This is a very late post, but Arlette single handedly saved my wedding dress after a previous alteration had burned it, and claimed they had not. Arlette knew right away the stain was from a burn. She was honest and told me she would try her best, but there was a chance it might not come out. It was smack dab in the middle of the dress and yellow. I was a mess. She was able to almost completely remove it. The color after Arlette worked her magic was so faint, it was impossible to see if you did not know it was there previously. I was recently in a wedding in December, and I took my dress to get altered here. Just a heads up. The seamstress is only there on Wednesdays. So plan early. When I went to pick it up, it was still a little wrinkled. They happily steamed it again for me. it was $80 to do the alterations, even though my bridesmaid dress was only $130. I appreciated the service - however the price seemed a little steep in comparison to what I paid for the dress. Arlette is the best!! She such a sweet woman, I don't see how anyone gave this business a bad review. She is all smiles since the day I walked in. I brought two newly purchased jeans to her on a Friday and asked if they could be hemmed by the following day. Normally it takes a few days but Arlette was kind enough to have it done by Saturday. That was surprising to me since Dry Cleaners usually don't make exceptions like that unless you're a regular customer. This was my first time coming here too! I've had a little difficulty finding a good dry cleaner in the area to hem my pants since I'm so short I can't just wear them straight after buying. Good price too! $10 per pant. I've paid $15 at other places just to have it come back too short or the thread doesn't match the rest of the pants. But not here. Everything looks perfect and was hemmed correctly! I really like Arlette she is very kind, but I was not happy with the hem job her assistant did or the price I paid. I brought a bridesmaid dress in on a Friday and said the woman who does the alterations is only in on Thursday. When I asked for a quote on how much it would cost, I was told that she could not quote me, that it was up to the seamstress. So I came back the following week and asked the seamstress to shorten the dress and hem the dress above my shoes. My mistake here was that I didn't ask for a quote, and felt pressed for time as the wedding I was in was the following week. However, I think there is a responsibility for the business to notify me of the cost. When I picked up the dress I was charged $80 (almost the cost of the actual dress) and again was heading to rehearsal so I couldn't try it on in the shop. On wedding day I put it on, and it was too long! It was definitely not hemmed above my shoes and I kept tripping on it and finally had to tie it to enjoy the rest of the night. Tailoring experience was terrible Pricey: it was going to cost $590 to get two dresses, one shirt, and one skirt "altered" Rude: one of Vera's first comment is "don't get dressed, I will you get you an estimate because we have a lot of customers" (even if an appointment was made two weeks prior) Arlette and Vera frequently whisper in the back, making the customer feel that they are speaking about them. They ask you to get dressed on your own and never offer help. I requested assistance with buttoning my shirt since the buttons were in the back and her reply "why can't you do it? Buttoning is easy" Apathetic: I bought my dress a long time ago and initially thought all it needed was shortening, but when I tried it on, it was also big all around. I asked if they can make the dress look better by taking in the dress on the sides and she said "well that is going to cost more money, everything we do will cost extra money" I replied that I understood that. She again goes in the back, whispers some things with Arlette in their native language. When she does attempt to take the dress in you have to tell her where it needs to be done, when I asked for her opinion since she is the expert in this she says "well you don't know what you want?" So I replied "no, the tailors I go to usually make recommendations because they are the experts" I finally left with all my belongings when she poked me with the needles she was using to pin the dress read more

Wow! Arlette's did it again!! The last time I was in was several years ago for my own wedding dress and it fit perfectly after Arlette and her team worked their magic. Now it's my sis-in-law's turn to get married and my matron of honor dress needed some MAJOR alterations (two sizes too big between being in-between measurements and losing 15 pounds). The dress originally could fall to the ground if I didn't hold it up when I first brought it in. One week turnaround and the dress looks like it was MADE for me ! HOLIDAY HOLD-UP Three days before Thanksgiving 11-19-18 I dropped off my Beautiful $350.00 White Leather 3/4 Length Coat. Arlette told me it would not be ready for 2 weeks. I said fine. I called on December 5th (two extra days for Thanksgiving) to see if it was ready. She told me if would be another week & she would call me. Something in her tone made me feel as if I was annoying her. I double check my receipt & notice a disclaimer that said "Not responsible for any items left over 30days" so upon realizing time was ticking & I had no documentation to prove that I'd been checking in to see if it was ready I showed up with my iPhone camera ON. She seemed upset saying she told me to let her call me & the coat would be ready in 2 more days that would be the 12-13-18. Sure enough she called me in two days & said come get your coat we will be unable to clean it. I went in picked up the coat and asked why?She said in a very dismissive manner that it was "Impossible to clean." I Said well it sure took you long enough to figure that out. I guess I should be grateful my coat wasn't stolen but the Holidays & the Stress of feeling played by the owner who could have told me that the day I brought it in (if it was true) or not presumed that I would not be back within 30 days & the outcome would have been more to her liking. I had only wore the coat once on a trip out of state so it wasn't that dirty. I can't imagine what a professional Leather cleaner found so "Impossible to clean." Why was she so angry?
