Comfortable with Good Food Arigna is the newest addition to the Pawtucket area and its great! The place is open and airy but still has that cozy feel of an irish pub. Service was great and helped us make decisions about food when there were too many choices! They have a good selection of food and the wood fire pizza was absolutely delicious! Other great choices was the La Frieda burger sliders and the Wings. The food is one step above the traditional pub food which is very much needed in this area. We were here for a business lunch, so couldn't enjoy any of the beers on tap but they definitely have a great selection! Other fun things, they do have a pool table, darts, as well as "pour your own draft" tables. Tip: The English chips are awesome, and they always have a draft special deal. Stopped into Arigna Irish Pub because my family is from Arigna (a very very small town in Ireland) so we felt we had to go! Our waitress seemed so annoyed when we asked why it was named Arigna Pub but we were very curious because most people don't know what the county Roscommon is, let alone the town Arigna. We just got an "I don't know". After that, I was really hoping the food would be outstanding so I could rate this place higher but it was a huge let down. We weren't starving so we just got two apps, the cheesesteak egg rolls and tator tot nachos. The egg rolls were really greasy and were supposed to be served with Guinness ketchup but it was really just bad barbeque sauce. When I see Guinness anything, I want it to actually have Guinness flavor. The tator tots were definitely just frozen tots heated up, they weren't crispy and just had some cheap cheddar cheese melted on top. So many much better Irish pubs to eat at... restaurants like this are the reason people think Irish food is bland. read more

Since the North Providence location isn't listed, I'm just going to leave this right here. First of all my youngest son has peanut/treenut allergies and they are phenomenal at accommodating food allergies. They legit changed out the oil so he could have some fries. He also really enjoyed the pasta with marinara sauce off the kids menu. They offer a huge selection of craft beers, ciders and a full bar. I typically get cider and they're happy to serve with a cinnamon rim if requested. I must warn you drinks are pricey, Baileys next door is much more reasonable. The basket of fries are life. Seriously they are worth every bit of plaques in your arteries they create. They dry rubbed wings are pretty good but I prefer wet wings. The meatball sandwich is bomb. I was skeptical since it's an Irish pub and being Italian I'm a bit of a meatball snob. It didn't disappoint. Meatballs are homemade none of that frozen nonsense. I haven't been here much, but from the 2 years ago I first tried it and the past 2 times I've ordered take out in the past month, I'm still impressed. I like how creative their ideas are for the pizza combinations. The sriracha and peppers combo, basic cheese/pepperoni, and margherita pizza's are all delicious, fresh ingredients, and made perfectly. Ok so we've been here a couple times. This time was during the covid situation. My husband had the Portuguese beef and I had the seared salmon. Our meals were amazing and cooked to perfection! We were looking for a place to catch the Aldo/McGregror fight this past Saturday - looked up a few places and saw Arigna was going to have it and with NO Cover! Can't beat that! Had previously heard of the place from coworkers and figured why not! From what I heard, the place prior was a bit of a dump - you would've never guessed that from what it currently is. Upscale, modern and funky fresh! We got there early enough to score a comfortable booth in front of a huge big screen TV. There are TV's lined up all over the place so you'll always have a good view. We ordered the pizza special to share as an app - sriracha chicken. Wasn't sure how it was going to prepared but the chicken was a bit disappointing. It wasn't as flavorful as we would've liked. However, the pizza dough itself was absolutely delicious - can't beat that coal fire oven! I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap, came with side of fries and my bf ordered the Irish breakfast. The wrap was just ok - but the fries would soooo good - hand cut and soft in the middle with a bit of crispness on the outside. My bf enjoyed his meal but it looked like a smorgasbord of everything but the kitchen sink! The couple with us ordered calamari and they said it was really good as well. They also have quite an array of craft beers - bottled and on tap, something for everyone! Def would love to try other pizzas and the wings next time around! When I heard about this place I was a little confused about how the combination of an Irish Pub and Coal Fire pizza would work. And like I thought the two just didn't work together and one was clearly better then the other, but probably not the one you would expect. I have to say, I was impressed by the pizza, although it wasn't rich in toppings, or overly original the pizza had a great chew, and just enough of that char you get from a coal fire pizza that really made it work, long wait though. The sad part was the pub food, I had the buffalo chicken potato skins. I mean how can this go wrong buffalo chicken and potato skins in one bite, well this was all wrong, old shredded chicken in a buffalo sauce, placed in some old halved out baked potatoes. For $10 to get 3 skins I felt was a rip off considering they are clearly using left over ingredients from previous days that weren't used. I picked up a curbside order yesterday. It was super easy, quick, and they brought my order right out to my car. The food was unbelievable! I'm obsessed with their Cheesesteak Spring Rolls but was a little hesitant to order that for takeout - after a 30 min ride home they were still perfectly crunchy and delicious! This pub was really unique. You can sit at a booth that has a pour your own beer station. There are only a certain amount of booths in the restaurant that have this station. We went off-hours and got sat at one no problem. They have your typical beer selection but no speciality or craft beers. When you serve yourself, the station keeps track of how many ounces you've poured and adds it to your bill at the end. I highly recommend the pizza. We split it for an appetizer and it was perfect. I had ordered here on a Sunday and the food as absolutely delicious that I decided to order again on Tuesday. I ordered around 340 they said 20 mins. As I was driving home from work I was going to stop. I arrived at 420ish which has been 40 mins. I waited inside for over 10 mins before someone helped me. To find out my order was just put in. Because I was ecpecting to just run in and out I left my car running and everything. So I left and my girlfriend went back to grab it about 15-20 mins later and the hostess goes "oh poor Katie the min she left her food was done". How is that possible when she told me they just put it in and it would be 10-15 mins. I get home and the food sucked. It was like they rushed it. For close to $70 I expect to at least get a decent dinner. This was my first time trying a coal fired pizza, and to be honest I'm not sure I like the crust flavor as a result. Much prefer wood fired or even just regular old pizza baked in an oven. That said, the overall taste was enjoyable. Back to the size... their pizza is, for lack of a better word - diminutive. It didn't come near filling the box. We had our last meal out before the shut down at Arigna and were back for outdoor dining the day they opened back up. Their outdoor dining is spacious and we feel confident and safe with the precautions being taken here. While I prefer the outdoor dining area, walking through the inside space never feels crowded and patrons and staff all seem to be respecting distance and wearing masks when appropriate.
