Read previous reviews and decided to check it out. Definitely worth the stop! Friendly staff and amazing food. Loved the variety and appreciated a "lighter" menu as I don't need too much. I ordered the breakfast sandwich and it was perfect! Hubby ordered the Southwestern Omelette and the veggies were fresh and it was perfectly cooked. They also offer a fancy coffee menu so we had a mocha and cappuccino which were delicious. The cafe itself was clean and bright and festively decorated for Christmas. Great little cafe with all the home town comfort food you'd ever want. Bree had a pancake with sausage which she really liked and I had a 1/2 order of biscuits and gravy. We stopped at Arnie's in Warremnton on our drive to the Washington coast from Los Angeles. I have a Service Dog (full bred Shih Tzu). The owner asked me what is my disability?? First of all, I've never been asked that question in the 2 years that I've had my service dog. I answered for my anxiety and depression. She quickly said that is not a service dog and you have to leave. Anxiety and depression are high up on the list of disabilities for a service dog.pp She needs to check herself BIG TIME!!!! Arnie's is conveniently located between Ft. Stevens State Park and Ft. Clatsop National Park. The cafe was nearly full when we arrived for lunch. I ordered the fresh codfish burger with a side of chicken noodle soup. Two large pieces of breaded and fried fish shared a bun with a slice of tomato, onion, a lettuce leaf and too much tarter sauce that dribbled out. Some outcast pickle slices were on the plate as was the cup of soup thick with noodles, carrots and cubes of chicken. The burger was good and so was the soup. The staff were friendly, alert to refill drinks and efficient. The building is old but inside is comfortable and nice, even if a bit worn. read more

I'm so glad we happened upon this little gem! The atmosphere is bright and very inviting. My husband had the Hobo Biscuits and Gravy. Normally he finishes every last bite but the portions were so huge he took half home to enjoy later. I had the Breakfast veggie scramble and it had the freshest vegetables I've ever had for breakfast. They put quite a bit of Tillamook cheddar in there as well!! This place is exactly what I love in a breakfast place. The building is a little divey, but don't let that discourage you. The two ladies waiting tables were super attentive and friendly, actually looked like they enjoyed being there. The food was great, we each had omelettes that did not disappoint. I got mine with pancakes on the side and my wife got the potatoes and toast. Pretty cheap for the quality and amount of food you get. I'd drive past Pig N Pancake every time to eat here! read more

Arnie's chicken fried steak is what I'd call average Good but average. My wife had their standard bacon and eggs with hash browns it was very good. Service is tops the place is really friendly and very clean. It'd be nice if more breakfast places would flat top their chicken fried steak instead of throwing it in a deep fryer. You end up with a mismatched flavors of french fry's, and fish. Just saying this maybe Arnie's might give it a taste trial and get their regulars opinions about it. read more

The food was okay at best. Portion sizes were small. A $9 waffle with strawberries was one single small waffle with a side container (like ketchup would come in) of strawberry syrup (no strawberries) for an additional $1.50. The omelette was okay but looked and tasted baked vs. cooked on a griddle or pan. I'd give the food a 3.5. The kicker was that my son picked it up and provided a nice tip. When I looked at the receipt, I noticed a 10% takeout charge. I've done lots of takeout since the pandemic started and have never seen a takeout charge. It's not the money, it's the principle. Restaurant owners should be grateful for the business. Clearly not much competition in this area for breakfast places. I would go to McDonalds before this place, and I haven't been to McD's in 20 years. read more

A great place for breakfast. I had an omelet loaded with bacon, sausage, peppers, jalapeños and cheese with a side of bacon. My wife had eggs Benedict. We both enjoyed our meal. My wife and I have gone to Arnies at least six times now. We've had four different waitresses and they were all professional, friendly and helpful. The food is the best example of common American fare including elegant classics like Chicken Fried steak and gravy to Eggs Benedict, (yes the hollandaise is real.) They brown hash browns on BOTH sides and quickly correct any mistakes. Clients are mostly NOT jonesing for a cigarette. read more

We heard about Arnies from our Airbnb host and boy was he right. We shared a HUGE cinnamon roll, the frosting was gooey deliciousness, the roll was light and fluffy filled with just the right amount of cinnamon (and for just $6). I had the eggs (cooked perfectly to my request) with kielbasa (seemed home made, not store bought) and my sis had the hobo, the gravy was a perfect addition to a mix of eggs, potatoes, cheese and ham. Arnie's was such a wonderful find. The food and coffee was delicious. The tables are spaced well for dine in with the current plague conditions. The staff was very friendly and considering how busy they were the food was ready in a good amount of time. I had a bacon cheese omelette with hash browns and white toast. Last update, I had been craving a chiliburger for a couple of months, so I decided to go to Arnie's to get one, they do have the best chili. As always, the wait staff was 5 star service, and the cooks were incompetent service. I ordered my chiliburger with the fries on the side, so as to not get soggy fries from soaking up chili juice. The first to come out was chiliburger, the cooks failed in their timing. I took my bite and thought something seemed off and it was confirmed when I went to cut into the burger for my second bite and blood oozed out of the burger. So, I pushed it aside and waited for my fries to come out. The fries were good and as I finished the fries the second chiliburger arrived. The waitress assured me that this burger was cooked and that she had cut into the burger to make sure. I thanked her and proceed to finishing my lunch. So, I give the 1 star review because, even though the wait staff are super stars, there is never an excuse for serving a bloody burger. For this reason and the reasons listed in previous reviews I find that for my own safety against food born illness I will not risk eating at Arnie's Cafe again. read more

This restaurant was near the campgrounds and had ample area to pull in and out with a trailer. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs. The hubby got some pancakes and eggs. The pancake was very good!! The other couple got the Hobo and the serving sizes were quite large. The place was pretty quiet when we came it...It was a little after the breakfast rush. The service was great and the staff was very friendly. I really enjoyed the biscuits and the hashbrowns. Nicely cooked! Very traditional filling breakfasts here. read more

Have been camping in Warrenton for years and only found Arnies a few years ago. Their breakfast is outstanding. The gravy is amazing and the Arnie's Hobo is so full of flavor. It's the best hash I've had. Their cinnamon roll is not too sweet and super gooey and delicious. read more

We (4 people on vacation from Utah) We're camping in fort Stevens and we wanted to try out something local and inexpensive and once Arnie's Cafe popped up we saw the food and we wanted to go so once in the restaurant I ordered the Denver omelette HUGE serving sizes I was unable to finish my omelette but finished the hash brown which was also HUGE! It was just amazing the place a small little diner simple design the food just beyond amazing at a fairly good price too! Would definitely comeback when in Oregon :) read more
