One of my favorite past times is going to fast food chains in other states that I can find in my…read morehome state and I was recommended Good Times Burgers and Frozen Custard by my bestie. I haven't had a chance to try their food yet since the last time I got horrible altitude poisoning and the second time, the Uber driver just drove off with it (terrible, I know). This time I stomached a 30 minute walk through downtown to grab lunch here. It's a small restaurant meant to be a drive thru. However, there's some outdoor umbrella covered tables and seating. I've seen some people order and just eat in their car in the lot. There's a window for you to walk up to order if you're not driving through. I ordered: 1) The Combo #1: -You can get large or medium for combo orders and I got the smaller one so that I can have some space for dessert. The fountain drink cup is still quite plentiful for the smaller size. -This combo comes with a serving of their wild fries and the deluxe cheeseburger. -The fries are golden fried to crispiness and nicely seasoned with their blend of spices. Think campfire fries seasoning, if you know what I'm talking about. Solid fries. -The deluxe cheese burger comes with lettuce, tomato, onions, pickles, ketchup, pickles, mayo, and mustard, with American cheese (melted!). -Very mustard-y burger in a good way, a bit bigger than my fist, and, again, is a solid fast food classic. It is a bit messy though so keep some napkins on hand. -If anything, I want to say that this burger is a better version of what Burger King has since their burgers are a bit mustard-y too. 2) A single scoop of their frozen custard: -A must if you get anything form here. It's in their name! - I got the pumpkin pie flavor which is November's monthly special. -Comes with a dollop of whipped cream on top. -The custard is delicious. Very smooth and creamy, dense, but not impossible to scoop through with how soft it is. But it's not melty or watery either! It's sweet but not disgustingly so. Very yummy and I would come back to order more of their custard. Pretty good regional fast food chain!

I love good times, it's always so special to come home to the good ole homegrown fast food! When I…read moregot off last night, I was craving the wild fries. Unfortunately both the fries and chicken tenders tasted like an aquarium... which I have learned is the flavor of mold so... 12 hours later I am paying the price for assuming the best and eating a few more bites before realizing the flavor wasn't in my head. I love this place, but am now afraid to go back out of fear of eating more mold.

Always love me some in n'out. Prices are always reasonable. I got the single cheeseburger animal…read morestyle. The line was a little busy going through the drive thru, but given that it was a Friday afternoon, it was worth the wait. 2026 #37

This one pains me to write because In-N-Out is usually one of my go-to spots. I've had plenty of…read moremeals here that absolutely hit the mark, but today just missed... and missed by more than a little. My coworker and I found an In-N-Out right around the corner from a material pickup, so naturally we stopped. I'd been hearing about the Flying Dutchman and figured today was the day to give it a shot. Big mistake. I love onions -- seriously, pile them on -- but this thing crossed into onion overload territory. Looking at it, I expected flavor fireworks. Instead it just fell flat. The Flying Dutchman felt like a science experiment that forgot the fun part. It needed balance. More burger, less onion tower. The well-done Animal Style fries? Just okay. Not terrible, not memorable. Usually Animal Style is a home run for me, but today they felt heavy and underwhelming. Now for the biggest disappointment: the strawberry shakes. oth ordered one and immediately looked at each other after the first sip. These tasted like vanilla shakes that drove past a strawberry field. I actually took mine back to the counter because I honestly thought maybe something was wrong. Credit where credit is due -- they immediately remade it with no questions asked. Problem was... the second one wasn't much better. We each drank about half and tossed them. The strange part? I normally order a Double-Double Protein Style and it always hits just right. That's usually money. So I'm chalking this up as a lesson learned: Stick with what works. Today the Flying Dutchman didn't fly... it crash landed. -- Terry | @cheft_2469 | Always searching for the best bite

Favorite!! I'd eat here every day and be perfectly happy about it…read more I always get the chicken sandwich. The seasoning on the chicken is so good, and you never get any chicken surprise, if you know what I mean. They trim it really well. Huge appreciation for that! If they sold the chicken by the cup I'd buy it and just snack on it! Pro tip for the chicken sandwich: add lettuce and feta, then get a side of the salad dressing and drizzle it over the top. So good. Legit one of those sandwiches you start thinking about later. The fries are extra good too. Crispy on the outside, fluffy in the middle, and the seasoning on them is flavorful and salty in the best way. If they served Coke products, this place would be a 6 out of 5 :)

Order at the counter and have a sit while they prepare your food. The cashier was friendly. Food was ready in about 7 minutes I got the Beef Gyro Combo and the Spanakopita. Beef Gyro was excellent. Very tasty and filling. The fries were lightly salted, which was perfect. The veggies were fresh and crunchy. Spanakopita was not good. I did not finish it. It was nice and flaky, but the taste was off and the aftertaste was gross. Wouldn't recommend. Total was $23.49 after tip. Would definitely come back for just a gyro. The meal is just a little too much for me. Worth stopping by.
