Shopped for some shorts, they didn't have my size in store so the sales associate Mckenzie assisted me by looking for my size, style and color online and as I checked out at the register, we were good to go. Prices are still insane for this store but it is what it is. Great quality so makes sense. Customer service was excellent this time around. Aritzia in general needs to carry large sizes though. read more

Some guy tried to help me at the store and he was a bitch. Truly don't understand how a store with such basic clothes can have employees who are so rude. The worst part is that the people here act like they are better than you but have the most boring and uninnovative outfits and styles. I've come in multiple times just to see the same thing - rude employees and outrageous prices. In the past I was willing to spend some money because employees gave me good experiences, now it's just all a quick payday for them. She ended up picking out a vest and slacks for me and added it to what I already had. After trying everything on I ended up buy the two items she picked out. I had such a wonderful experience shopping here last night. I was looking for some work trousers and one of the male employees was super helpful. I wish I got his name but he was so personable and loved his fashion. He even recommended me some extra pieces that would go well with my trousers. I fell in love with one of the shirts he recommended me. The fitting room situation is a bit different as I would prefer I private mirror inside the room but the staff always gives great advice and I even found another trouser someone else was wearing. Rude white girl at the check out at around 1 or 2pm yesterday. I genuinely never understood how people have the energy to be bitchy. Being nice is easier. She entered my email and phone number and then told me that my account didn't exist. I obviously know it exists, but instead of re-entering my information she wanted me to prove that it existed. I found email proof and THEN she re-entered my info and magically it all showed up. No apology, no accountability, just 100% bitchy throughout the whole interaction. There's something wrong with their attitudes. I come here once in a while, for the most recent visit I went there with my backpack because I just came back from school. It wasn't on a busy hour, and the employee who stood near the front door glanced at me, then kept staring at her iPad without making another eye contact with me. I was checking the coats near the door, and I saw she greeted everyone else except me, even I literally stood right next to her for a couple minutes, holding the coats and feeling its texture. I would give zero stars if I could. The staff was very rude to me. I started reading reviews after my experience and realized I am not the only one. I wasn't greeted at the door. When I was walking around, employees would walk right past me and not ask me if I had questions then go to people right next to me to ask them. Not sure if I wasn't "rich looking" enough. When I went to pay the girl said hi at first but it was fake nice. She proceeds tells me my total and tells me to pay when I'm ready. I said I have an e gift card I want to use first and she proceeds to make a face of frustration, reaches over to the machine and looks at her manager who proceeds to giggle. One of the most interesting stores in this mall, super spacious, artsy, perfect color coordination. Some Japanese fabric-we speak quality vibes and a sense of general organized beauty. Pricey but you can see mostly quality items. The store is elegant, nicely presented and somehow reminds me of the cool Zara of the 90s in Barcelona. read more

I dropped by Aritzia with a friend to check out their sale, aka the only time I personally buy their clothes. Their sale section was 50-70% off, which brought their prices down to a more reasonable level. As always, I'm not super comfortable around their very eager salespeople (they are definitely nice though) and the communal mirror in the changing rooms. However, I was able to nab two cute new tops at sale prices so I'll consider this a successful aritzia trip. read more

Terrible customer service, both instore and online. Their return policy is ridiculous. I purchased items on black Friday and they are only willing to extend a store credit because it was on sale, but that is what Black Friday is about. It was new store for me so I was learning sizes and fabric etc so I needed to return items. They would only provide a store credit and refused to let me speak to a manager. Apparently if you get store receipt when you purchase it you could return it but there was never any mention of it during the checkout process or in their policy. I was going to be in the area, so I gave them a call earlier in the day to see if they had a specific item in my size after finding it online. I know quantity of 1 can be a hit or miss, so I wanted to be sure so I wouldn't be wasting time getting over there. Turns out they did have it, and I was asked if I wanted to stop by today or tomorrow. Girl was really nice over the phone so I was looking forward to my visit. After getting lost around this place, I finally stumbled onto Aritzia, and headed straight to the back register area. Another friendly girl helped me find the dress, offering a fitting room if I wanted to try it on first. I'm now used to the no-mirror fitting rooms, so I knew what I was getting into. This thankfully fit; as I know sometimes different colors may fit a little more snug, etc. so after trying on the black at another location, I'm pleased to say the white fit just as well. Another plus was sales tax here is less than where I am, so that was a nice little surprise. My experience here, and at the Century City store have been positive, and I look forward to shopping in the future. read more

