We had heard wonderful things about Arnies.We wanted to go there, but got interrupted a couple times.. 2 weeks ago we went.. It was so good, my wife drove there a week later to pick up breakfast. We live 40 miles away.. This restaraunt is not fancy inside, but the service made us feel wanted. The food was excellent. My wife had A Tillamook omelet, and I had a small country gravy with biscuit egg and sausage. Im hard to please when it comes to country gravy and biscuits. ( we cook bake and do pretty much allot of excellent foods at home, but my diet Is limited. I have to pick times when I can splurge. The country gravy was real good and the biscuit? I give the 2 a 10 on a 1 to 10 sliding scale where, 10 is the highest. My wife's omelet and sides were so good she says " let's go to Arnies allot now". Seems she wants to try different things. This is such a hidden gem in Warrenton,OR. This was our first visit, and we will certainly come again. Firstly, the dining room and restrooms were spotless. The wait staff thoroughly cleaned the tables in between customers. The staff were all friendly and the food came out so quickly, even on a Sunday morning (busy). All four entrees were delicious and plentiful for a great price. They even brought out extra fries because they felt they shorted my daughter's order! Who does that???! Solid breakfast or lunch place with friendly service. The food portions are more than enough and are good for what you pay for. This little locals spot is packed on the weekends but wait times never seem to be long. I found this place from Yelp and wouldn't have found it otherwise as it is a hidden place off of the 101. Everyone seems to know everyone here! Great atmosphere! The only reason why I gave it 4 out of 5 stars is just simply because it's a solid breakfast/lunch place but nothing out of the above-and-beyond category. read more

Absolutely great staff & food! Mid-size space, but obvious local watering hole. Food was also great. Beware of the display case that meets you as soon as you walk in the door. It contains the best looking maple bars I've ever seen. Didn't have 1 at this visit but my friend, that lives in Astoria, will be visiting me inland next week. Off the beaten path of Hwy 101 and close to "downtown" Warrenton, Arnie's is conveniently located for campers at Ft Stevens State Park, the KOA, or folks training at Camp Rilea. The exterior of Arnie's is no frills, but the interior is suprisingly comfortable and slightly modern without going overboard. There is ample table seating and a half dozen or so seats at the counter. The food is amazing! The menu selection is vast, the prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly. Be forewarned, the portions can be huge! Don't order the full order of biscuits and gracy unless you share and even then it's so much! We are new to the area and found Arnie's on Yelp. With amazing reviews they do not disappoint!! My husband and I shared a full order of Biscuits and Gravy and a cinnamon roll. I wasn't expecting the biscuits to be so good!!! Most times they are a dry vehicle to house a good sausage gravy. But not Arnie's biscuits, they are delicious with or without the gravy. The sausage gravy was probably the best we've ever had!! We are both from the South so that's saying alot. The cinnamon roll was great too with a fresh homeade taste. This place is great for breakfast! There's a small bakery right when you walk in with massive cinnamon rolls, donuts, and maple bars, along with espresso offerings. Once you get seated there is a full breakfast and lunch menu. We ordered a cinnamon roll to share and it was moist and covered in frosting. So good! There are huge meals on the menu along with plenty of half sized offerings. I had the half b and g combo. It was half of a biscuit with sausage gravy, one link or bacon, and one egg. Busy, even at 1:30pm, but seated relatively quickly. We all ordered breakfast, and the food was delivered in a reasonable time. Belgian strawberry waffles were good, and the thick cut bacon was appreciated. The cafe has a new contactless payment option for paying at the table. However it demanded my name, phone number and email, or refused to process the Apple Pay payment. When I asked the apparent owner, I was told that they selected this service, paid for it, and could not change it. I tried to point out that I've used Apple Pay for over a year and never had to provide my email, or agree to be marketed to (as per the fine print on the app), and got shouted down to pay cash, or credit at the register if I didn't like it. I felt the apparent owner was snotty, and could have explained the limitations of their new system and accepted my comments without shouting me down. I left unhappy with the service. First things first. Best service ever!! We were visiting our father in Warrenton and stopped in to meet him for breakfast before we headed back home. From start to finish, everything was perfect. Nice atmosphere, great coffee and the best chicken fried steak and eggs I've had in a long time! I should have taken a picture but it was too good to even think of stopping for a pic.
