I was traveling for work and was looking for a good coffee/brunch spot to work at for a little bit between job sites. This came up on my research and I was completely blown away. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They told me they make their own vanilla syrups and roast their own coffee beans. After some quick back and forth, the worker recommended I try their eggplant shakshuka and their iced shaken cappuccino. Both were phenomenal! I honestly am counting down the days til I get to be back in the area for that shaken cappuccino again! The subtle flavor notes from their roasted beans really shines through and is balanced by the cream they use. The eggplant shakshuka was also great. It wasn't too spicy but it was a lot of flavor with each bite. I was so into the sauce that I almost forgot to save some to eat with the toasted baguette slices that came with the plate! Can't wait to go back to try other stuff!

Very good drinks and products that Archive Coffee puts out!

Archive Coffee & Bar I swung by because I thought there was a donut shop here. It turns out that they carry the donuts by the donut makers which the physical location for them is across the street (I will write a separate review foe that business at some point) but I needed a bag of coffee beans for home and wanted a coffee drink. I got an iced cold brew from their menu and it was quite good! The drink had a nice, strong and robust taste to it and was a nice "pick me up" for my day. The bag of beans I got were good also and provided a nice, bold flavor profile to chase away any grogginess that comes with early mornings.

Highly recommend the breakfast chorizo sandwich and the shaken espresso. I went here both days I was in Salem because the first time I tried it I knew I needed to go back. Service was fast and friendly, even when slammed during the Ironman race event. Very cool indoor space, lots of seating including booths. I'll be back!

Amazing decor in this place, and friendly service too. When you walk in there are a series of menus to your right, and the same menus are up at the counter as well. You choose what you want and order at the counter and they give you a number. Then they'll bring it to your table. I enjoyed the rice bowl. The tofu seemed to be fried and the sauce on it was spicy. The miso Moon coffee thankfully did not taste like miso, lol. My friend had an espresso and said it was terrible, very sour. Everyone else at our table seemed to enjoy our food, there were a lot of burgers and fries being ordered at the group. They have my daughter's favorite sort of salad, with blue cheese and steak. Sadly, they were out of salmon the day we visited. Would definitely consider coming back if I'm in Salem again.

This is a coffee shop by day and a bar by night. It's has nice hang out and meet up space. I ordered bees knees latte which has a light hints of oregano. Interesting drink menu. Casual. Good service. Please come and create your own adventure.

This is a very classy, moody establishment! We felt at ease with the dim lights, the slightly-metallic hewn wallpaper, metal pipe & chunky wooden shelves holding piles of books & plants. To eat, we ordered the Roasted Garlic Hummus, Cinnamon Bun Cookie, and to drink, we ordered the Old Grand-Dad Bonded & a House Red. We loved dipping the crispy-fresh, elongated & cut-at-an-angle cucumber medallions, thinly sliced radishes, & slightly-toasted baguette slices into the savory hummus! The cookie was amazing- served warm with the ice cream melting over a freshly-baked, caramel drizzled cookie!

    Three of hearts and Sundress

Only tried a couple of adult beverages. We ordered sundress and three of hearts. Normally, we each have a favorite and just drink that. This time they were both so good we had to share both! The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was an upscale coffee shop. I love the bar touch. The food looked good although we didn't eat. Definitely would come back

Stopped by this restaurant for a quick bite and coffee before a hike. Walking in the ambiance is so cozy and the staff were very friendly! My table ordered the breakfast burrito, breakfast chorizo sandwich, and the fish and chips, all so yummy! The very next day we had to go again and the avocado toast w eggs were the best i've had paired with their warm & toasty latte (i definitely recommend!). Took a trip up to Oregon from California and i'm so glad I stumbled upon this cute restaurant, I will be coming back!!

Great little spot with a wonderful menu and holiday special drinks. The charcuterie was delicious. Highly recommend a stop here. The service was quick and responsive

I ordered an ice latte with their house made vanilla and it was very delicious. 9.5/10. Would definitely go back. Looked like they had a lot of food option and seating too!

    London fog and lemonade

I love the atmosphere here. The employees are always super friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks are well prepared and presented. Got fish and chips. Chips were really good. Cod was a little on the greasy side for us, recognizing it's fried obviously, it still tasted good. London fog was absolutely delicious.

Are they open again? Last time I went they were closed for COVID and now I can't find a phone number to check.

As far as I know, yes!

Are the bigwig donut holes peanut free?

Hi, Cass! I'm not sure. Bigwig Donuts was doing a pop-up shop here until a few months ago when they opened up their own shop! It's really cute and we're really excited for them. Their place is actually just across the street from us. I'm sure if you…

We reserved on Tock, and it was mostly full on a Friday night. Drinks: lots of local beers are available, but I went with the Pineapple Express: she warned it was spicy, and it indeed was (in a really good way). All of the food is done family style: - Clams Galicia: with tomato, chorizo, bacon broth. This broth as amazing. I literally drank it with a spoon - Pan con tomate: slightly different from classic preparation - more flavorful and heavier on the toppings - Salmorejo: tomato and bread puree, Serrano, jammy egg - like a creamy gazpacho - Grilled asparagus: with whipped ricotta and a cured egg yolk - Squid ink pasta: with hazelnuts, caramelized onions, peppers, and a runny egg yolk, a bit spicy. This dish was my favorite - Honey brined pork chop with a basque piperade sauce The servers were all great about checking in. I would definitely recommend the squid ink pasta and the clams if you're in town!
