    Falafel Wrap and salad
    Maggie N.

Good food, reasonable prices and healthy (unless you get the amazing french fries with sumac). We had the falafel wrap and the chicken wrap. They came with either french fries or a salad so we got one of each. Loved the chicken breast in the wrap and it was more than enough food for lunch. Falafel wrap had hummus and lots of veggies - also very tasty. If you are in a hurry, maybe call or order online since it took a little while for the food to come and several folks picked up to go orders while we waited. There are a few tables inside and out so you can eat there as well. Nothing fancy, but clean.

This restaurant is so amazing! Came for lunch with my fiancé and we were sat immediately. Robert the owners son made us feel like family. I can't wait to come back

One word: FLAVOR!! I've passed by this location multiple times & finally decided to order through postmates! I was shocked by all of the flavor from the chicken kabob plate! The salad and hummus was delicious! But what really WOWED me was the green seasoned oil!! Wow, drizzling that on top of the rice was perfection- !! I couldn't stop eating it!! The chicken has a similar flavor to that oil so it was chef's kiss!

Burnt , dry chicken kebabs with rice that taste like instant rice. It's not basmati rice

The worst Mediterranean food I've ever had in my life! Never going back here again. What a taste of my hard earned dollars. Chicken kebab tasted old like it was from last night. Dry and burnt. The rice wasn't even Mediterranean rice. Just awful. Never going back here. Can't believe this place has 5 star reviews. I don't believe it

I am in the El Segundo area tonight for work and decided to try Aristo Cafe because it received such high praise from everyone who eats here. I have to say, I AGREE. I ordered the chicken kebab plate. Everything was delicious! The rice was super soft and soaked up all the flavor from the grilled chicken kebab, the salad was fresh and the dressing was perfect. I also got some baklava for dessert and it might have been the best baklava I have ever had. It was not incredibly sweet, which I prefer and the layers of phyllo dough were super crispy and buttery, the nuts in the center were almost creamy. Absolutely incredible, I'm glad one order comes with two pieces.

This place really surprised me. We were in the area and wanted Mediterranean food and we found this place on Yelp. I had the chicken skewers and they were delicious, well seasoned. It came with hummus, salad, pita bread and garlic butter. I will be back to try the chicken sharma. They have about 5 tables and plenty of parking in the parking lot.

After the hummus, we split five dishes for the four of us. The roasted cauliflower is straight forward and delicious, served atop a lovely tahini and turmeric sauce. The kale salad was light and delightful. The lamb kabob plate was exactly what you want in Mediterranean food. The steak atop risotto, a favorite from Jackson's (the prior establishment here), was near perfect. It was the best meal I've had in a while. I also had a spicy Mezcal with aloe cocktail, very good. The bartender came to my table personally and gave me this recommendation which I thought was really cool. I believe this cocktail will be on their Spring menu fyi. Overall, a great experience. As someone living with a brain injury and who has a valid handicap placard, I rely on accessible parking. Seeing those spaces blocked was frustrating and concerning. I was on hold on another phone call at the time, so I came inside and asked to speak with a manager. I spoke with Esmeralda and let her know the handicap space was being blocked. She told me she would call the non-emergency number since I was already on the phone. She stepped away and later returned. When I asked if she had called, she indicated the phone line of their line was busy, even though it was around 10:30 a.m. and the phone was right beside her. Because I was concerned the issue wasn't being addressed, I called the non-emergency line myself and reported it. While I was still on the call, an employee went outside and moved the bikes. Accessible parking exists for people with serious medical needs and disabilities. Situations like this make it harder for those of us who depend on those spaces. After realizing the situation had not been handled honestly or with urgency, I felt uncomfortable staying. I requested a refund and left. I hope this feedback helps ensure handicap parking access is respected and protected going forward.

I dropped by on a Saturday afternoon, where a few other patrons were already dining. The seating has around 6 or so tables inside that can fit around 4 each, and they also have high chairs for children! I ordered a number 17, which is the gyro, and got a side of hummus and pita then found a table to sit at. I had just finished buckling my child into the high chair when my order was delivered to my table! They are super fast here! The super friendly waiter delivered my meal, and I dug in. The gyro was stuffed with meat! This is a huge deal, since a lot of places skimp and don't give enough. So extra points to Al Hamra for a job well done. The flavor of the meat was juicy and well seasoned, super delish! The hummus and pita was good, although I usually add a bit of spices to my hummus so this one was a little plainer than I'm used to. Either way, it was a nice addition to the meal. The grand finale were the desserts! I usually go for baklava, but decided to try the knafeh, a layered cheese dessert with syrup and pistachios. Get the knafeh! The warm cheese and syrup were so delicious and made for the perfect ending to a good meal! It is a smallish window with covered patio seating. No indoor seating. Good for takeout or small groups. Plenty of parking. I've never really heard of Mexican Mediterranean fusion, but it kind of works. We ordered the family combo for lunch in hopes of feeding 5 dudes and 2 kids. Boy was there a lot of food and then some! Huge box of rice, another full of falafel, one for salad, one for sauces, and a random box of quesadillas. The meat was split between chicken and gyro, plus pita. Everything tasted great. The gyro was not classically shaved meat but more like cut burger patties but that wasn't exactly bad. There was plenty of food to take home for another meal or two. There is a ton of parking since it's in a shopping center, and the service here very helpful, quick, and nice. Lastly, the other positive for this establishment is the quantity of food. If you're looking to get full for cheap, this is your place. However, overall I did not like the food. They do market themselves as "fusion", which I guess allows them to have creative freedom over what is being served. I ordered the King Family pack, which is expected to feed 4-5 people, but in reality maybe served 7-8 people. I got 1/2 Chicken Shawarma and 1/2 Gyro as the protein, and I believe they are using the terms "shawarma" and "gyro" incorrectly... what we received was a half container of super dry chicken breast chunks and what looked like flattened hamburger patties in the other half of the styrofoam container. Neither one of these meats were prepared on a spit and shaved. The seasoning and flavor was not terrible - maybe close-ish to using a more authentic Mediterranean spice blend, but the meat was SO dry. The chicken breast chunks were disappointing, since we were expecting true shawarma (thinly sliced meat cooked on a vertical rotisserie). Same with the meat patties - which seemed like thin hamburger sliced - instead of seasoned shaved meat cooked on a rotisserie. I ordered a side of falafels, which were just OK... I wouldn't get any of those protein options ever again. It did come with a full (packed to the brim) styrofoam container of pretty decent rice and a full (also packed to the brim) of "greek salad" which contained mostly frisee and spring mix topped with diced tomatoes, diced white onions, sliced black olives, and an unusually large container of ranch dressing (and two sides of what tasted like an italian dressing or vinaigrette dressing). We also got a box of hummus (probably the best tasting thing I ate), a box of potato salad (a little runny for my taste, but flavor was ok), and pita bread (that was a little hard and stale). We lastly got a box of cheese quesadillas (very random). I didn't get to try these but they didn't look extraordinary and a bit greasy. I added on a few sauces for $6 extra - 2 really small containers of tzatziki, 2 small containers of garlic sauce, and 2 small containers of tahini. All in all, I wouldn't come back here and I wouldn't recommend this to any of my network (despite the high ratings). I WOULD probably recommend this to people who have a goal of getting full for cheap, but I was very disappointed with the quality and flavors of my $70+ meal (as well as everyone else who partook in this family meal).