I would literally rather die than to use their fitting room. You have to go out into the communal area to even look in the mirror. I just think it's really odd and off putting. It's so awkward because men and women sit there and half the time I don't have the right bra for whatever I'm trying on. I will break down my review into three parts on what I expect from a retail store like Aritizia. Service: Similar to other reviews, I could feel that staff were not genuine and often times overbearing. I had a repeated odd encounter with one employee who had numerous opinions on every outfit I wore every time I left my fitting room. While I do appreciate compliments and small critiques, the extent of service provided was unneeded and borderline overbearing. I did not feel comfortable every time I tried to put something on and neither did my partner. There was also another female in the other dressing room next to mine and likewise, this same employee also made similar critiques, not only on the clothing choices they made but also on the customer's body type. While I don't think this employee represents the rest of the staff, I found her attitude very unprofessional and there clearly needs to be retraining on etiquette. Quality of Products: I admire a lot of the clothing styles which range from professional to summery-spring vibes to casual. The quality of fabrics used are sometimes a hit or miss especially for the trench coats. I've noticed some can be very flimsy fabric that can easily wear and tear or fall off easily in sensitive areas. I love the new dresses for the spring season, but I wish they had some in stock in my size. I do love their corset tops and their business-casual blouses. The fabric for those make me always squish and stretch them. Ambiance: Sometimes I go here mainly for the ambiance. Beautiful and well-dressed people everywhere! I used to like their store, but today I went to their location at UTC to try on clothes and had a terrible experience. It was my first time encountering fitting rooms without mirrors, so I had to step outside to check the fit. When I returned, all my clothes had been removed from my fitting room, and two other people were already inside. Not only was it awkward, but I also had to search for my clothes. Then, the staff told me to get back in line, saying that once I stepped out, my clothes would be taken out of the room. If that's the case, why not just install mirrors inside the fitting rooms? The staff also had a poor attitude. I'll never shop at their store again. read more

Honestly customer service can be a hit or miss here. I used to work a few stores down, so whenever I walk in, I'm usually looking tired and in my work clothes lol. Depending on who's at the door, you'll either get acknowledged or ignored. I try not to take things like that personally though cause it is Aritzia, after all. I don't really come here expecting the royalty treatment, but I do want to say it is nice getting those quick check-ins. Main reason why I'm writing a review is to give a shout-out to Sophia (not sure if I spelt her name correctly). When I came in tonight (around 6-7pm), she had a blue midi dress and a bucket hat on. She was super sweet, checked in a few times, and even made the effort to remember my name! Idk, things like that are so little, but definitely make a huge difference in terms of the average shopping experience. Some of the other girls in the dressing room area were also helpful and accommodating as well. I absolutely love the clothing but the workers are extremely racist. I am a mexican woman and as I was in the store I saw multiple store associates whispering and looking at me as I was walking around. Then, I went to try clothes on in the fitting rooms and the store associates did not ask me if I needed help or anything at all but with every other customer (white) they were so helpful and even complimented them. I love their clothes and buy a lot online- and I will still buy their clothes but I won't patronize this location because of the unfortunate experience I had with their store manager giving me a hard time with an attitude. The next time I shopped at their brick-and-mortar, I had a much better experience at another location that is not close to me, but rather than dealing with the South Coast attitude, was worth the effort. I've been a customer of Aritzia for years and my experience has never been worthy of a review until now. I came to make an exchange for an item that was delivered to me with a rip in it. This exchange was approved online by an Aritzia concierge prior to my arrival. However, they were sold out of the item and wouldn't give me a return in lieu, and instead tried to talk me into buying an alternative color (I already have several of this item in other colors). I was finally able to convince her to give me store credit but she did so begrudgingly. Both employees who helped me seemed unhappy about the request and kept asking me if I wanted to look around or buy a different color, which I honestly didn't have time for as I was in a hurry. I know employees are bound by the rules of the store but overall, the vibes were off. Also their return policies seem stricter and stricter which makes me cautious about buying from here at all. Unfortunately Aritizia leaves a bad taste now and I plan to avoid it here in the future as they don't seem to value their customers experience much at all. read more

I hate shopping at this store. 1- fitting rooms have men hanging out and you have to go out of your room to see a mirror. It's extremely uncomfortable to try something out only to come out to a bunch of guys lounging in the women's fitting room so you can look at a mirror. Get mirrors in the fitting rooms and move the benches outside!! 2- service is hit or miss. Some girls are friendly and helpful, others are too busy. Maybe they're understaffed. 3- the lines to the fitting room and register. You have to do something about the lines. read more

Came in for a few TNA items I was so excited about. The energy from some employees one in particular being a young boy with his mid drift showing and was wearing a grey suede boot was actually so terrible I literally have no clue what I did to deserve the attitude and side eye I was receiving. I wasn't dressed up or as fashionable as some others which I thought could have had something to do with it. I ended up leaving without buying anything because the way that boy was going around to his other female employees laughing and talking about me was so uncomfortable.... I really hope management sees these reviews as it seems to be a common theme in this location. Such a terrible experience honestly I think it's best to shop online only and hope that one day things will get better and you can feel happy and welcomed shopping in store. read more
