The first time I ate here I ordered the lobster ravioli and within 30 minutes of eating, I had such bad abdominal pain and I had extreme diarrhea all night long. Months later I decided to give the restaurant another try and I would just eat the pizza. The slices that are left out in the counter were dry and never really tasty. I did enjoy a plain fresh made pie but the slices are pretty small in comparison to other pizza restaurants. My husband has had the fried ravioli and garlic knots which he said were just okay. I was at a family members house and they wanted to order take out from the restaurant so I decided to try the eggplant wrap. After waiting an hour and a half for the delivery, I was so disappointed with the quality of the wrap. It had hardly any eggplant on it, there was a small piece of cheese and only one pepper that was on only one of the pieces of the wrap. This was the saddest wrap I have ever had. We had to put the food in the oven when we received it because it was literally cold. I also had a stomachache after eating the food. Never again. read more

Finally a local pizza place with great slices, fantastic food, wonderful delivery and a staff the goes out of their way to make you feel like you are their only customer. I've been living in Westchester for 14 years and hadn't found a local pizza place until now. My family stops in for a quick slice of pizza at least once a week and a sit down dinner when we have the time. This place is a fantastic neighborhood spot! Each slice of pizza is about a slice and half portion size at any normal pizza place and they have a fantastic selection of different slices. All other food is amazing and the service is impeccable. Great food, good service, nice atmosphere, and often crowded. Been coming here since they opened, we primarily take out food. The opening start was fabulous in every way. There was a short time when they adjusted to make more profits, but I think they've gotten back on track. My bottom line is that I enjoy their food above other places so that's why I keep coming back. read more

Great place for quick and delicious Italian food and pizza. I appreciate their attention to detail as well as their not overcharging for gluten free pizza. Basically it is a nice pizza place with a semi-separate dining area. The food was all good. They brought us a garlic bread with cheese that looked like a personal pizza, very good. We shared the hot antipasto appetizer, again, delicious. The side salad was included with our dinner, it was fresh but nothing great. I had spaghetti with calamari and my wife had tortellini Alfredo. We both likes our entrees. I guess a good sauce can make a great Italian meal and they certainly did that well. We both had desert and I had a double espresso. Bill was $70, not bad for Westchester where the rents are high. Next time I'll skip the appetizer because it was more food than we could finish. We'll definitely be back. Would give it 3 1/2 stars if i could. Update 2018. We have been back here many times and this place has yet to disappoint. The service is friendly and fast. My friend and I had a gift card to this restaurant so we drove 45 minutes to have dinner. We each tried to order a glass of wine and were denied. My friend has a Massachusetts ID (age 24) and I have a Connecticut ID (age 26) and were told they could only serve us if we had New York State IDs. We spoke to a manager who told us he doesn't want to risk losing his liquor license and would not serve us. Our waiter then came back and jokingly asked, "so are you really from Massachusetts?" The answer is yes - we're both definitely of age and are Stamford transplants. The food was good, but the service wasn't especially great. My friend ordered a Diet Coke and got a regular Coke...twice. They also never came to check on us to see how our meals were. Needless to say it was a very frustrating experience and we will never go back. read more

My mother called me one night a few months ago and said I wanna take you and Lori out to dinner. (my wife.) She said she had heard of a great spot and acted as if this was a secret location that we were about to be given the address to. We arrived at Ardsley Cucina, and immediately, the staff was friendly, courteous, and generally wonderful. The appetizers were large, almost to big for 3 people. The cheesy bread they give to each table should be put on a mantle and simply gazed at to be appreciated. The food- well the pasta, amazing. I ordered one of my favorite dishes, and a very old fashioned classic. Linguini Puttanesca. Here is what I will say about it. Thank you Ardsley Cucina, thank you for amazing wonderful and conversation worthy experiences. My wife and I have been back now a bunch more times, and slowly we're inviting more people in to the secret location that is Ardsley Cucina. The staff are sensational, the experience is outstanding. The ownership should feel very proud. This is what an eating out / meal experience should be. Oh and by the way - - I went in for a quick pizza lunch one day - surprise their pizza is amazing too. The restaurant seems to be divided into 2 sections, informal for pizza and quick stop-ins. The other section, a dining room, provided a more elaborate menu with main course type selections. The wait staff was very polite, attentive and efficient and aimed to please. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The pasta and chicken were very good. The salad was amazingly fresh. If I had any objection to this place it would be that when the dining room seats are all taken and full, it is quite noisy and drowns out your own conversations.. Something I ran into with the previous owner and restaurant. I'm not sure how they can fix that. It is what it is! All in all, I will be going there again. If it was possible to give this place zero stars I would. I recently had family members attempt to eat at this restaurant for dinner. However, upon their arrival they were turned away because my aunt who is physically handicapped and cannot walk was trying to enter the restaurant in a scooter. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I am beyond disgusted. How dare you turn someone away because they are handicapped; sorry Ardsley Cucina but that is called discrimination. To the management team that refused them service, shame on you. That is the worst customer service I have ever seen. People come to this restaurant everyday for a meal. These people are paying your pay check!! And you turn them away due to a physical handicap?! That is just disgraceful. As a manager myself, I have never and will never turn anyway away. I will never step foot in this restaurant. It is very unfortunate the management team at this restaurant refuses service to physically handicapped guests. read more

I recently moved to Ardsley and Ardsley Cuccina was conveniently close so we tried the pizza and it was excellent. Now mind you, I'm from the Bronx and my wife is from Howard Beach Queens.....so it's safe to say that we know good pizza. We then tried the heroes.....chicken parm and shrimp parm....excellent again. Then I brought my son's there....17 and 13....its safe to say we order food from Ardsley Cuccina at least 3 times a week. I have to say I am pretty picky when it comes to restaurants and I absolutely love this place. From the Pinot Grigio, to the Cheesy Garlic Bread (On the house) with the sweet balsamic tasty bruschetta that goes on top, to the crunchy chicken cutlets that my children never eat and they did here, and then my Chicken Madeira was amazing! My husband who has a culinary background himself even said, "this meal was delicious". This is a must try! The staff is so friendly, patient and great with kids.
