to come here the other night a whole hour before closing and they wouldn't seat us. We then called the next day in the afternoon and they wouldn't take reservations. We finally came right when the kitchen opened and had to wait 20 minutes to be sat. When we were seated the table was slight dirty. We waited a good 20 min for someone to even acknowledge that we had sat down. After anxiously waiting and eyeing servers that passed to try and get their attention, a very unfriendly women came to take our order. We ordered the Thai tea, veggie spring rolls, the Pad se ew and the Tom yum Noodle Soup. After another 20 minutes of waiting our Thai tea came. It was SO sugary it was almost undrinkable and tasted very artificial. I got a headache just from taking a few sips. After waiting again a good 15-20 minutes the appetizer came. The spring rolls were the most disappointing thing I have ever eaten. The vegetables and ingredients were flavorless and tasted like they were sitting at the bottom of a soggy plastic bag for weeks. We sent them back. We then were brought the soup. The soup didn't have any noodles like the menu said it would. It was clear the lady messed up our order, and after eating the spring rolls we were too disappointed to send this back as well. When the noodles came they seemed to look ok. However, when I took a bite it was tasteless. There was no flavor to the sauce and the vegetables were similar to the ones in the spring rolls. We were so hungry from our day of activities we had no choice but to eat this food. We asked for chili oil which helped with our ability to scarf this down very sad plate of noodles. In addition I want to make a point to mentioned how many insects were flying in our faces and food while eating. I can understand if there is a flies or too they can't control, but this was NOT that. This place was infested with insects. I also want to bring up the fact that the menu had Japanese Chinese and Vietnamese dishes when it is advertised as a Thai place. Let me be clear, when I went to the bathroom and saw the kitchen I didn't see one Asian person ( I am Half Asian my self). I saw only white and mexican workers, which I obviously have nothing against, but it is very clear they lack training in making Thai food to say the least. To make 4 completely different Asian cuisines is a whole new beast, and this place is not prepared to offer Thai let alone this many Asian cuisines. Overall very disappointing meal and experience. I do NOT recommend coming here. Moab has surprisingly some very cute places to dine at and this is not one of them. read more

Hello everyone. If you want some Thai Food and are in this Moab region, go here. We were the dead last customers of the day, we called before we got there to make sure they were not closed yet, we were coming back after watching the sunsets at Arches National Park and we also spent all day hiking and walking around so we were starved and ready to feast. When we got there, we ordered within the first 5 minutes since we were so hungry and we were 3 hungry guys so we decided to each order 2 entrees and then share the 6 total entrees. The server looked a little confused asking us if we had more people coming, but we assured them that we would finish everything. As soon as the food came out, we took the photos, and we inhaled the food down basically like rabbits at a carrot farm or maybe pandas at a bamboo forest. We devoured it all. The service was quick and friendly. The menu is a blend of fan favorites and traditional dishes. Price point is perfect. Food came out quick and was absolutely delicious. I asked my sister-in-law who used to live in Moab for a recommendation and she suggested Arches Thai, so off we went. It was delicious!! I love Thai food (my local Thai restaurant owner knows me by name) and have eaten a lot of it; my gf has only had Thai once, so there's a range of Thai food love. Our friend who dined with us is also a Thai food lover. For the table, we had an order of egg rolls (delicious) and a later order of tempura veg. Our friend got drunken noodles with tofu and veg and pronounced it fabulous; for the two of us I ordered pad Thai with chicken, and yellow curry. Both were spot on, and I loved that they brought me hot sauce, since my gf's heat level is a solid ZERO, and I like some spice. That way we were both happy! The presentation on everything was beautiful, especially the yellow curry, which came with a sort of 'tempura veg sculpture' standing up in the middle of it. It was awesome!
